After several days of serious playing I have come to realize just how great the Rebellion is. They have faster ships, more ships, better knowledge of where the Confederation's trade routes are, and they are the sweet red color. You are more likely to see a Rebel convoy than a Confed one. The rebels are way better than anybody.
The Confed Cruiser is useless when alone. The reason being that it is more likely to be attacked. It has high chances of being attacked by a group of rebel ships and then there will be no other cruiser to help it.

Since this question has been asked several times already, and Basilisk does not seem to be forthcoming with the answer, here it is.
Take big blender. Put in 1 sliced banana, handful of blueberries, and one-fourth cup liquid medium, such as milk, yogurt, or hot tea. Blend at highest setting.
Note: this recipe is conjectural. Whether this is the kind of banana fludge that Basilisk means is unknown. But if any of you want to try pouring this down your throat - or better yet, watching someone pour it down his/her throat - now you can.

No, that's nothing like the banana fludge I was thinking of- it sure tastes nice though.
The reason I didn't explain it was that it would require a lot of explanation, which I'm not really prepared to give.

but i still dont understand how, you've gotta destroy all his interceptors and stuff, and the dreadnought still fires those silo rockets, which are a bugger to avoid...btw, i once beat 2 rebel cruisiers in a captured confed frigate and i once beat the dreadnought in a UE fighter, but neither time had i used the monty python...strange. another point about the monty python is that the dreadnought (or confed cruiser) doesnt go fast enough to make that sorta manuver work...im still puzzled by all this

We need evmp to decide who is the best pilot is. Untill then Ankh Starrunner is the best. Btw it is really easy to destroy the Alien Crusier with a shuttlecraft, all you have to do is hide behind astroids untill it runs out of those sad like things then keep the shuttle right on top of the crusier and fire the guns constantly. This works because the crusier has no turrets, only that beam weapon.

Rebels are the best, all the way. R U kidding me when you say confed space is safer? I got defenders chasing my back when I'm in Sol. Plus, you can blow up 1 or 2 traders without getting a bad rating when your in rebel space. And ain't the rebels a lot faster?

yeah, if ankh can do all that, hes best...when evmp comes...then we can have a big tournament in sol!

Why is it always between rebells and Confeds? They both suck by my mind. I can beat a Confed Cruiser with a fricking Rapier, not that hard. When it comes to ship combat, Confed Frigate loses to the Rebel Destroyer flat out. Manat gets wasted by the Patrolship, Rabel Cruiser Beats Confed Cruiser. And The manata can acastionally beat the Gunboat.
Now, if I were to buy any of these ships, I would go with the Confed Cruiser. Fully upgrade it, and then take over all the planets in the galaxy, except for Sol, and Palshief. I have a life (sort of) and wont spend 24/7 trying to take these planets over. I did it ALONG time ago, but it was a real bitch.
Oyeah, if you want to take over Sol, I suggest you cheat, cause you need all the weapons you can carry. Even if you cheat, it takes along time to do.
Now, beating an alien cruiser with a shuttle isn't that hard. You just have to aviod the seekers. And you have to keep the alien fighters busy with your escorts. Then you sit on the ass of the alien cruiser and kick its ass with 3 laser cannons. Takes a while, but it is do able.
EVMP is a dream :frown:. I wish it were real, make it like UO or something. Have shards, or servers, each playing a different plugin, and each keeping track of the players info. This would require a $hit load of work and time. Something me, or my brother would contribute to if others would help alot. But then there is legal ****, so I wont bother :frown:.
