Early in the morning Myrx awoke, dressed, and headed to the Warship Bay. He instructed to get a massive fleet ready along with his own task force. Myrx stood in front of the pilots and crew of the ships. "We are going to aid the Miranu, and help increase their possible trading. This will not only help them, but it will also greatly improve communication farther to the west. A band of enemies to almost all races of the galaxy will be pinned in a corner of the universe, with nowhere to run to." After saying that, the crew was pumped and ready. They all entered the ships and lifted off into space. 30 zidaras and 20 zidagar fighters entered hyperspace to the west, the direction of the Miranu. When the ships entered hyperspace Nivad turned toward the hall and left for the task force that he previously sent for an attack. He gathered the pilots together and told them that they would again leave for the <classified> system. "Be careful, they may have raised defenses since the mission was started." With that, all the ships prepped and Nivad entered a Zidara. 25 zidaras and 15 fighters entered hyperspace in a different direction than the first fleet did. Regent Moran Kalhek was once again in the middle of a council meeting, but this time things were a bit more calm. Several months of innane bickering and petty infighting had finnaly pushed Moran over the edge and he had ordered several of the old guard Council Members assasinated. After he had cought and executed the "terrorists" that he had contracted to dispose of the ineffectual council members, Moran simply gave several passionate eulagies... then appointed some real leaders to the Council. As he looked over the faces of the new council members, almost all of them were paying close attention as several researchers gave a presentation on the two new technologies that were even now being refited to the Azdgari fleets.
The first of these, which until now had shown up on budgets and ledgers only as "Classified Project Alpha" was only now being refited onto ships in the Azdgari system itself, before proceeding to the heavilly contested Igadzra frontier. It was basicly the development of an Azdgari Point Defense System to be refitted to all existing Azdgari Aradas and Capital ships, as well as being added to future ships during construction. At the moment, a small Azdgari in an old fashon lab coat was summing up the project.
"In conclusion, A number of small low power, wide beam, tractor arrays and extremely accurate, focused, but low power, laser batteries will be installed on the hull of the ship to be protected. Whenever any type of projectile weapon (i.e., rockets, missiles, SAD/E modules) enters the immediate vicinity of the ship, say 1000-1500 meters, the PDS batteries will lock automatically lock on to it with a tractor beam, slow it down as much as possible, then destroy it with a highly focused laser blast. All batteries on the same ship are linked, and adjacent units can provide backup if certain areas are being overwhelmed. This system will be effective against all but the most massive of barrages. Azdgari Aradas will be fitted with about 15 of these batteries (15 of them are about 10 tons in all, 3-4 tons for a linked generator and about .5 tons per battery) and Azdgari Warships and Battlecarriers will be fitted with around 60."
Even Moran himself was impressed, especially by seeing the test holos of Azdgari Warships withstanding huge barrages of SADs and Pursuit Missiles from multiple vectors. It was immediatly obvious that this technology would make the Azdgari all but invincible against the ranged weapons of the Igadzra and the Zidagar.
Classified Project Beta, was a little bit more modest, but still very impressive. From what Moran could tell, the researchers on Xarnes had come up with a way to boost the shield regeneration on Azdgari Capital ships and Aradas to make them almost 60% faster than normal. While this wouldn't make the Azdgari ships unbeatable by a longshot, they would be much better able to survive in thos long firefights with the Igadzra, not to mention those nasty phased beam weapons of the Zidagar. As far as Moran could tell, the refits has started several days ago on the Igadzra frontier. They had been refiting the Warships on Diudir and Chak first, entire teams of techs working over each Warship with care.
The next presintation was given by a group of ship-crafters from Dames. Using a laser pointer and the large holographic display in the middle of the room, the senior ship-crafter explained in great detail every nuance of the new Azdgari Battle-Carrier. This new addition to the Azdgari fleet would allow them to carry even more of the powerful Azdaras into battle, as well as providing missile support with it's powerful Pursuit Missile capalbilities. The industrial goods stolen from the Zidagar had facilitate the contsruction of 2 additional BattleCarriers along with the prototype. Those ships, along with the first group mass produced by the shipyards on Dames, were about to be deployed to the Igadzran frontier.
After the Ship-crafters were done there was little more of interest in the meeting, a few raids on Zidagar and Igadzra convoys, a natural disaster at some tourist attracton or another, all pretty boring. With nothing more important left to disscuss, Moran dissmissed the Council and retired to his office to look over the latest fleet deployments.

South Tip Conclave
"The Conclave has been quite active lately, as you know," Varian explained to Ashak as the two of them made their way to Outpost Sentinel's docks - Ashak to his courier, Varian to an Arada prepared for him. "Liberation of this station was only the beginning, I'm afraid. You know of the Obutes Federal Directorate, I believe? If not to a considerable extent."
"Conclave forces are making a landing on the planet to pacify the situation there. There's a fullscale rebellion, and we fear that the Directorate may use weapons which would cause irreparable damage to the moon, and kill hundreds of millions. It's a risk, but we have no choice but to intervene, and hopefully bring an end to this situation."
Varian laughed. "I'm afraid it'll be quite some time until this sector can be free from war. Only twenty two light years from where we are now is the star system of Yelts, under the control of renegades - albeit it of a different species. We knew very little about Yelts, and its neighbouring system of Riomor, before we captured this outpost. The long-range sensors and existing data files taught us a lot, however, and there is indeed something to fear to the north-west. Ruthless killers, sly captains, and lately, the formation of what they call an empire. Once the Directorate is pacified, we'll be moving against their primary system of Riomor, as soon as possible. To hit hard and fast, you see."
"That's one of the reasons I wish to talk to the League. They have similar goals to ours, although I sometimes fear that their intentions are slightly more ambitious..." he paused then, regarding Ashak. "I doubt it's anything to worry about, but believe me, if the League breaks what we call the ethical boundaries, war between us will be inevitable. My point, however, is that destroying these pirates would serve both our aims."
Ashak listened to Varian's explanations of the current situation and the Conclave's aims, noting it all down mechanically. It began to become clear that the Conclave was considerably isolationistic, while not xenophobic. It was thus surprising that they had chosen to communicate with the Miranu at all. The Conclave hardly seemed the type to seek an ally - from the way Varian spoke of the attack planned on the human renegades, it seemed the Conclave practically intended to inform the League it was to commence, and invite them to join in at their choice.
But there was something about the righteousness of the Conclave, the zealous determination in which they strived to make the known galaxy as they thought it should be - fair, just, and honest - that made Ashak wonder. Did the Conclave want an ally, or did they intend to teach the Miranu?
Thirty miles below the surface of Bakoom, a fusion reactor came online, providing power to a heavily guarded, top secret underground facility, the construction of which had only recently been completed.
The facility was Infinity Threshold, designed to act as the primary centre for highly experimental research into the unknowns - the final frontiers of science. It was, to put it simply, an armoured spherical construct "dumped" into a huge chasm, and then filled over. There was only one way of getting in or out of Infinity Threshold: a mag. tube stretched from the surface to the facility.
Already, a steady steam of scientists specialising in numerous areas were arriving at Infinity Threshold, and a project was underway. Codenamed the Galactic Eye, it was to be a sub-spacial sensor. Unlike conventional sensors, the Galactic Eye, to be based on Bakoom, would be able to receive data instantly. It would provide as clear an image of a star system as having a ship in that system could provide, with several advantages. Firstly, the Galactic Eye would be able to detect ships cloaked spacially (though not ships cloaked sub-spacially ). Secondly, it would be able to circumvent jamming systems and stealth devices - although later research into sub-spacial communication would be necessary to allow the Galactic Eye sensor to relay data on to ships in battle instantly.
The range of the Galactic Eye was aimed at seven hyperlinks. It would be particularly dependant on these links rather than actual distance due to the nature of the sensor.
Fourteen Conclave ships broke out of hyperspace in the Unobot system, roughly half from Malago and half from DSN-4496. From seven of those vessels - Crescent warships - were launched wings of Crescent fighters, and the entire forced a defensive position and came to a halt. Directorate ships in the system comprised of only a few Crescent fighters at that point.

"Interesting," mused the Kayan at the helm of the Maverick , recently appointed Magistrate of the Conclave. Her name was Evhael Car'ya, and she had long been one of the premier aviators in the South Tip. She had joined the Conclave's fleet and risen to the rank of Magistrate within a period of only several months. She made no pretense of belief that there was any reason other than that the Conclave were desperate for good commanders, but she was proud of her position nonetheless. "The Directorate forces are seriously outmatched. That squad leader is all but commiting suicide."
"Do we open fire, Magistrate?"
Evhael sighed. "We are presented with no other choice. Eliminate their ships."
A wave of Conclave fighters raced towards the Directorate's seven craft, breaking of to take the flanks at the last moment. A wave of SAD modules crashed into the Directorate's ships, and both sides engaged furiously. The brief engagement came to an abrupt end when the Conclave's Laziras moved into range and opened fire. Dispersal rockets imploded metres from the hulls of Directorate fighters, tearing them apart.
"It is done, Magistrate."
"How long until Guardian Karatis' forces arrive in the system?"
"Just under three minutes."
"Right. Recall all fighters, and prepare to clear out Obutes' ground defences as planned."
The Relentless II , Karatis' new Arada, swept down into the lower atmosphere of Obutes under the covering fire of dispersal rockets and phase fire from Magistrate Evhael's fleet, acquiring another target - a low orbit defence sphere. Phase pulses soaked into the Relentless II's shield bubble as Karatis launched off two disperssal rockets. The defence sphere exploded in a ball of plasma.
"One down," Karatis muttered, "too many more to go."
He acquired another target, and turned off sharply to engage it. There was as of yet no sign of any manned defence.

Zurg had just arrived at the new factory on Gorky. This factory would be used to create the first clone army. His guards escorted him from his ship to the main cloning factory. The giant doors swung open to reveal a huge emty building. Zurg paced around the edges of the dim, expansive room. After a few minutes he returned to the door and met the head constuction manager. "This is a good start you should have the first shipment of cloning machines within a few days. The next phase of this project will be the constuction of a food production facility. Continue to build defence turrets. I need this factory to be operational and at maximum production rate in a month." With that he stepped out the doors and marched across to the clone development lab. This lab had clone the first protoype soldier and was presently researching food cloning. He entered the clean brightly lit lab and was greeted by an enthusiastic young scientist. "We have completed the prototype. Please follow me," he said as he hurried off down a hall. Zurg followed him along the narrow hall and into a room with a strange looking contraption on the floor. This is the cloning machine the scientist said it takes about three to four days to clone one soldier. And now to show you the first clone for your new army. He led Zurg to the back of the room and through a door. A man with short black hair snapped to attention as Zurg entered. He was lean and muscular but had a sickly pale complexion. Zurg circled the soldier who was outfitted in a light blaster repelant suit and carried a small battered blaze pistol. He seemed on edge as if all his senses were alert for danger and like he would suddenly start on a killing rampage. "We have engineered him so that he is more aggresive, more alert, and much stronger than any ordinary human. He follows commands without question but will sometimes become over agressive when in battle and ignore any attemps to stop him, " spoke the scientist."This is a good start. I want you to develope a worker prototype that will build ships for the army. Continue your research and put this soldier design into production after three hundred workers have been created," said Zurg. He then turned and exited the room. The Azdgari Fleet in the Diudir system was in a state of high alert. After the previous hit and fade attack, they were taking no chances, and had arrayed themselves in two patrol formations near possible hyperspace entry points from Elridi and DSN-2143. Diudir's new commander, the recently promoted Vice Admiral Nerus Bal'Heron, was not going to risk being caught unprepared by another Igadzra blitzkrieg. Now that all of the Azdgari Warships in the system had been outfitted with the new Enhanced Shield Generators, the planet's outfitters were starting to refit the new PDS Batteries onto his Azdgari Warships as soon as possible. There were currently 4 Warships with fully operational Point Defense Systems, which he had positioned in pairs to protect his warship formations from SAEs and Berserkers. Two Warships were currently down on the planet's dry-docks undergoing the refits themselves.
With all of his 360 Azdaras deployed and on alert, Vice Admiral Bel'haron waited.
Himgrow "Thank you for your assistance." The commander put a credit chip on the desk, and then walked outside. He went back in, and the Igadzra behind him where carrying something.
"This is a certine type of mine that we have developed. I am delivering 20 of these mines to you as a show of no hard feelings. Don't try figuring out how they work; you will never understand the thing without the schematics. Just place the mine near the enemy ship, and watch the sparks fly." The commander walked out, and back to his ship.
"I can't believe I had to be nice to them." The commander had a look on his face like he was ill.
"Master Mindule said you must, or they might try something before we leave." An ensign had just walked into the room. He paused, and then spoke uncertinly.
"Commander, thought about something. It took them 6 hours to bring us these devices, When they probobly could have loaded it onto the ship in 1 hour. I think..." He gulped, and spoke again. "I think they might be rigged." The commander sighed, and slowly nodded his head.
"Set up a beam on an Arada. Use it to throw a mine in the direction away from the system. Then use the tractor beam to bring the mine back."
"Yes sir." The ensign walked off to the enginering room. An hour later The Arada flew out into the atmosphere, and when there we no ships around, launched a mine (mines can launch out of a Berserker torp launcher). The mine flew a bit, then just sat there. Slowly, the pilot selected the Repulsor beam, and turned it on...
(Solel, could you finish this? If the beam is rigged, say what happens, if its not, just say that the mine flew away and then came back with the tractor beam.) ---------- (I will write more later, now I must go)

"Zurg, I need that cloning technology. Please send it on a small un-suspicious looking helian or krait. For it I will trade our technology of phase pistols so your men can have them as an improvment on whatever weapons you have. They are very effective on energy shields, but won't do much to armor. Please reply soon. I am also planning on making a new prototype of weapon. It is a light weight beam we will call the Ion Beam. It draines shields very slowly, but that's the phase cannon's job right? The beam will be mainly for shredding through armor. All ships will be equipped with it as soon as the prototype is finished. You might want to trade some technology (such as your missle technology) for it also. Please respond soon with your reply on the offer. Disco out.

Himgro
The Igadzra arada fired the repulsor beam at the mine andthe beam hit the mine, giving it the impetus to move far across the system. The arada quickly sped after the mine, using a tractor beam with no trouble whatsoever to latch onto the mine and tow it back.
The Igadzra commander was satisfied. Once again he thanked the Miranu for their grace in giving him the beams. He then boarded his ship and the Igadzra departed from Himgro.
The Miranu would remember the Igadzran promise to leave them alone in the future.

Mira
Fourteen robed Miranu filed into the High Council meeting hall, accompanied by various aids and a final figure robed in pure black. The lead Miranu took their appropriate seats around the main conference table, and their black-robed companion took the podium. Smashing his fist onto the table, he spoke.
"Today marks the beginning of a new era! Today we remove the thorn from our western side!" shouted Zor Klef, Director of Miranu Fleet Intelligence. Second in command to Supreme Admiral Shek Sunrunner, he was present on Mira that day in the admiral's place since he was not needed at Fleet Headquarters until the battle of Hrekka was over. "We will march forth into battle with our Zachit comrades and a Zidagar task force for support. The fleets will now be positioned across our borders, and the fleet will be in constant contact with the Miranu High Council from this day forth. We will work side by side to better the lives of our people and create frontiers for them to explore. With these promises does the Fleet pledge its undying allegiance to the Miranu Star League and its leaders." Zor Klef bowed his head.
Applause thundered across the hall. Researcher Lelos Somm noticeably clapped loudest.
"Thank you Director Klef," acknowledged Trademaster Dah. "Now, let us address the matters of our current research and production schedule. High Councilor Somm, you have the floor."
The Researcher of Station Pybin nodded. "We have completed the designs for both the Zidagar missile arada and the Miranu Lightninghammer missiles. Trademaster Dah, if you would communicate to our Zidagar friends the plans for the arada?"
Corzun Dah keyed up his docuscribe and sent a message to the Zidagar.
(Transmission...encoding...(Encryption Level Zeta) To: Zidagar High Command, Zidagar, Zidagar System From: Miranu High Council, Mira, Mirava System Subject: Design
Enclosed is the missile arada design plans. Share them with no one. As soon as the renegade threat of Hrekka is finished, this contract will be complete and the only remaining threat will be the renegades of the Rock. The Miranu people thank you for your efforts on their behalf.
Sincerely, Trademaster Corzun Dah, leader of the Miranu Star League End Transmission)
"Thank you Trademaster," spoke Somm quickly. "The fleets will be refitted with Lightninghammers after the Hrekka battle. Since most of the pursuit missiles will be used there, we are wasting no resources in this effort. It will take approximately one galactic standard week to implement all the upgrades. Since we now have free resources to pursue other endeavors after completing the arada design, the Research Directorate wishes to put forth the proposal that the Miranu High Council authorize the construction of a new research facility of equal capability. We recommend that it be constructed deep below this very hall, embedded safely in Mira's crust and guarded by the standard research security methods, including the armor purchased from our UE allies. This facility will be complete, we estimate, in four weeks. Is this satisfactory to the High Council?" Lelos Somm stated this final question in such a manner to imply he expected no one to disagree with him. No High Councilor was inclined to do so. Somm was gaining more and more power these days, and besides, the proposal made sense. Fourteen green lights flickered on. Apparently High Councilor Neve Ashak's son, La'ernu Ashak, who served as his father's proxy while he was negotiating with the Conclave, saw reason as well.
"Excellent. The measure passes. Now, Director Zor Klef. Let us watch the battle of Hrekka unfold."
Aboard the M.S.L. Discoverer, flagship of the Miranu Defense Fleet
"The Admiral! Salute!"
One million Miranu snapped to attention in perfect unison. One million Miranu wore the blue and violet of the Star League. One million Miranu formed the well trained crew of the flagship of the Miranu Defense Fleet.
"Present," roared Supreme Admiral Shek Sunrunner, "arms!"
The snap of phase rifles filled the barracks. All the soldiers turned to face their leader in exact synchrony. The four vice admirals walked up to flank Sunrunner. He lifted his staff of command, slammed it onto the deck. A ferocious BOOM resonated across the deck. The Admiral turned to the navigator of the ship.
"Disengage hyperdrive on my mark. Nine, sixty-five, two, mark!"
The Miranu Defence Fleet burst out of hyperspace in the Hrekka System. Along their right flank was the Zidagar force, led by Commander Myrx. On the left were the Zacha, already arranging themselves into formation and chanting mercilessly across the comm units their war cries to strike fear into the hearts of the renegades. The Miranu formed themselves into a wall formation, an arrangement allowing them to concentrate all the fire of the Gunships and Carriers onto any target in front of them without hitting each other. The Sokar Carriers began launching fighters, utilizing the Quick-Drop fighter bay inherent in their design, and soon they hade each disembarked 8 Crescent Fighters, and shortly after that, another wave of 8 from each Carrier joined them. The 24 Sokars had soon flooded the Miranu side of the system with 384 Crescent Fighters; the fighters in turn rearranged themselves into 32 squadrons of 12. The 59 Miranu Gunships moved to cover the Fighters, and the Carriers began arming their pursuit missile launchers.
"Ensign, how many renegade vessels are in the system," asked Supreme Admiral Sunrunner with infuriating calm.
"Sir, there are 18 Crescent Warships, 14 Laziras, 44 renegade aradas, 35 Crescent Fighters, and," the ensign paused, "and 6 ships that appear to be heavy freighters. They could be any type of ship commander."
"Thank you Ensign. To all ships," said the admiral. "Fire a volley of SADs and pursuit missiles at the Heavy Freighter blasphemies. After they are eliminated, focus fire on the Aradas and Laziras. Order all Gunships and Crescent Fighters to engage all enemy ships, with the Crescent Warships as their primary target. Let's make this attack as quick as possible people!"
A mass of fire flowered from the Miranu lines. 177 SADs raced towards the renegades, who were just now becoming alert to this enemy fleet attacking them. The SADs were accompanied by 72 pursuit missiles. As the renegades started scrambling for a defense, the missiles slammed into their hulls, despite their attempts to take evasive action. All six of the NT Light Cruisers were instantly vaporized. Another volley followed, and another and another until 15 renegade aradas and 5 laziras. The renegades, better awake now from the jolt. Started launching fighters from their Crescent Warships as the Miranu fighter fleet and gunship force moved in bolstered by the Zidagar and Zachit forces.
The battle for Hrekka had begun.

Project: Lightninghammer Missile: Utilizing the recently acquired plans from the Zidagar, the missile will be based on the following design. A pursuit missile chassis will be equipped with the Miranu-modified warhead, keeping the same speed and accuracy as the original missile at the cost of increased mass. It can still be fired from the standard pursuit missile launcher. It will weigh 2 tons and causes both moderate shield and armor damage. Complete
Follow-up Project: Refitting of Miranu fleets with Lightninghammer missiles. All ships with pursuit missile launchers will now have Lightninghammers instead of the standard pursuit missiles. (This will not take effect until after the Hrekka battle concludes): (Begun: 12/9/02) (End: 12/10/02)

As Kirk walked briskly to his Crescent Warship, he opens a comm. to his supply's officer and bark out, I want all of Outpost Zachit Marines on my ship immediately! The supply officer said, Yes SIR! and barked out orders to the Marines to get to their post. The marines all arrived and lined up. Kirk paced along the line of Marines and said, This will be a battle that will send shock waves through the renegadess universe. We will take over Hrekka once we are done battling the renegades! The marines all yelled enthisuacllly. Kirk said, Now, Marines, get into my ship and prepare for departure! The marines stormed into the ships preparing for the takeover of Hrekka.
Kirk smiled to himself and said, Maybe after we are finished with the North Tip, we can go help the South Tip with the human renegades. I want this to happen after we invents a new ship.
Kirk opened a wide communciation channel and said, Ladies and gentlemen, you have all been fightring the rengades for the last several years. You all have became stronger. I am happy to announce that beginning today, a task force consisting of several carriers, gunships, Zidagars ships, and some of our ships will be battling for Hrekka today! All of the people cheered!
Kirk ssaid, Some of you might be re-assigned to Hrekka after the battle is over. Dont worry about it. In a few weeks, we will be witnessing one of the most magnificent sight, a gunship equipped with the Nebula Penetration Device will be going into the Nebula, and you will all be there to see the ship off. All of the people cheered at the prospect of seeing the ship off.
Kirk said, Now I will leave for Hrekka immediately! and turned off the wide comm. He turned to his first officer named Jim and told him to set a course for Hrekka.
As the ships went into hyper-space, Kirk left the bridge and went to practice his piloting skills. He know that hes going to need the skill.
Five Zachit Aradas and Five Zachit Fighters hypers out into the Hrekka System only to see it blazing with phase fire, Zidagar beams, and etc. Kirks Warship hypered in to the system, shields up, and weapons firing. The escorts took out fiifteen renegade aradas, and five laziras, while taking two casualties. Now the systems almost look bare.
Kirk opened an encoded channel to the Marines and said, Get ready and have your weapons on kill. The Marines replied back with Yes Sir!
Kirk turned to his first officer, and said, Get ready to dock! Jim said, Engaging impulse engines. The vibration of the ship could be felt dully, and the warship eventually docked with the spaceport. Marines, GO! Kirk ordered. The Marines got off the ships in 30 seconds and were securing the spaceport. About five hours later, the commander of the marines turned on his comm and reported to Kirk, The spaceport is secure.
Kirk slumped down in his chair with a sigh of relief, while everyone was saying the same thing. Kirk turned to his communciation officer, and said, Send a message for this system. The officer said, Ready, sire. Kirk said, Renegades, we have secured the spaceport of Hrekka! We are giving you five minutes to leave. If you dont leave in five minutes, then have a good life in a shuttle. All of the renegadesn immediately hyperspaced straight to the Rock.
Kirk said, Send an message to the Miranu Trading Council.
To: Trademaster Corzun Zah From: Kirk, Commander of the Zachit Forces Subject:Hrekka
We have secured the spaceport of Hrekka!
Thanks, Kirk.

I will post later this week. This was a half-hour of work.
------------------
OOC: Imagine my ships in the system during the raid of the Zachit on Hrekka.
IC: Myrx and his force jumped into the Hrekka system, surprised and somewhat upset the battle was almost over. "Looks like we're a little late," Myrx said into the comm, "anyways, let's finish up here." With that, 30 zidaras 20 fighters, and sixty carried fighters went into pursuit of a small group of four aradas. 30 dispersal rockets fired at almost the same time. They just about evenly fired among the four, seven to two and eight to the other two. There was a large explosion, as they were close to each other. Engulfed in debris, only two managed to return fire. One missed, the other had hit the side of a fighter. This sent it flying sideways, it returned to the zidara to recover shields. Myrx was among the fighters from the bay, as the practice battle he had earlier had renewed his control of the ship. He felt like he could almost do his best on the ship, as during the practice he was a bit rusty. He flew with a large group of eleven other fighters, he noticed a zachit pilot outnumbered by four fighters and an arada, and they engaged thier phased beamers once they were in range while the zachit launched pursuit missiles. Losing only one fighter the group became overconfident and, against Myrx's adivce, attempted to take on a warship. Myrx had a zidara, who was close by, aid in the attack. With dispersal rockets, phased beams, and pursuit missiles the warship was eventually overtaken. Although, it managed to take five fighters with its SADs. After about four more hours the Zachit had secured the station, and the remaining renegades fled for The Rock. Myrx glanced at what remained. "Report casualties," Myrx breathed into the comm, having gotten worked up in the skirmish. "I've lost my two fighters," a zidara officer reported in. "The Z.S.S Vengence has been destroyed," came in another. "Six other were destroyed in my group," Myrx said, "That makes altogether eight fighters and one zidara. Not too bad. Thanks to the assistance of the Zachit, of whom I saw none go down. Listen up. Let's get outta here." With that 29 Zidaras and 12 Z.fighters entered return hyperspace to the homeworld. Nivad grew impatient aboard his zidara. Even though it's only been an hour, outside it has been longer. He wanted this attack to start already, and end faster. He knew it wouldn't be that simple, as this war has been going on for ages. He wasn't even born when it happened, and when he thought about it, he didn't even know why. He just knew he wanted to win. Back on Zidagar, General Neb had received the hyperlink message from the Miranu. He was very pleased, and sent word for construction to start. He sent a response to the Miranu thanking them deeply for the plans, and stating that Myrx was currently in Hrekka aiding the attack. He was also informed the new zidara was finished. "What will you name it?" asked the researcher. "Oh, I don't know. Lemme see. I guess I'll call it the Zidara Mk.II." (ship loss) -1 zidara -8 z.fighters (ship construction) +25 zidaras +20 z.fighters (ship total) 488 zidaras 173 z.fighters (future constuction per RTD) 10 zidaras 15 zidara mk.IIs 10 z.fighters 10 z.missile aradas
OOC: If you think that the future construction should be different, let me know. If not, I will do it as I have posted above. Or if you think the ship loss in unfair, let me know. I think it's fair, and I had help coming up with the loss.

Multiple Warhead-Pursuit Class Capital Missile Report The completion of the MIWAP, the Leagues first true long range weapon, has proved a success in live fire trials, with the Leagues capital ships being refitted with the technology. With the basic design of 6 pursuit missiles arranged around a booster stage and significant sensor abilities, the missile is an extremely accurate and long ranged weapon. With the booster stage ability to coordinate the pursuit missiles it fires, final accuracy is extremely good. While the pursuit missiles used in the design have been stripped of normal targetting hardware and unneeded systems, the MIWAP is still fairly bulky, weighing 4 tons.

Neslaut Situation Report With Neslauts pacification, the League has decided to begin construction of new facilities on the moon, expanding those captured from the Renagades. The expanded facilities will be used as a secondary research platform for the League, mainly for looking into slightly more wilder ideas. A secondry function of the facilities shall be to probe the edge of known space, looking for new areas for the League to expand into.

Siqwe Prime Geological Report With cores dug down deep into the planets surface, an interesting discovery has been made. Among the normal carbon deposits, a form of carbon mixed with several other elements has been found, and which appears to have formed under intense pressure over thousands of years. The material is buried deeply beneath the surface, and an initial survey of the surrounding area has shown it is not too common. Tests of the limited amount of material collected have shown that despite its lightness, it is very tough. Unfortunately getting a steady supply of the material will take considerable time, and the supply will not be a lot.
Internal Development Report With the completion of the MIWAP, sights have changed to new technologies. While still focusing on missile technology, the area that is being looked at now is the very close range. It is hoped a short range defensive missile type will allow the Leagues capital ships to destroy waves of fighters without a large fighter backup, as well as defend against enemies own long range weaponry.

Saga of the Guild: Chapter 18
Munb, Dewe System
With reports coming in from Hrekka showing signs of a victory, Researcher Somm called Scientist Loeugith to his office. His friend entered, and they briefly debated as to how quickly the Zachit would be able to bypass the renegade defenses and take North Tip Station, and found little disagreement as to how many soldiers the Zachit were likely to lose in the capturing effort. Trademaster Dah had authorized Somm to give a speech when the Hrekka system was fully pacified. The Researcher, however, was more interested in his Directorate's projects.
"Is the Gunship fully prepped and ready to move out once Hrekka is secured?" inquired Lelos Somm. Loeugith nodded. Somm smiled fiercely. "Good. What I want to do, is to send that one as a scout. While it is doing this, we are going to build several more of these devices to mount to more of our ships, so as to send a complete exploratory fleet into the heart of the Ji Nebula. As we have fully corrected the design plans, the construction should not be too long in the makingI estimate 3 galactic standard weeks."
"This is doable," agreed Loeugith. "I'll get our people on it right away."
As the Scientist was leaving the office, he suddenly turned his head to look back at Lelos. "Researcher, are you planning to enter the Nebula yourself?"
Lelos Somm tapped his left temple a few times, slowly and deliberately. He suddenly straightened, and looked into Loeugith's eyes.
"We shall see."
Fridion System, Voinian Empire
A Miranu negotiation courier burst into Voinian territory in a flash of coalescing blue light. It cut power to its hyperdrive fuel cells and rerouted them to regular sublight engines. It slowly approached the Voinian outpost of Denlon, sending a message over and over again in a continuous loop which would be broken when the Voinians responded.

Myrx and his fleet returned to Zidagar with minimal losses. After he landed, it was not Nivad who came to greet him, but Neb. "Where's Nivad?" Myrx said puzzled. "He left right after you did on his attack. When I found out, he had already entered hyperspace. So, there was nothing I could do," Neb answered his tone full of grief. "I see. Tell me, where did he go? I think I will head out after him," Myrx demanded. "I believe he was enroute to <classified>. He is probably already there. On a better subject, the Miranu sent the plans for the Zidagar Missile Arada. We have built ten of these ships so far. They would, no doubt, be the best to use right now. We also have constructed fifteen Zidara Mk.IIs, the ones with four fighters onboard." Myrx thought about this, then decided, "I will take one of these. There is no need to lose them already. Besides, I am just going to bring him and the task force back." Neb led Myrx to where the new Aradas were held. Myrx got in and lifted off. Soon he was in space, readying the jump. Then he was gone.
Nivad and his fleet entered the system of Ersadt. There was great surprise as they saw a myriad of metal clumps floating around the system. This was clearly a bad sign. "I have a bad feeling about this. Stay away from that unknown substance. It is more than likely to be dangerous," Nivad commanded. Just then there was a small flash of orange, as an arada came after them. It was clearly unaffected by the mass of metal everywhere, still nobody dared to get near the objects. A few more aradas had spotted the purple ships. All ships engaged with the other strand. The first I.Arada was taken out quickly, but had taken out a Z.Fighter even more quickly. A few moments later and two more aradas were destroyed. However, they lost another fighter. A stray rockets forced another fighter to swerve to the side, but got too close to the large metal object. It beeped, and few lights flashed. It suddenly flung itself towards the fighter, and clamped itself against the hull. Two seconds later, the shields were drained from the fighter. It then exploded in bright colors, with metal flying everywhere. "All ships: Stay as far away from those bombs as posssible. Exit to the edge of the system," Nivad barked into his comm. All of the ships had fled as far way from the mines as they could, however another fighter had been destroyed by a wandering mine. Nivad was furious with himself. How could you?! Your first raid under your command, and its impossible to raid the enemy!! I can't believe this. Why me? Nivad had thought to himself. Even then, a few igazras had flown up from the planet. Nivad was not happy. (Igadzra losses) -3 I.aradas (Zidagar losses) -4 Z.fighters (ship construction) +10 zidaras +15 zidara mk.IIs +10 z.fighters +10 z.missile aradas (ship total) 498 zidaras 15 zidara mk.IIs 179 z.fighters 10 z.missile aradas
OOC: I had planned this attack before grundy had stated he would like to not be attacked while he studied for tests. If any of this seems unacceptable, please say so.
OOC: I'll let your post slide, but I have a few things to say. My ships would have stayed behind or in the mines, while launching missiles at you. You made an excellent description of the mines, though ;). Now, how many ships are in your fleet? Oh, and also, take a look at my lastest fleet stats: Ersatd Igazra:13 I. Arada:24 (just reminding you of my shipscount) ---------- As the 13 Igazras and 24 I. Aradas came up from the planet, the captain laughed.
"We will crush the Zidagar. All Igazras, fire your repuslor waves at the mines, so they move towards the enemy fleet. All Aradas, get behind the enemy and use your repulsor waves to make sure they can't go into hyperspace." The Zidagar were very slowly advancing on the Igadzra, making sure to steer clear of any mines. Suddenly, that was very hard to do, because the minefield had just occupied the same space as their fleet. Hundreds of mines started beeping, and then started flashing... (Because I don't know your shipcount, I can't say I killed any of your ships. Therefore, you will have to say how many ships I killed. Remember, you can't retreat. ---------- Development: Berserker Upgrade(tractor/repulse): complete Berserker mines: complete Igadzra Carrier: complete Igadzra shipyard upgrade: complete ---------- The shipyards of the Igadzra will now pump out 10 Igadzras and 20 I. Aradas. ---------- The first Igadzra Carrier is complete. It hasn't been tested. ---------- OOC: Tommarow, I will write up my shipcount. Maybe I can do it later today, btu I doubt it.

OOC: Some chronological things here that I hope won't be a problem.
The battle of Obutes was fought yesterday. Photonic weaponry finished yesterday , and it took one day to outfit it on my vessels.
Riomor Space rippled as the league Fleet entered the Riomor system slightly behind the Conclaves forces. Admiral Ilither, commander of the League Navy looked as reports of the carnage the conclave had done came in.
"Ilither to capital ships, fire capital missiles at the enemy capitals. Arada groups move in close. Fighter wings remain around the capitals."
The tactical plot thickened as the Leages capital ships belched their loads into space. Nothing like it had been seen before.
The missiles roared across space towards the renagade turncoats, and split into their loads. Nothing hte Turncoats could do would let them avoid the barrage, and in the first wave, 10 Turncoats vanished in balls of fire.
The League fleet moved forwards, intent on its target.
