When we research something like a new class of Corvett wink wink... we have to upgrade our whole fleet to that class right? Do we assign our own price for the fleets upgrade? Help me out here. I'm really bad at this research stuff.

Oh, i did miss that upgrade. The new Confed Cruiser price is 22M.
20M - 2.8M(patrol ships) = 17.2M
17.2 + 4.8M(Catapults) = 22M

Swithich, If you design a new class of corvette(such as taking the vette and adding more missiles or something like that), you dont have to upgrade the fleet, just give it a new name, and dont modify ships too often. It can get confusing. I dont want 86 different corvette mods running around.

To upgrade existing Corvettes would cost you the price of the extra missiles multiplied by the number of corvettes you're upgrading. Usually it's best to leave the pricing to a mod if you're new. All us Mods have a different pricing system for ships.

1: Rats I thought I snuck that through (Joking, of course but I didn't mind the delay in the least, I just found the time to check for responses).

2: I forgot to mention that I didn't believe that smaller fighters could sustain this. I was going to use it on Rapiers and larger vessels (Argosies, Corvettes etc.). At the very least I'd like to use it on Argosies and larger vessels but I'd like to have an increased shield recharge amount without my Rapiers.

3: I'll try to ambush you next time I find the time.

4: I forgot to about speed entirely, my mistake. I'd be willing to decrease speed to 220 and acceleration to the same. I reduced the armor on the base ship hinting at the cheap materials and hence increased acceleration and turning. I'm willing to decrease the fuel to perhaps 8 jumps, 12 was undoubtedly unreasonable. I think that this ship was a bad idea and I might replace it with a gunboat design.

Thank you for looking over that mess of nonsense I wrote. I plead temporary (questionable) insanity.

Switith, change the designs for the Civilian Assualt Frigate to have only 4 Neutron turrets, and 3 Neutron cannons. This should satisfy everyone. The price can then be lowered, U.E. Admiral can figure that out for us. The missile and torpedo loads will stay the same, and I will change the name to Civillain Missile Cruiser. Maybe the Assualt Frigate can be a joint operation later on...

Wouldn't Taskforce Renmei have had to cross Jadzian territory (Arrakis was conquered by the Jadzians) to get to Barnard's Star? Well, the Jadzian attack fleet isn't actually in Arrakis, I suppose.

I suppose Cheezy's fleet one system away isn't much of a deterrent. They simply don't have the numbers for that kind of fight. Same for nfreader in Antares, unless he get's his fleet money now. And with both Jimbob and Consul Bob in Propus, conveniently out of reach of Barnard, spl_cadet will go mostly unassailed for some time.

Is Halibane still in Zigra? If they've moved, they could hit Polaris, and, in theory, block the Confederates 'Bob from reaching Barnard in time.
