I'm just saying that if the people that can sign it included anybody then anybody can sign it. That way PoG users can sign it. If chaos doesn't want to change it then I will create one myself. I think he will change it though. At least I hope he will if he wants it to be successful.

I most certainly do want it to be succesful, ahem. One problem, I can't change the peteition. However, anyone can sign it anyway (even though it says you need CS or the CS demo, you don't). Long live the petition, long live CS!
EDIT: Looking pretty good, 29 sigs... Keep spamming it around!

No need for a petition, we do want for our OS X applications to work in Panther, and will be looking into this. Hang tight.

How do you intend to fix the problem though? I have heard for David Dunham that you are unable to Compile Coldstone with a newer version of RealBasic.

Hrmm... I'm keeping that petition around... I don't trust Beenox... (well, actually, I don't want the work to go to waste and it may be needed... )
Well, there was (url="http://"http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/3773")a new version of RealBASIC(/url) released today. Unfortunately, RealSoftware didn't say what the updates where.

As far as I understood this, there was a problem while recompiling it using a newer version of RB, but the people of Real Basic fixed this somewhere in july of this year.
One of the other things that may or may not be fixed do ing a recompile is the support for Quicktime on certain Windows flavors. So I really hope they fix this soon!
------------------
I hope that if beenox don't decide to update CS then they will at least hand the code over to Ambrosia who will hopefully be able to find some good C++ and RB programmers to hand it over to
EDIT: There are now 41 sigs on the petition. Yay

My problem with 10.3 and CS is that I can't play my game, period. It sits there with a window filled with white space. (I signed on too :))

I'm glad it's being looked into, because this is a very serious problem. I don't want all my work to be for nothing. I also hope this is a problem that will not return with the release of future systems (10.4 and so on). Maybe when they update it they'll add a way to change the text color...but maybe that would be too optimistic.

I think that's the problem everyone with Panther is having. It's good that you signed the petition.
And welcome to the boards CaptainKaji!

hello?
Nobody on this board can answer this, which is why nobody did. We got the message from Ambrosia's administrator. While people may complain about it, it's the reality of the situation.
