a mod i'm working on
Recemtly, I have been working on a Mod for Nova that does some things for the Vell-os. basicly, I liked the Vell-os, and i thought that they deserve more than being slaves the pass on. so, i did some things for them.
Features:
- 18 Vell-os systems
- Modifications to federation border systems for the new Vell-os government
- Warring between the Vell-os and the Federation in systems like South Manchester, VNP-001, Dellor, and more
- A closed off Vell-os hypergate network
- Repairs to all of the Polaris hypergates, adds hypergates to Mu'hari, Ver'roqi, P'aedt, and closes it off from the Federation and Auroran system
Features in later Versions:
- New ships, including the Vell-os Ballista and an unnamed Vell-os freighter
- Expansions to the Vell-os space to include the systems in the L1551 Nebulae
I will release the first version when i finish it, so i should be finish it by tomorrow.
i have screen shots -------------

How 'bout making it Windows-compatible? The plug is not rez, nor .sit, bin or .hqx. This means I get just a ._vellos file, unopenable. Use .bin.zip, its the best.
I got a similarly unusable file on OS9.
I used a .zip file, using my ibook's archiving function. I don't know how to make a .rez, and I don't know what your problem is with OS 9. In fact, I didn't know that there was a version of EVN for OS 9. i can't do much more at the moment, im at school
oh, i found that my 14" came with a copy of stuffit (stupid me XD)
Use of OS X's archive feature is prohibited by The Powers That Be (aka Zacha Pedro), as it doesn't work on Windows, OS 9, or even OS X through Jaguar. Bad idea.
Using this is a good idea.

I did. I'm just explaining why you shouldn't use OS X's Archive feature.
By the way, my link is a direct download; shameless self-promotion aside, I really do recommend it. .bin.zip is preferable to .sit or .sitx, and it takes care of the hard work for you.

"your link" shows up as a text document to me
(nitpick) Vell-os space would read better as baby blue, even if that is ostensibly the fed color. Olive just doesn't do it justice.(/nitpick)
shield bubbles are so cool...

Right click or ctrl click. Download linked file then remove the txt ending in finder.
I have no idea why it shows up as a txt document, but the above shall do the trick.

According to EVula, the Vell-os color is yellow (see the walkthrough)

Aren't the walkthroughs by Slagblah? See the bottom of the page.
Anyway, yellow does seem a fine choice -- even though I don't know that it is "canon." What is in the govt resource in Nova Data 1? It looks yellow to me, but my color vision is lousy.

Right you are, on both counts.
In any case, I can gurantee the color isn't olive.
Anyway, I didn't mean to sidetrack such a nifty thread, sorry.
