I just picked Eugene to piss him off. I suppose he's a decent pick, but I'm kind of suspicious of him actually. When the 5th proposal rolls around we'll have no choice but to accept, and meanwhile the traitors are getting a lot of info on the identities of their cohorts.

I was definitely learning how to play this game as I played it this time, and I was also pretty busy for much of the time I was playing, which prevented me from participating as much. Basically I think I could have done a much better job, even though we won. After everyone started suspecting me, I just kept my head down, though I wasn't really trying to become less suspicious. I was mostly hoping that people would keep suspecting me and that would take the heat off mrxak or SIB. I was amazed that mrxak managed to get people to accept his "choice" between me and SIB though. I've also played this game in person several times since this game started with groups of 6 to 8 people, and I think I enjoy it more in person (unlike Mafia, which is totally pointless in person.) I think this game plus those others has given me a much better basic grasp of the game, and I'm actually impressed with how well balanced it is. In the games I played in person, the innocents always had enough information to figure out who the traitors were by the 5th mission. Spies succeeded by spreading tons of bullcrap, basically. Even when spies slipped up and made a move that revealed themselves, they were often able to recover by BSing enough that people got confused. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the next game.
I've been quiet because I've been busy again (traveling to a family reunion) and also because I have become pretty confused. This proposal doesn't have JacaByte or Techarek (###### spelling that right) on it, and they're who I'm most suspicious of at the moment. I'm also still totally in the dark about croc. Anyway, I'm approving this one, so lets see what happens.
This is my response to this whole fiasco:
You look like a cool guy.
Edit: Oh, and I'm accepting this. I like this new guy, Techerakh. Or is it InfiniteCustomer? I guess he's from the wide wonderful world of IRC, which I don't really frequent.

Alright, my final proposal is this:
JacaByte still suspects me and won't say why, but I'll take the risk that he's innocent. People seem stirred up against mrxak, so I'll leave him out. Unlike mrxak, I don't think that not posting much is any indication of traitorous intent (mrxak, remember that SIB accused you of being a traitor for posting too much, and I know we both agreed that's ridiculous. This is no different.) croc hasn't done anything to make me suspicious, nor anyone else, and he was on a successful mission.
I think this proves that you're a traitor myself, but let's see what mrxak thinks.
The only person I'd credit with being clever enough to lie low on a second mission were he a traitor is mrxak. I seriously doubt that either croc or SIB are sleeper agents. If you want to replace somebody on from the second mission with somebody else from the third mission, I'd want them to replace mrxak, and only if we're absolutely sure that they're innocent. At random, if mrxak is a traitor we have a 50% chance of replacing him with somebody innocent from the pool of 4 people who were not on mission 2. If mrxak is innocent we have a 25% chance of replace him with somebody innocent. Of course you could apply this same logic to croc, SIB, and myself as well, as long as you make plans to only replace one of the people who were on the second mission.
Okay. So all you're saying is that some of these people could be guilty, and some of the other people could be guilty. I don't see how this is productive. Only replacing one person from the second mission was your idea, and I thought it was a good one. I know my own innocence with certainty, so I chose to replace the one who I was least certain about, which was SIB. If you can tell me why mrxak is more suspicious than he is, then I'll replace mrxak instead.
