Well, its taken a long time, but Im finally getting round to reworking Ewan's Lair. I have uploaded el3 (the new interface) to the (url="http://"http://www.evula.org/ewan/")old site(/url). I had secured a new location at NorthernSwamp (due to the lamentable amount of space I get at EVula.org), but it has been down for ages now and I cant get hold of Jager! So until I can get something worked out (EVula?) the Strata download wont be available and many of the new planned features will not be implemented (texture depot, plug-in recycling yard, etc).
At the moment, there are no resources up (unfortunately), but there is a good reason for this - I dont have them anymore! I seem to have lost all the resources I had from Ewan's Lair over the past few months - geez am I embarrassed
So, here is my plea - if you have ever downloaded any of the ships, models, or anything at all from Ewan's Lair and still have them kicking around, then please let me know! I might have some stuff backed up on a CD somewhere, and will be spending tonight looking through my cds for them, but to be honest I dont hold much hope... :frown:
Well, thats about it. I will be getting more of the pages complete tonight and tomorrow, and the site should be fully complete by next Friday (including some new content for EV and EVO developers). Let me know what you think of the new interface before its too late!

Could you perhaps put a list of the missing resources up on your site? I've got a lot of stuff I've grabbed off of a wide range of EV sites, and I don't always keep perfect track of what was from where.

The new interface looks nice, but it is a little bright for an EV-related site. Perhaps use the same design but on a black background?

Well, you see, the last 2 versions of the site were on a black background (red/grey on black then shades of orange on black). To be honest I just fancy a change. Also, I don't see why everyone uses black backgrounds just because EV is a space orientated game... it just seems all so drab...

Erm... the IE web archive of the tutorial would be very useful, but dont bother about the light file. If I remember correctly it wasnt that good anyway Im currently writing a lighting tutorial for Strata to replace it anyway Glad it helped you in some way though!
