About an hour after the Federation ships blasted off to Emnin, the Edien reinforcements arrived. This boost in ships took thier numbers to about 80,000. Grunadulater dispatched the fleet to Emnin but did not bring the Demon and about 10,000 ships. He knew what the Feds were doing, and it would be so easy to stop it. As your nation as probabily already received a message from the Federation government, a great threat has destabilized the equilibrium in te Milky Way. The Solidarity-council has decided to support the Federation and the Voinian by sending the Savior to the battle field. I do not have to stress that the WHG project has been halted and will start has soon has the Edien vessel had beem destroyed. All scientist are continuing their work on Grenits and all plans of the Savior have been kept in a secret vault, so that if it was to be destroyed, it can be reconstructed.
In order to minimize the probability of destruction of the Savior and ameliorate our chances to anhiliate the DEMON, the Solidarity-council asks one last time your technological help: the stealthy dezigned shield that you have invented would be immensly useful to defend the Savior. Not to say that the faster the Horoth help, the faster the Horoth Ťget their money backť...

The message stunted the Solidarity-council. Though the Savior is under heavy construction in order to realize a functional worm0hole generator, in less than eleven days, it will be ready to undertake the challenge. In order to do so, the Solidarity-council has halted the work abort the Savior on the WHG and all scientists went on Grenits to continue on a theoretical basis the work. During the next week, more four shielding capaciators will be added, energy cable to aliment shield regenerators will be solidified in order to accept more power from the many kinetic powerplants abort.
Currently, the armament abort the Savior is of 54 fighters, 15 multi-kinetic torpedo turrets, 30 Tachy-knietic turrets that are almost all installed. 54 fighters will follow the Savior and will be replaced constantly by the other 54 that are in the bays.

The Savior was now a messy vessel 2 000 workers were working day ans night in order to make the ship work as well as possible in less than ten days. The work on the small station had been stopped and all welders were working on plating the WHG assembly in order to protect it from Edien blasts. In the facturies of Grenits, the Tachy-kinetic canons and turrets were under mass production to equip all squadrons that would leave along the Savior. Everything possible was done to make the Solidarity a creat a powerful fleet: more ships were to be constructed: the fast and agile Fighter and the rapid Frigate.
Three exercices had been done in order to prepare the seven squadrons of fighters that would follow in all time the Savior. Seven squadrons of destroyers (42) and six quadrons of frigates (30) were also preparing themselve to the batlles. All of them will be equiped with the Tachy-kinetic canons and turrets. All the other will wait until the one above are fitted to be upgrade and possibly join the Solidarity Armada.
In one of the newpapers of Sladeria, one could read the following poem that Leonard Cohen, a human poet had written centuries ago on Earth:

"This is Nova6, send 40,00 ships and 2 Dreadnoughts over to the Federation immediately. They may be needing our help. Also, start gathering a fleet in the Emalghion system."

Nova sat back in his chair and picked up a data pad which containd the information for a new research project, the Distruption Web. Nova pressed a button on his desk consol and an ensign entered the room. Nova gave him the pad.
"Start work on this immediately!"

The Ensign turned and walked away, and Nova sat back in his chair, and thought about his empire, the Fedration, the Ediens, and how much longer this war would last...
Research Project Initiated Name: Distruption Web ETC: 5 posts Desc: The Distruption Web is a device capable of blocking enemy fire or encasing enemy vessels. It has 2 modes of fire: Shield and Encase. Shield mode, when fired, erects a energy wall which blocks enemy fire and ships to protect reteating units or to protect a fleet so they can regroup. Encase mode, when fired, creates a large field completly encompassing an enemy fleet or ship. The ship or fleet within the field can move around inside the field, but they cannot exit until the field is fired on enough to collaps it (but that is hard), or wait until the field disapates. The field will be equiped on a converted Voinian Heavy Destroyer. The converted HD will be a Support Cruiser and carry lots of missles, some turrets, and the distruption web. The Support Cruiser will stay in back of the fleet and fire missles for support, hence the name "Support Cruiser". The Support Cruiser will be researched along with the distruption web.

On the Akrahd/Horoth border, dozens upon dozens more ships had been moved up. The border was now just one big explosive, ready to go off at any time. The Akrahd had ceased all raids to conserve ships. They fortification efforts were complete. Shipyards continued to churn out ships.
Meanwhile, researchers had begun work on creating a new type of weapon; the Plasma Railgun. It was essentially a very big, very powerful, very slow firing gun which had a lot of range and power. It was to be fitted on both Akrahd Battleships and Akrahd Carriers, and possibly on the Akrahd Destroyer, though that was improbable. This came shortly after the Akrahd Mining Department issued an order to conserve as much raw materiels as possible. The Akrahd were soon going to be unable to produce ships at the rate they once were, and though they would still remain cheifly on ship numbers, they had to improve the quality of their ships.
The Plasma Railgun worked by firing supercompressed heated plasma in a special shell at a target. The shell would disintigrate on impact, releasing all of the plasma, which in turn created a lot of damage when the plasma ignited. The weapon would have extreme range though it was big, heavy, and slow firing. Research would take approximately 5 or 6 posts.
Meanwhile, Scorcher was getting impatient with the Sladerei. They had not sent a message that really confirmed that the Savior was coming. So, Scorcher sent another message to them, saying that if they wanted to help they would have to come now.

The Savior is ready to come and support the Federation/Voinian attacks against the Edien Empire's bases in the Milky Way. It is no more in Grenits's orbit and will be in a few day in Federation space. Its escort i7 squadrons of fighters, 6 of destroyers and 5 of frigates. Not much, but still they are now equiped with the new Tachy-kinetic gun which is pretty fast and ready to warm-up Edien buts...
The Savior was flying towards the Edien border knowing that the Edien would be surprised to see the new ship, well the two century old ship they had allowed to escape. Psack was worried about the Horoth that did not care about the Edien menace, which they could face in the Andromeda galaxy. A meeting on Grenits with the Horoth ambassador was needed.
There were now 60 Izars, and the Templar had been prepared. With 260 ships and the Templar, the IGNA armada was slowly being restored.
The glorious Templar, captained by Commander Evaniol, was on regular patrol duty now.
Meanwhile, the two projects, Citadel and Oloni, had begun.

Xenoarcheologist Jeffery Brackman looked over the gravimetric scanner printout on the Tosa Sencarta Ruins in the Coron system. Jeff and his team had been working here for months trying to full excivate and catalogue the Tosa Sencarta Ruins. These ruins had apparently been built by an ancient alien civillization that died out over a century ago. Brackman believed that Coron was probably a retreat for alien monks. The rest of the race probably resided either in the nebula to the north or somewhere to the south, where they may have fallen victim to an Akrahd conquest.
Suddenly, Jeff heard a yell from someone. "Hey! Jeff! Hey! Come over here!" Jeff instantly was on his feet running over to the source of the yell. It turned out to be his wife Jessica. Panting over to her, Jeff looked at what his wife was doing. "What is it?" he asked.
Jessica held up a piece of alien technology. Jeff picked it up and looked at it. "Where did you find it?"
"Right here," Jessica said, pointing to where she'd been digging. "I saw it glinting in the sunlight. What is it?"
"I think it's a datachip," Jeff said. "Come one, let's plug it into my computer."

Jeff looked at the analysis of the datachip in his ship, a Miranu courier, along with David; another member of his team. They had accessed the data in the chip, but it was in an alien language. So, they were waiting for the universal translator to process the information.
Finally, it appeared...
David and Jeff both read through it, pure excitement running through their veins. Jeff put on a confused look. "This isn't related to the ruins at all! It's a technilogical manifest!"
David looked through it, his eyes peering at the letters. "Most of this technology is outdated, but a lot of the non-war related techs look quite interesting. There is a lot of stuff in here that could help with sensors, hyperspace travel, shielding technology, and other sorts of stuff! Too bad it doesn't give the specs, just a list."
Jeff thought. "You know, what if their is more technology here?"
"You know, you're right!" David said. "We should tell others about this!"
The two nodded in agreement and went off to send a message...

The Federation fleet finally couldn't run anymore and simply headed off for Notil. Outrunning the Edien ships, they arrived at Notil and waited for the inevitable Edien attack...
Meanwhile, the Savior was quickly escorted by over 100 Federation ships to Notil. They would soon arrive, and the Sladerei would get their first taste of revenge.
At the same time, the Federation (in a show of good faith to the refugees in the new galaxy) sent designs for their high-level military class shipyards would could produce twice as fast as any other shipyard in the New Galaxy. Unfortunately, they would not help very much in the matter of Supercruiser and Dreadnaught class vessels, seeing that the Federation simply did not have any supercruiser or dreadnaught vessels, and the Voinians were loath to give away their secrets in that area.
Meanwhile, Lars had completed work on upgrading the sub-space inhibitor, and was now working on expanding his empire and working on a new dreadnaught class of ship. Preliminary designs were made and would be completed in another 4 posts. Construction would take much longer.
PIRATE DREADNAUGHT PROJECT COMPLETION: 4 Posts
Everyone abort the Savior was worried, what the Federation had said about the Edien Dreadnaught was not pretty sweet. Ready to be used in combat, the Savior was standing proud in the deep vaccum.
Psack was abort the Savior, when he received the message from the Federation announcing the discovery of the alien "knowledge card". The respond was easy to do: the Solidarity-council would decide to send an archeological team in order to find out where they were from and what good things could be discovered.
A day later, the Solidarity-council had decided to send a Diplomatic mission with the scientific one. A frigate, four fighers and three freighters would jump into the "new galaxy" to improve and create new links between the Sladerei and the others.
On Grenits, the Solidarity-council had approve a reasearch to improve the shielding capacities of the Sladerei ships. The method to use would be an active one: the shielding fields would be oriented towards ennemy fire to better protect the ship. In three weeks, the scientists had promised, the system would be ready to test on a fighter.
The ITA decide after much thought to send a group of researchers to Coron, who head off on their way in two Miranu couriers.
They reach Coron after a long trip, and begin examining the planet. They begin with a widewave sensor sweep, then start examining areas systematically, using mass scanners and particle sensors, so far discovering nothing.
Their relatively small team (although probably larger than Red's team, since you don't fit much in three fighters) is due to the fact that most Igadzra are currently working on colonising Oloni or building the Citadel. In fact, NO ship construction is going on in the meantime.
Commander Evaniol of the IGNA has moved in with the Templar and fifty other IGNA ships to try and secure Appnyl until the Citadel is complete, although they are unlikely to be targetted so far away from Akrahd or pirate space.

The Sladerei Solidarity is taking the time to enlarge its connections throughout the two galaxies. The Sladerei is working on a worm-hole generator which should be able to transport the S.S.S. Savior to the Andromeda galaxy. I have to mention that the worm-hole is orientable and we will aim towards a "secured" area, according to Horoth data. The main goal of this trip is to discover whether or not the Horosk exists, one of our ancient neighbor before the Solidarity decided to fly away because of the Edien invasion. If you wish to participate in anyway to the project, your help is welcome. If you do not intent to participate, there will be room for a Kayan diplomatic team abort the S.S.S. Savior.
The Solidarity will set an ambassy on New Kayia, as soon as the Diplomatic mission arrives.

The work done on Grenits to ameliorate on a theoretical basis the WHG was slow. Most of the scientists were happy because of the possibility to go outside to free their mind. They had resolved the problem with the tachyon emitters and were ready to test them when the Savior would be back. The team working on the energy resources found out that there was an enormous amount of neutrons that were lost, more than expected. Those if they were capable of being "recycled" could supply the lacking energy they needed.
The project was to make those neutrons synthetize in tachyons or to be able to creat sub-space turbulance. If the fusion of billiards of neutron at five thousands kilometers in from of the Savior was possible, would disturb the sub-spce and creat a bubble around the ship and permit a longer WH without an increase in power availability. In three weeks, the data would be given to the lab team in order to make that machinery work.
The station had started again its farms and was equipping them with the two turrets in order to increase the system defenses in Grenits. T One out of two would be equiped with the long range tachyon turrets and could be remotely commanded from grenits, even if they have an automatic mode. The rythm of production was slower in order to let move material to the military complexe that would use it to replace the ships that escorted the Savior.

All IGNA and civilian Igadzra shipyards were now being upgraded, and this would be complete shortly after Oloni and the Citadel.
Igadzra was on the mend quickly, and with the excavations at Koron coupled with extensive aid from the Federation, they would soon be able to show the Akrahd just who they were, and what came of messing with Igadzra.
In fact, things were even better than anyone thought possible. Funds had recovered a bit now with the lack of ship construction, and with the high emergency higher taxes became possible...just for now.
The ITA and IGNA were becoming strong seperately. Kedan was becoming a strong ITA base, protected by Miranu, and with the lack of Akrahd counter-strikes, IGNA was growing back up to it's old glory. Once Oloni was colonised - the planet being Triam Rios - the ITA would have a powerful grip over economy in the area. IGNA too would have shipyards on Oloni that nigh on matched the Gateway.
And the Citadel would be powerful enough to hold off most Akrahd assualts. With the Templar back online, and Igadzra ships already swarming around their space, the IGNA Armada was once again becoming a major force.

Thunder looked over his messages, as he did every afternoon. Most of it looked routine - a couple funding authorization requests from the Senate, a pair of personal letters, nearly a dozen messages from various civilian activist groups - but one message stood out. A message from a race known as the Sladerei. The Kayans knew little of them, only that they were working with the Horoth and were present in the Milky Way galaxy. Thunder quickly read through the message, and then called in his scientific advisor to ask for a little advice. Finding that they were in agreement, Thunder proceeded to have a short conference with the Senate science division (via holovid), before scrolling out a response.

Lars continued building up his empire, his fortifications, and his battleship. He almost never slept, just kept working, sending orders, starting building operations. Some considered him a madman. He was, in truth, a madman yes. But THIS madman was the leader of a Pirate empire which would stop at nothing to destroy all and become the rulers of the New Galaxy...
The war continued on in the Zidagar sector, with no sides giving up. More ships poured in, more vessels were manned, more troops were deployed. Battle after battle after battle after battle... The war seemed like it would have no end.

The Akrahd continued on building, their shipyards still working fast. A new system was colonized, and was, most importantly, filled with ore rich asteroids. As mining operations and new resource conserving operations went into effect, the Akrahd were hopeful that they could still stand up to all of the larger governments in the New Galaxy and hopefully one day conquer them all... Maybe...
Federate raids on Edien systems were becoming even more frequent as the Edien fleet, including the Dreadnaught attacked the Mark system, destroying the station but finding that the Federation had moved out to Notil. Now was the question on whether or not the Ediens would attack...
At the same time research on the Federation Juggernaught was complete and shipyards were beginning to produce the new vessels. Though it would take time, soon there would be enough Dreadnaughts to give the Federation a nice advantage over the Edien hoards...
On New Kayia, the Sladerei Mission had investigated its first locals in the galaxy. The ambassy was small, less than thirty people would work in it through the years. When all the informatical connections had been done, Grimet Dall sent this message to the Kayan.

We are pleased to know that the Kayan are interrested in the worm-hole generator (WHG). The Sladerei Solidarity is a nation that has travel a lot in the last two centures: the Edien Empire has colonized and enslaved our homeworld after our departure to stay free. By using an earlier model of today's worm-hole generator, the Solidarity has been able to do much longer hyperjumps and end-up in the Milky Way. This is our history form our departure form the andromeda galaxy to today.
This morning, Tory Kil, a representant of the WHG-council, has suggested a meeting with Kayan specialists. He said that the research team lacks the knowledge in long distance effects of a worm-hole travel: how can we stabilize the worm-hole. Kil thinks that those kinds of problem must have been solved in order to travel to here. Unfortunately, the use of the Kayan Firefly will not be possbbile because of the WHG has to move with the ship in order to keep the worm-hole form collapsing.
I will leave Kayan space in about a week to continue the Diplomatic mission. Any requests from the Kayan government will be received at teh Sladerei Solidarity ambassy and tramsitted to me, in the near future or the Solidarity-council on Grenits.
The Solidarity-council had decided to send more Sladerei to the New Galaxy in order to construct new ambassy to keep-up with those new nations. The isolation of the Solidarity during all those years had unabled them to measure the potential of international relations. Three more ships were sent to the other galaxy and the scientific part of teh mission was delayed by two weeks.
Around Grenits, the Station was now construction at a rate of three space-farms per month. The stellar defense had been tested and worked well the long range Tachy-kinetic turrets were effetive and accurate. The Solidarity council had decided to develop the Station more in order to supply more space to the industries: more space on Grenits would be available to house Sladerei.
A new project had been initiated in order to increase the sizes of the eight cities which were already full. The Sladerei architects and other planers did not like to cram buildings togetter. In about three weeks, each city would have twenty percent more decontaminated soils to build.
Abort the Savior, the tension was rising, the effort put in the five days to renovate the ship had not been used for the last two weeks. The Savior was a sitting dock like around Grenits, but could not be uprgraded in order to ameliorate its capacities and work on the WHG. Psack had made a speech that slowed down his troops's expectations, but they still wanted their revenge.
The time had come. After an almost successful rebellion on Kedan, the IAC had ordered the IGNA armada to move into Kedan, and begin an assualt on Zidagar space. Of course, the benefits of the operation would all go the ITA, to Evaniol's disgust.
Two hundred IGNA vessels, including the Templar, were sent off to Kedan to meet with the eighty Miranu ships already there.
Meanwhile, the work on Coron still continued, with no results. The researchers were being to think that they wouldn't find something. If they didn't find anything in a few days, they would give up.
Meanwhile, both the ITA and IGNA were happy to announce that their projects were near completion. Triam Rios would be a major industrial centre matched only in Igadzra terms by the Gateway, and the Citadel would be a defensive structure more powerful than the Templar.
With the IAC report that the Federation shipyards would also be completed and installed within a week, Igadzra refugees had poured back to their previous homes. The Igadzra would live.
