We still need a second Confed and maybe a second Rebel before we can start this thing and not worry about it dying due to lack of players... A couple Mercs would be nice too...

I can't get the map to load, all I get is a notebook with weird writing, is there a way to load it or does it only run on mac. (I have one so its not a problem.)

Can I change my pick, I was kind of torn between taking a pirate planet and an indepentant government. If its okay with you, and since we haven't started yet, can I have Zaxted instead. I won't change again, but I'm really feeling like taking my own government. And while I'm at this, I'll post a topic on EV Banter and Brawl letting everyone know this is going on so we can fill up the rest of the slots.

I have never played a rpg like this before. Also I had to change computer to a Dell :frown: so no more EV on the hard drive. So will ther be a online map. I will be willing to fill any position need but Favor rebels. Also as stated before a newbee at this so might need help

Swithich, I think we have enough new governments. It would be better if you stayed on as a pirate. Lethe or New Cydonia would be viable though.
Omran Khan, if you will read the above posts you will see that there is indeed an online map. The story is open to anyone that will post at least once a day. I am sure we wont have any problems showing you the ropes of things. I would suggest doing a search for "Eve of Destruction" on the EVO board. That would be a good place for you to get the general idea of what goes on here. If you have any questions during the story, feel free to email me. So, what possition exactly were you looking for?

I read Eve of Destruction a bit. One question you said technologies research and building will take real time. So how will I know how much time a technology will take to be researched or built? Also are we limited to the technology in EV or can we develop new technologies?
The research is free, meaning that you can research just about anything that isn't too overpowered.
The problem is is that some webstories are rather vague about the power of their weapons (EVO's Horizon webstories, for example), so I can't give you a working example.
As for research time, you just assign a number you think is good. If it's too long or too short, a Moderator will tell you.
