DeadBeat buys a huge pit-bull and calls him Fluffy. DeadBeat hopes Fluffy can meet Furball some day.
DeadBeat catches up with Aaron's fleet after a full day at light speed. He runs into the command room to debrief the commanders on the attack plan.
DeadBeat: Phase 1: The pirates are really aggressive so we'll set up space mines in a long horizontal line and demand tribute. Be aware that once the pirate defence fleet is sent out there won't be much time until phase 2. Phase 2: Once the pirates get within missile range we will feign a retreat. When the pirate's hit the space mines the fleet will split into 3 groups. Phase 3: The first group will do a 360 turn and face the pirates. The 2 other groups will veer of to flank the pirates. These groups will then advance destroying the remaining pirate ships.
Commander: Will this work?
DeadBeat: You better hope so. You're dismissed.

The Confederate fleet reaches Lethe Prime. Beeblebrox noticed a battle between Lethe and Cydonian ships. He thinks "I really should conquer this planet one of these days" They then jump of to Privateer's Haven.

The pirates send out their defence fleet but only the lightnings make it out of the docking bay. With DeadBeat's codes the fleet overrides the docking release. The front few slam into the mines and are killed. The remaining 8 avoid the mines and go after group 1 but are jumped from behind by the other 2 groups. Each Warbird picks a target and fires a nuke. All enemies are destroyed. The station overrun by Jadzian troops and locking out weapons lockers and other commands(again with DeadBeat's codes). "GET TO PHASLIFE (SP?) NOW!" Zamix screams at his pilot. Zamix mutters under his breath, "We'd better get there before the confeds. attack," as they hyperspaced back the way they just came.
ps. I'm pretty sure the confeds are attacking . . .I'm postive, I haven't heard anything about since page 3.

The Mercenary fleet entered the New Antigua system. Immediately a fleet of 60 or more Rapiers were launched from the moon and began to scream towards the mercenaries in three 15-ship attack prongs.
Den'Zar was ready for them.
Immediately the Argosy began laying down a spread of missile fire to cover the fleet as the Corvettes ignited their afterburners and speeded forwards. All four headed towards the center prong. Once they were close enough, each corvette launch a space bomb, then fired their reverse engines, turned around, and headed away full speed. The bombs drifted forward and the lead Rapiers, unable to stop in time, barely managed to avoid striking the floating warheads. The next few Rapiers were not so lucky.
Four rapiers were vaporized instantly, and three others were blown apart, sending fire and debris into the surrounding vessels as more of the heavy fighters were engulfed in the expanding fireball. By the time the explosion had subsided, there wasn't a functional rapier left in the center attack wave.
Meanwhile, the Kestrels unleashed a wave of Heavy Rockets and Torpedoes into the other two prongs. As the Pirate Rapiers scattered to avoid being struck and annihilated, the Corvettes and Argosy finished pulling back into the main formation of the Kestrels, and as a whole the fleet began to back up.
The Pirates followed, closing in from two angles on the sides. On que, the Kestrels launched their compliment of Lightnings, making 10 Lightnings in all. The heavy fighters split up into two waves and moved around to the sides. As the Rapiers got closer to the main fleet and began firing with heavy rockets, the Lightnings unleashed a wave of 20 heavy rockets almost simoltaneously into the Rapiers. The resulting havoc was nearly catistrophic as almost a dozen Rapiers were sent into spinning, burning wrecks. What was left of the wings made a last charge into a line of Kestrels and Corvettes, and was almost instantly repelled by waves of Javelin rockets and sprays of laser and proton bolt fire. Only 10 Rapiers managed to pull back and requested reinforcements.
Ten more Rapiers and five corvettes were launched, and, after joining up with the the remnants of the first wave of Rapiers. Together, they made a mad charge for the center of the Mercenary line, firing torpedoes and missiles as they went.
The bridge of the Nemesis shook as missiles and torpedoes blasted into the shields. "Fire RCS thrusters and move us away from the Pirate fleet immediately! Full impulse!" Den'Zar ordered.
The Mercenaries turned around and blasted away as fast as they could, chased by a swarm of torpedoes and missiles which quickly reached their ranges and self-detonated, causing no damage. The Mercenaries then turned back to face them and the two fleets were engulfed in waves of proton and laser blasts, when suddenly the Pirate were hit from behind by the Lightnings. The Pirates had forgotten about the Mercenary fighter-bombers, who had unleashed all their remaining missiles. As Rapiers dropped like flies, the corvettes tried to pull back, but were instead met with a fusillade of laser fire which tore apart their remaing armor. As the corvettes exploded and disintigrated, the Mercenary fleet plowed through the wreckage towards the moon of New Antigua. Coming within range, the Corvettes descended and disgorged dozens of troops which quickly subdued the Pirates, who were not very combat-worthy as land troops.
New Antigua was theirs, and at no real losses, except for the Argosy, which was disabled, and heavy damage to several Kestrels and Corvettes.

OOC: Beeblebrox, that post of yours is positively one of the worst battle posts I've ever scene. I'm not trying to get personal, but you really have to go into more detail than that. How many ships attacked? How did you get there?
Story problems aside, a single nuclear warhead will not destroy an entire continent. Even Fusion Bombs can't destroy that much. You'd have to carpet bomb the entire continent with layers of Fusion Bombs to get that kind of effect, and to do that, you'd need a fleet of bombers, and you'd probably get picked off by planetary-based cannons and missiles and such.
Also, if everybody could give me a report on who controls which systems, I could make and continually update a map for this webstory. It would probably help out a lot.

As the Jadzian Warbirds pulled away and began their trip back to Jadzia, a shadowy figure approached Carnotaur from behind and handed him a datapad. "Are they there?" Carnotaur asked.
"Yes," the shadowy, cloaked figure responded. "The entire designs for the Jadzian Warbird. I scanned the vessels while their sensors were down during the maintenance check."
"Very good, Scorcher."
Hearing of the Confederate attack on Palshife, Carnotaur's fleet departed from New Antigua. They had seized several Pirate ships, and thus Carnotaur split up his fleet. His fleet, the Death's Head Fleet, was to head on towards Palshife. Renegade Fleet would stay at New Antigua.

OOC: I believe it would be best to revoke the nuke-dropping part, and also ask him to make the post more detailed. However, he could drop a few space bombs on Palshife, but it wouldn't do a lot.

The Confederate fleet calmly leaves the Satori system and heads for the system of NGC-4812.
DeadBeat arrives at New Bavaria to collect his payment. After recieving his money he asks "Are there any other jobs Aaron has availible for me?" "I'll check." Aaron's secretary slowly answers back. DeadBeat heads to the bar to wait for the news.

i read the story. and i for one have no interest in having a map. But to humor you slightly: i control Nexus, Pelegon, Zebetrious and Jadzia. Stardust controls the rebels, and Beeblebrox controls the confeds. i took both pirate stations and have turned them into stardocks beta and theta. The confeds have launched an attack on evildrom and havnt said a word about it for a while. happy?
