2- I am as much a 12 year-old girl then you are a mercenary general. Lyra is my character, it is who I am on the boards, not in life. I was just saying that I would rather have my character in the webstory be who I am here; I don't want any confsion as to who I am (wait, I dont?) However, it would be OK that you alter my person's age and gender, though I would MUCH rather prefer that it be kept the same.
3- GR, Is it OK if I use your name as the evil Pirate general in my chronicles? I just wanted to know. Yes, you DO die in the end, but then again, so do I, so... thats not so bad. He's the big "villian" of the story, and one of the top characters, too. Then again, I could always give it to someone else if you don't want it.

Well, it would seem a bit odd, but it is your character. I would advise you to use a generic character.

This is pretty much a definition flame. I'll probably edit this post out after you've seen it, because I don't want the all caps flame in here. A post in all CAPS is about the worst possible form here. I don't know how you can flame without intent to, but I guess I'll take your word on that this time.

Good to have another player on board, but if I may ask, what side are you joining exactly? And I imagine your applying for a fleet command poition as there is precious little else. Also, you could always get a free hotmail account, if the aol thing looks like its going to take a long time, for viewing previous BFS's it sure looks like a big problem if you can't edit your own posts.
But anyways, earlier on in this topic (on this page I think) I posted a list of all the current members, so if you have a question about who the leaders of the different governments are, just refer to that.

Let's just drop it, this topic isn't really appropriate for this sort of discussion. Again, which race are you joining? Dreden Rebellion is closed, Aliens or pirates preferred.
Pirates would definitely be preferred, seeing as how the HC and Aliens both have 5 players and the Dreden have 6, whereas the pirates only have two players. By the way, are either of thsoe two players the leader, or is that slot still open?

You really are touchy aren't you? What Rak said was a joke, and again, that really looked like a flame to me, any kind of public insulting is pretty much a flame as far as I know. Of course, if you add those little smilies after, thats what designates something as a joke.
And what do you mean about getting credit? If your referring to what Rak said earlier, I think he meant only regarding his personal feelings towards you. Otherwise, anyone can come in and take a fleet command position, and their leaders will assign them ships and a rank at or near the begining if the webstory.
I believe you could join the Aliens, they have 5 players as of present, also, the HC and Dreden combined have 11 players, but in the begining of the story, they won't know of each other, so they won't immediately be allies. Just so you know, Shade is the Alien Emperor, and as such will be your superior, along with anyone else he appoints over you.
PS: What kind of webstory experience do you have Corey? And who were the people that were willing to volunteer for pirate duty? (Though I understand that won't become necessary until the very start of the webstory when we will know for sure who is in and who isn't.)

Just curious... What's YOUR standpoint in this? I mean to say, you could be a pirate, there is a severe lacking in that department. Aliens are still open, but Dreden rebellion is closed off. And I THINK they might be able to take on a couple more in HC, but its adviseable that you join pirates or Aliens.
