Macavenger decides to prove how stupid the Confederates are. So he gets a Rent-A-Shuttle and plugs a single hand blaster into one of the gun ports. He then flies up and destroys two of the Confederate Cruisers by Monty Pythoning them.
"Tactic's a little beneath me, but it's a good demonstration of how stupid they are," he says on landing.
But those were Pepsi Cruisers! There aren't any Feds in orbit! Look out! It's raining Roach Juice! Everyone get inside!
The Hunter holds the door for the people who are outside so they can (duh) get in

Overrider fires coke at the pepsi fleet and than shoots his phased acid blasterลฝ at the fleet.
Everyones attention was turned to the pepsi fleet and NO ONE! noticed the incoming pirate fleet coming from behind.

Overrider; fresh out of coke ran to the vender machine and filled his coke shooter with ammo. while it was loading Overrider looked out the Window and saw the pirate fleet. "Skyblade! There's a fleet of pirates coming!" Overrider shouted as he throws his coke shooter to Insano to help him finish the pepsi fleet as he takes out his acid blaster for the pirates. "Anyone not fighting the pepsi help me kill the pirates!"
"Hunter, go get 'em in your Courier!" Hunter takes out an Argosy then goes to fight a Kestrel. Insano doubts the small explosion was a lightning. Insano fires a little more at the Pepsi fleet until they start to retreat. He then hops into his Reb Cruiser and fires away.
I finally got The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide. Took me long enough. But, there's 6 books instead of 5. How did that happen? And, I just realized how many systems in EV came from HHGTTG. As well as things from other sci-fi series. Ever heard of Stargate? Well, there's a race called the Asgard in it. There's a place called Asgard in The Restaurant at the End of The Universe. Hmm...
Macavenger sighs and hops in his customized fighter, which is being considered by Rebel High Command for production. It has 4 Laser Cannons, 2 Missile Launchers and 6 Missiles, 2 Javelin Pods and 250 Javelin Rockets, and is faster and morea Manta. Obviously expensive, but good.
Flying out, bored, he vaporizes two Lightnings before they realized they were in trouble, then goes and engages 3 Kestrels simultaneously for an encore. Sadly, by the time they are all dead most of his ammo was used up. he fires his 3 remaining Missiles at a Lightning, disabling it, and kills it with one pass on his lasers, then goes down to rearm.

Insano, with his 64 proton turrets, 7 laser turrets, 8 proton cannons, 7 laser cannons, and 10 neutron blasters armed, goes after the kestrels and starts to pound them. Yes, I really have all that stuff in EV. And I did it without a cheat plug. I have other stuff too, like 999 missles and torps.
BS. Even with that plug conflict thing, there's no way you could get 64 Proton Turrets without cheating. You really need to do away with that conflict anyway. Play the game like it was meant to be played, otherwise, it's just stupid.
No, I really did with the plug conflict. OH, I remember how it happened now! I used the Star Wars plug and it lets my have 64 turrets. Then, when I transfered back over I still had them. See, I did do it w/o cheating.
No, that is cheating, abuse of plugs. Now stop it. You'll never learn to fly right that way, and you'll get creamed badly in Nova or probably even Override.
Macavenger, I'm probably never even going to be able to play Nova. You know why? Becase I'm using an emulated mac that runs very slowly. Override is almost unbearable becasue it runs so slowly, even with the game speed maxed out. So, I really hold no regard for Nova. And, I think you're jealous just because it didn't happen to you. The glitch happened after I got my Reb cruiser. And, I call doing the confed missions then buying a rebel ship from the glitch cheating. Abuse of programming glitches. Mac, I'm sure you've done that. So, we're cheaters together. One last comment. I can fly w/o the glitch.

The pit crew comes out, and takes 15 seconds this time, because they stopped to add an attachment so Skyblade can fire the contents at the invading Pepsi fleet.
Meanwhile, Macavenger gets his fighter rearmed and goes up to down some more Kestrels.
Insano hops into a courier. "Look at me! I'm The Hunter!"

"Well, you're wrong, I samcked right into a Lightning that had just come out of the Kestrel, the explosion was the Lightning blowing up, the even smaller explosion following that my Proton Turret exploding."
The Hunter restles with his controls, and barely is able to land his damaged Courier in the Boozerama area. He thanks the Salmon in the sky that he bought Fire Extinguisher, he takes out the FE and puts out his flaming craft
"Blasted stupid PiratePepsi Lightnings! He stripped off my Proton Turret and a good deal of armor!"
The Hunter hurries into the ship outfitting warehouse, and pays the Repair guy double as incentive to work faster, the Courier's shields and armor are repaired in 47 minutes, and it takes another 30 minutes to put on a new Proton turret, then The Hunter takes off in his Courier and lands back at the Bar
"The good thing about Couriers is that they're easy to repair."
Skyblade, in a fit of rage because of the pirate attack, steals a Defender (before remembering the days when they were used for target practice back in the days of training) and attacks the pirate fleet. The Triton Corsair was five minutes from the bar, so Skyblade couldn't get there in time.
But Skyblade then notices that the tips of the Defender are covered with Tritanium. He then runs through the shields of pirate vessels, which he then proceeds to wreck huge holes throughout the entire fleet.
"Now this is a tactic we could use against the 'Feds...Oh, by the way Mac, your pit team set a new record. Fifteen seconds ain't bad!"

The Hunter gets in his Courier and follows Skyblade's path of destruction. Hunter takes otu a couple ships by shooting laser cannons and his proton turret bolts into the weakened areas and holes caused by Skyblade
