Insano wakes up sticky, but it doesn't bother him as he's used to it. He walks back in and challenges Macavenger to a game of chess. But it doesn't work very well because all the pieces get stuck to his hands.

Well, to bring Moose up to speed, Skyblade came to BBII too, and threatened to blow it up if we didn't bring him Dr. Pepper, so since then we've been focusing more on the Dr. Pepper vs. Roach Juice (aka Pepsi aka Confederate Cola) battle, and have fought off some fleets trying to bring it to the bar. We've also had several major soft drink wars, Insano has died ten or eleven or something times now, and it's all gotten a bit crazy. Right now I'm playing chess with the Hunter.

Mac and Skyblade engage in an epic battle with the ancient game of chess. Six turns into the game, Skyblade brings death to Mac's king with a pawn (that's pretty sad :p). Mac, not being very happy, picks up his turbolaser and blasts Skyblade's king: the cheating way, that is.

I'm having a hard time picturing a way that it's possible to checkmate with a pwan on move 6, especially if you play with the ancient rules as you implied, which I happen to know. Anyway, I'm pretty damn sure I wouldn't fall for it if you could. So try playing out moves like Hunter and I are. I can do a simul, and I'll even give you white if you want. Chess happens to be one of my favorite pastimes, other than reading the board here :p, so if you think you can take me, bring it.
4. Nf3 Aw, rats, you didn't play the good (from my view) move. Strangely, a lot of Petroff player's don't seem to know what happens after 3... Nxe4. You'd think that since they choose to play the less common opening, they'd at least know it well enough not to get themselves killed early in it. But sadly, white can often rip the queen off that way, or at least a pawn if they get smart after 4. Qe2.
What's your USCF rating? I'm 720/P, but my actual strength is a lot higher than that. One tournament and haven't adjusted to the environment yet.
Insano, I think you were actually dead 12 times, so after shooting yourself, that would be 13. Better shoot yourself again. Just remember to be humane about it.

Yes, you'd think that they wouldn't fall for something so obvious as 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nf6 3. Nxe5 Nxe4? 4. Qe2! if they were playing the Petroff. It's even worse if they play 4...Nf6?? 5. Nc6+! and White picks up the Queen. After 4. Qe2! Black can get off with just the loss of a pawn with 4...d6 I believe. (do you know about the "?" and "!" marks? If not, ! means a good move and ? means a bad one)
I'm rated 800-something, last time I checked it was 808, but I've played in two tournaments since then and did well, so it's probably more like 825 or something.

Chess players aren't inherently weaker ya'know, though in my case that thought would hold up. And yes, we are playing chess.
5.Bc4 Shows how commonly I play people who play the Petroff right, it happens so infrequently I don't know any more book theory on this line yet, had to go make it up on my own.
I am familiar with a lot of annotating symbols, like !, ?, !?, ?!, !!, ??, +, #. (Good, Bad, Interesting, Dubious, Brilliant, Blunder, Check, Checkmate.)

And Hunter, in case you might be interested, here's an interesting game I played a while back as white. Good example of black choosing an obscure line and not playing it right. 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 f5 (Latvian Gambit) 3.Bc4 Nf6? (Black must capture the pawn.) 4.Nxe5 d5 5.exd5 Nxd5 6.Qh5+ g6 (I love this position. White has 3 pieces aimed at the King after 6 moves, a sure sign that black did something wrong.) 7.Nxg6! Nf6 8.Qe2+ Be7 9.Nxh8 Nc6 10.d3 Nd4 11.Qe5! (Maintains pressure on blacks king, offering the Ra1 to continue attacking. The Rook is irrelevant to the game.) Nxc2+ 12.Kd1 Nxa1 13.Bh6?! (Bf7+ immediately forces mate in 2.) Ng4?? (Qd6 stops immediate mate, though black has a losing game.) 14.Bf7+ Kd7 15.Qe6#
