When you upload a file to the add ons page then it goes into a kind of a waiting room for one of the mods to accept it. I think the only mods that can do this are Tarn and Stark. If it isn't up within a few days then email one of them to tell them that your file is waiting for upload.
And I think they can change file descriptions. Which reminds me
If either Tarn are Stark are reading this could you please edit the GoT 1.0.1 description. Could you add "The Ghosts of Time 1.0.2 update is available from the M Cubed website"

Well, I though Rubber Ducky did the upload of my last add-on... Anyway, not a big deal, the files will be there one day...
Tarn, Stark, or RD can do the addons. I've opted out of that responsibility. It's a time thing for me.
But there's no way for us to know about an addon unless we check the page, so it's a good idea to email one of the three mods concerning a new addon. We tend to hover over this board - much more fun! Although we don't hover ALL the time!! (But don't tell anybody!)
So please continue to have patience! Jobass, your graphics are truly wonderful, and I look forward to your tutorial-in-progress. Thanks again!

All four of your Coldstone mods now have the ability to place uploaded files on the addons page. This was not true a couple of months ago when only two knew the password. It is true that sending an email to one or more of us will bring the file to our attention. Please realize that all of us really do have other lives and this "work" is an unpaid service to the community.
A pending file must be "checked out" and approved before it is moved to the page where you all can access it. The process does take some of our freely given time. At present, two of your moderators are out of town on business trips for about a week, Andiyar is also busy with some projects and I am seriously involved with five performances of a Gillbert & Sullivan production this week. This gets me home about midnight every day and my "real job" gets me up at 5:30 every morning. I drop in here on the fly as time permits. Thus, it may take a few days to get a new file placed right now.
Pilky, it is not customary to include a link to another site on the addons page. The correct way to do this is to upload GoT 1.0.2 with a new description and ask that GoT 1.0.1 be removed.
Jobass, I will get to your new files as soon as I can since, busy as I am, I seem to be "it" at the moment. As your first file was impressive and very well done, I am anxious to see more of your work. May I offer you this suggestion. When you upload a folder of graphics, place a text document in the folder which gives credit information to whomever downloads it. I have downloaded files in the past and when I finally get around to wanting to use them, I don't remember who created them. It is frustrating to have to relocate them to get this information.
To everyone: You are creators. Please do not remain anonymous. It is always best to include a "readme" with your work in addition to the description you provide. Bear in mind that the description does not get downloaded with your file. Make it easy for people to pat you on the back, or send you cash, or sing your praises if they so desire. ~RD

Yes, that's about right. Email is definitely the way to go if you have a file submitted that hasn't shown up. What with life, chemistry, writing, chemistry, work and chemistry, I don't always have the time to wander by the addon files more than once or twice a week... so if you are waiting, I'm fine with being emailed. I'm sure that Stark and RD are as well.

Pilky - for now, I've altered the description, but it would be preferable if you did upload the most recent version to the addons page instead of just referring to it. Makes everything a bit more convenient and easier. Thanks!

I have sent one file to the PoG addons page, and it took two days. Some of the other, board-less games (Deimos, BT, Harry) take a lot longer. Basically the mods (actually not mods, just people) have a simple page where the file goes after you upload it. From there they can download the file to check it to see if it contains a virus or anything, alter the description, and move the file to the correct ftp directory (the code is only required to perform the actions, anyone can view the page). It should probably be up by the time you read this, as the mods on this board are pretty fast.

Now, I can say it's working pretty fine... Even if none of my files are here at the moment... As a matter of fact, I did not correctly upload the first one... As for the second one, it has been received and checked... And a big mistake was in it... I received a message pointing me this mistake then I can correct it... Really, it's working well... Thanks again to everybody there... I'll resend my files later...
1.0.2 is only available as an update. I'll upload a full version of 1.0.3 which will be after CS is updated
