1. Will it run on a Powermac 6500 with 250MHz and 96MB RAM? 2. I have heard it is not possible to register Coldstone for the moment, is this true? 3. What has been disabled in the unregistered version? 4. Is MP3s the only kind of music that you can use? 5. Can you compile games in the unregistered version?
Thanks in advance.

1. Yes 2. Sadly, yes. 3. Events are limited to a max of 40, game compiles with 'unregistered' message. 4. Nope. You could also use aiff, wav (if you like large files), AAC (if quicktime 6 is installed) etc. 5. Yes, but with limitations.

You can use any music format that Quicktime supports. But don't think that the same goes for sound. CS only supports AIFF for sound (which is unfortunate)

the unregistered version does not only limit events. It limits items, NPCs, locations... pretty much everything. The numbers have slipped my mind, however.

1. - You cannot at this time, it's been taken off the market due to it's faults. 2. - When Ambrosia decides too, I suppose, I doubt they even know, as no new beta's have been released. 3. - Not yet

Since ellrx's copy is undoubtedly registered, this is a job for someone with an unregistered , i.e. demo, version and nothing better to do with their time. I'm with dp on this. Why would we want to know?

Alas i've been a registered user in one form or another since abobut 1997.
Kryten is referring to my freak registration accident and memory lapse which i'm currently sorting out with the 'lost codes' department. ( figured i'd get used to using teh X version of CGE and begin rooting out all the bugs in the interface. )
Luckily, the classic registration wasn't lost, otherwise i wouldn't even bother to open up CGE...
