Issue 1 of the CRC mag is out now. Download it at the (url="http://"http://www.coldstonerc.cjb.net")CRC website(/url).
I have not had time to upload the tutorial file but I will tonight. When I do it will only be a beta version as I am having trouble with the graphics.
Please tell me if there is anything that could be improved for Issue 2. This is the first e-magazine I've ever made and there is bound to be lots of room for improvement.
I'm sorry about the large file size but I spent most of last night trying to optimize it. It is about half the size of what it originally was.

If you would like I could spare some room on my site for the tutorial file and you could just have a link to my website.

Pilky:
I saw the screenshots of your tutorial and I know what's wrong (At least with the ground tiles.)
Fix: Go to your map Click and hold on "Tools" Select "Change map dimensions" Leave everything the same except: Ground tiles dimensions (in pixels) should be changed to 96x96.
Otherwise the tiles screw up their positioning. Looking forward to the next mag! Looked good!

Huh. I had that problem when I started using Coldstone, and Bob is the person who helped me. Odd.

excellet 1st mag, needed a end page, a wrap up or things to come feature etc, otherwise it was pretty tight, specially since i didnt know what it would be like. good fun and great effort specially for such a small community.

i already suggested that to Pilky. I think that a Pict of the Issue would do well. Some time ago, I made a pict with PangeaSoft's Power Pete (a.k.a Mighty Mike) saying "Eat my dust!" and pointing his suction cup gun at the PoG hero. Alas, I have nowhere to host the picture, so you can't see it.
