I made a map but now I want to make a location but I don't know how to take my map and make it into a location.May I have step by step instructions on how to make a map a location.
------------------ My parents swore upon their honor, That I was safe and not a goner.
Click on "New Location".
Change the "Type" to "Map".
Save it with the exact same name as the map it is associated with.
You're done.

Poger, please study the manual and the tutorial. I'm sorry, but it seems to me that you rely on us to try to teach you instead of you working at it. It's very difficult to teach by email. But I'd appreciate it if you'd work at it a little more. Thanks.

I am sorry but the game tutorial doesn't come with the coldstone demo :frown:. But I will try my best :).
P.S. Hopefully soon I will get the reg. version ;).

sigh Again, the tutorial is available from the coldstone downloads section... Getting pretty tired of posting that

Poger, go to the Coldstone addons page: (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/games/coldstone/addons.html")http://www.AmbrosiaS...one/addons.html(/url)
On the right hand side you'll see Coldstone Essentials. Look at that and you'll see the tutorial. Click on that to download. Read it - print it out - study it - learn how to use Coldstone. This is fair warning. Everyone is happy to answer questions, but only after you're genuinely tried to learn to use the application program, and have genuinely tried to solve your own problems.

You need Adobe reader. You can get it at their website. Look for "Adobereader".

OS X's Preview works too (and it's a whole lot faster on my computer).

When I try to open the tutorial I got from the addons page it says to choose an application but Acrobat and Preview are all grayed out.

Okay. Drop the manual on the application (in your aplications folder?) you want to read it with. If there is a problem, a message will display.

The Open command in Preview ought to work too (unless of course, you are in OS 9 right now).

Still doesn't work :frown:.
Pardon me if I'm insulting your intelligence, but did you decompress it with Stuffit? Also, what is it's file extension? Are you sure you have a current version of Adobe Acrobat (Would that even matter?). Sometimes the obvious things we overlook (Happened to me many times :D).
Edit: Adobe Acrobat, not Adobe Reader. ------------------ "Stiney! Get me a danish!"

I't doesn't decompress I just download it and there it is and it's a .cpt file ;).
Did you actually look into the Docs folder, in the Coldstone Demo folder? the Manual is in there, i should know, I too thought that the demo didnt "ship" a manual.
