My 24 bit png graphics look way better on the pc than on the mac when viewing a coldstone game. On the mac they seem like 8 bit graphics, but on the pc the look the way they should.
did not test with other graphics formats though.
anyone else had the same experience?
------------------
I've never done anything with Coldstone on the PC, but the Mac version does have a bug where it apparently downsamples everything above 16-bit down to 16-bit. See (url="http://"http://homepage.mac.com/glennfield/ColorDepth.png")http://homepage.mac..../ColorDepth.png(/url) for a sample picture - the image used (on the right) is 32-bit, but it displays identically (and incorrectly) in a game built for "Thousands of colors" (ie, 16-bit) and "True Color" (ie, 24/32-bit)
