Hi. Things have been very busy so I have not had to much time to type up more of the script from my note book. I took several course this weekend on Visual Effects, Video game Design (focused more on 3d) and intro course to Maya. Had a blast and am very tired. More will be forth coming, but for now here is a segment from my script (page 91-92)
Wanderers Excerpt:
(Faun Ren -- Lunch Room)
(Brahm is still being tended by the healers and is lying on the table. Kaze is still next to him)
Kaze: I have placed the last section of the sceptor somewhere safe.
Brahm: Thank you.
Kaze: Are you feeling any better?
Brahm: No. Did they tell you that I lost my eyesight?
Kaze: They did not.
(Sophie enters)
Sophie: Morning Brahm, Kaze.
Brahm: Where is Michael? I have not heard from him since I got back.
Sophie: He is helping. When he returns Ill send him in.
Brahm: Good.
(Suddenly the room gets darker and Norafulg appears)
Norafulg: So this is where you have been hiding.
Kaze: YOU!!
Brahm: It will do you no good. The final piece of the sceptor is not here.
(Kaze attacks Norafulg)
Norafulg: Fa. Worthless...
(Norafulg hits Kaze with a blast of energy that knocks her down)
Norafulg: Then we shall trade....
(Norafulg grabs Sophie)
Norafulg: ...this girl for the staff.
Sophie: NO! LET GO OF ME!
Brahm: SOPHIE!
Norafulg: Find our castle, give me the last section of the staff and you will have the girl back unharmed.
(Brahm stands and rushes towards the sound of Norafulgs voice, but is thrown back)
Norafulg: You have seven days.
(Norafulg vanishes with Sophie)
I have more typed in but I am still working on the connecting section between this scene and the ones that follows. I hope you enjoyed it. Any and all comments are welcome. I know that some of the above might not make sense since you do not know who the characters are, and please bear in mind that this is a first draft.

still not mich progress 'cause of exams... did some graphics though... my graphist has drawn a lot recently so I'll have many things to scan, colorize and implement in the game... the script's progressing very slowly and I can't do much whithout it so I think I'll "talk" to my "scripters" soon... Many ideas for the story and the quests but nothing really clear 'till now... so much to do, so little time... 'sigh'...

We made no progress this month!
Well, we did, I guess, but only in individual parts. Cohesively, the game is little changed since last month, but the writing is being tweaked and the character art has been started. Restarted, really, but that's another story.
We don't really have a web site, but if anyone would like to look at a (very) few super keen concept sketches of characters, they can go to this address: (url="http://"http://home.earthlink.net/~isthaq/conceptart.html")http://home.earthlin...conceptart.html(/url)
Pedrith, I love your script. It's totally classic. I felt like I was holding a Super Nintendo controller in my hand when I read it (that's a good thing for RPG's, in case you weren't sure). Tell Sophie I'm on my way and not to worry.

Pedrith: That's "scepter" (or "sceptre", if you're feeling international) Sounds like classic 16-bit dialog, though - I'm looking forward to your game!

Not much progress at all, fishing season and all... Although i did manage to get 2 more NPC's animated

Hi. Thanks for the feedback. This is the first draft and has yet to be edited for spelling and such. I'm glad people are looking forward to my game. Yeah I guess some of the dialogue does seem 16 bit like, but then I grew up playing Dragon Warrior and Chrono Trigger so that might have infuenced me perception of video games. I am trying to create a game that I would enjoy and that contains the esscence of the games I grew up with. Only time will tell if I succeed. If people are interested I might post another section of the script, from earlier in the game, but will not post scenes that give to much away. Just enough to entice you.
Myshkyn the concept art on your page looks good. I would love to see some more art when you have it up online.
