I have got 4 Questions. 1. I read that that Ambrosia Produces the best Fan Games based on Coldstone, from the most talented Coldstone Designer ist that true? 2. Can I send my Project to Ambrosia and when they think its goodthey will produce it for my ( perhaps as Shareware)3. Can I also produce it as Shareware alone. 4. Will Ambosia produce a new Version of Coldstone?
------------------
1: Yes. Ambrosia have stated that they wish to publish a series of Coldstone games, similar to AD&D; modules. I assume they would publish only the ones that they think are the best, for economic reasons if nothing else.
2: You can submit a developer application through Ambrosia's (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/support/techworks/")Techworks(/url) system, and if they accept it I suppose they can publish your game.
3: Yes, with a registered version of Coldstone you may release any game you make independantly as shareware. Commercialware requires a license.
4: Perhaps, perhaps not. Dee Brown has stated that he'd like to do a 2.0 version, but there are numerous factors involved. Currently, there are no plans to release another version of Coldstone, but if it proves popular enough, then, well, who knows?

They'd better do one. The fact that we were so close to having npc teams really bugs me, and the lack thereof is putting a big cramp in my plans. The lack of movement layers I can deal with, even the lack of parties, but the lack of a way to make npcs face of against each other without completely fudging something together, well that's a problem.
