Some things, such as the Learning Tree, were kept from the Coldstone CD, because they want PoG to remain unique in some aspects.

Not some objects but a lot of objects. I was amazed at how much was not included on my CD. Some object where included in screen shots for coldstone. I think they used PoG to sell coldstone unjustly. I don't quite get what's missing in the first URL (above). I went to the site and saw the graphic of the animation tool used in Coldstone. The graphic was the NPC_Hero in the Picture folder inside the NPC_Hero folder. At the very top of that folder you see a file named Hero and below that one named HeroBow if you double click on the Hero file you will see exactly the graphic, or rather the animation tool in ColdStone that you show in the above URL

How so? You have to remember that Coldstone is a complete Game Engine, it is not merely an app that allows you to churn out clones of PoG. You can (and probably should) replace all graphics/sounds/music with your own newer, original work. The items that were not included on the CD were left off so that, even if a billion look-alikes of PoG are released, at least the original will be unique in some aspects of it's appearance.
PoG was not used to sell Coldstone, or at least not directly. PoG was created as an example of what Coldstone can do, and not as an example of what you receive when you register Coldstone.

Well its The Conjurer graphic and I think thats his complaint. That Hero Graphic wasnt included. PoG WAS used to sell The CGE and I think that maybe that is the problem here. By using PoG to give a sample of the type of stuff you can do, people set themselves up with some unreal expectations. If you havent figured out how much more than PoG you could do with Coldstone then youre stuck in the Paradigm. If lack of graphics is your complaint then search the web harder for free graphics (the truth is out there) or network up some partners the sites dedicated to graphics are a good place to start.

Well, golly gee, I wonder if he downloaded my Hero_Warrior from the Coldstone add on files. That was my best one yet. I wouldn't mind submitting others but I still only see zero downloads for it. I have a preeteen boy in blue jeans who fights with a ball of fire instead of a sword. And I have a red devil with wings and muscles. He needs some sort of weapon though. I was thinking of maybe a blue glow that eminates from him when he encounters an enemy. I thought of the idea of changeing the hero with this devil guy and letting him take a turn at being the controling animation until he makes a wrong choice along the way then he turns back into the Hero again only stronger and better than before. Hey! It might work.

This is a bug, actually. It's my understanding that if your file name contains both capital letters and spaces, the counter will be stuck at zero no matter how many downloads have been made. Don't get discouraged by it, and make sure your next submission uses underscore (_) characters instead of spaces in its name.

Hmmm.... I have capitals in my first upload and the downloads were counted. But, I noticed I put, "The", at the beginning of the title and so as you can see by, The Warrior Hero and The WiseGuy Collection. Neither one of those count their downloads. If it's not the capitals, I'm wondering if it's the beginning article "The"??? Thanks I'll be more careful how I name my uploads. I don't suppose Ambrosia can or will rename my upload.

NPC Hero Warrior No! Celchu, I don't think so, because as you can see by this title I copied off the Add On Files site, it has both capitals 'and' spaces and counts every download. Over 190 at last count. My first upload was more or less just a demo of what could be done with Poser animations. But my "The Hero Warrior" is a complete walk and fight animation that can be used in a game. The first set can't. One thing I have appreciated about this problem is, at least I am getting concerned responses. The board has been rather quiet for the most part lately. THANKS guys. I've been working all day on a new upload of a robot. Maybe Stray can use it in his space adventure. My biggest problem is getting the fight animation to look halfway decent. As soon as I get that fixed I'll upload it with the carefully typed name. No S P A C E S

This was interesting toast, so you may want to do a little test. Mouse over the download option for NPC Warrior Hero. You will see that the target contains NPC_Warrior_Hero. Now, mouse over your own The Hero Warrior. The target, you will see, has The Warrior Hero, with spaces as opposed to underscores. The underscores are rendered invisible by the page's coding. So use underscores and be conscientious.

You are sooo right, Chelcu. I hate it when I'm wrong. And I notice 2 others that don't have counts. A small tutorial and Roman NameGenerator both have capitals 'AND' spaces. Never thougt about mouse over. Not used to underscores, I'm a MAC man. How do I get on live chat? I downloaded a chat program called Snak 4.8.3 but I can;t get to the Coldstone live chat.
