OK, Slug, you're out of line. There's no need to chew Pallas's head off.
Pallas, you're also out of line. You should have thought a lot better about how you worded that- it was inflammatory the way you put it.
That said, I have no doubt Pallas could produce work to that standard. Hell, I could produce work to that standard. The question, however, would be the time required to be invested- I have no doubts Slug produced that work in less than a tenth of the time it would take me to do something of that quality.
Let's just tone down the egos across the board, OK? Pallas, Joveia (I'm still spelling that wrong the first time =P), and Slug, you're all great with graphics, so there's no need to pick at each other.

Hey there's a thought - why don't you enter the contest SA? Then you could better understand the suffering brought about by our enormous egos :).
I think the emphasis came out a little differently than I'd intended; I apologize wholeheartedly now that I've reread it.
What I had meant was, rather than criticizing the work you have there, to indicate that it didn't seem like the only work necessary to get in. (Which you appear to have now stated)
I think I wrote that just after I looked at the Psycho Politics Feature Banner (Which doesn't really measure up to the rest, in my opinion). Ah well.
Still haven't gotten around to that Infested Scheme. Hey, if I make the 3D models that correspond to it, I might be able to get in a skin entry

Well, I might, except for the fact I just don't have the time to commit. You know that image I showed you? Well, that model and its textures were over ten hours of work, and I can't really afford that right now. Though I suppose if Slug was willing to host the file, I could show that one image.
There are a bunch of us with sites - Slug, of course, me, Mag, Patrick Really, if you want to advertise a plug, you have a website. (Although I don't know if Joveia has gotten to it yet)

It's a lot like UBB. Once you get some of those basics down, try the (url="http://"http://hotwired.lycos.com/webmonkey/reference/html_cheatsheet/")HTML Cheatsheet(/url) and fool around. An f2s site will get you started pretty well, but you can just open up pages off your hard drive for testing.
I don't need a site. But to include a picture in a post I need my image online somewhere where it can be externally linked to.
Ahh, thanks, I have itools though. While this may relegate my achievements to 'Spring Newsletter' I still have the means of making a site. I'm not sure how to implement html in an iTools site anyway. Anyway...

Well, I suppose until I post the Cruiser (soon, soon) I can still give analyses: The model is simpler than any of CA/Joveia's, but then I've always wondered why anyone would put that much circuitry on the exterior of the ship ;). However, while I'm assuming that those entensions in the front have a purpose, the image doesn't tend to show one. Runs in at around 8/10, I think. Then again, I haven't developed a ranking system yet, so I can't really be sure.
(In case you haven't noticed, I'm as into pracical as I am into eye-catching)

Seaking in the great metaphor of the Artistic Canvas, a sherical dreadnought is like dipping the canvas in PfhorSlimeย, feeding it to a Drinniol , and getting it from the other end of the digestive tract
It's recognizable as the UESG cruiser from the old design, but it's boxier and actually shows its weapon emplacements (The old UESG designs didn't)
