The Officer's Club Bar #6

Returns from the storage room carrying several varieties of pie, and sets them up on the bar. G'head, Spamo. Oh, and watch out for the Grrrrchstchtpck Pie I got from the Greccha homeworld when we sacked it. It's a little tough.

Hey Cicion, gimme a lot of Dr. Pepper. Finals tomorrow.

You got it, Darkk, old friend. Finals, that's tough stuff, 'tis. Have some, on the house. Lifts a flagon roughly the size of a compact car onto the bar and fills it with DP.

A civilian ship glides in to land and make an echoing thud as it sets down. It's crew step out and file into the bar. The Captain walks out last and the gang plank lifts up. After pulling a little device from his pocket and pressing something a blip blip is heard. He saunters up to the bar and orders a round of fine wine for his shipmates(secretly ordering a bottle for himself).

Hey!
Is that a real Salmonella pie there, in Lysteria sauce?

------------------
Oh, so it is another bug hunt then...

Actually it's a new British sauce called nerthiskerdramdamhamshire sauce. (Pronounced "nurshur") I'm not sure of the ingredients. Apparently they strip-mine it a few miles inland of Portsmouth.

Severely drunk thanks to the bottle of wine, the indy captain puts up a sign...

** Check out the Ares Engineering Dept!
It's a great place to be!

After putting up that sign, the captain returns to his ship along with the crew, takes off, and picks a fight with a local UNS patrol. The families of the ship's crew attend their funeral.

Hey, don't pick on the UNS! We're the good guys!
Or are we....?

------------------
"That was quick."
"Well you know, when you don't do it right it doesn't take as long."

_The Darkk from the current RPG cuts the hands off of UE Admiral's gunners for their vicious actions.

Except he used an entropic blade, so they shriveled up like rasins and got the blood sucked out of them. Ooops._

"Hey bartender, another round! There's good stuff hap'n'n for the UNS!"

You have it, Darkk. Serves up the drinks. So, what's the news about town?

Chemistry and Biology finals on thursday... Killer, man, killer.

The RPG Pharrises look at the Real Pharris, who is curled up in a booth in the corner with three textbooks, his laptop, and a pile of papers.

NEW NAME FOR THE DREADNOUGHT
The Hard-Boiled Egg
Why?
Because she cant be beaten!

I just hope I never have to take the compilers/assembler final and the Honors Physics 2 final in the same semester.

Actually, it wouldn't be that bad, because there would be no need to show up for either.

Cicion and his bots start stringing up colored lights around the bar, and one large robot hauls in a large pine tree and plops it into a stand in a corner by the bar. The robots begin to decorate it. Well, the decorations are going up a bit late this year, but at least I remembered 'em. Anyone for some figgy pudding?

In my family, big boxes never get your hopes up, as they're likely to contain a gift certificate wrapped in duct tape at the bottom under tons and tons of those styrofoam packing thingies, along with a few rocks for weight. We take extra joy in wrapping presents.

Let's see, everything I got:

- The Matrix Score (Not soundtrack, score. My parents didn't realize. Ah. well)

- Chuck Berry Anthology

- The Matrix (on DVD)

- Monty Python and the Holy Grail Special Edition (on DVD)

- Enough ingredients to make a batch of the best fudge in existance.

- $45 between a check and cash.

- $35 gift certificate to a nearby cardshop (for Magic cards).

- 1 pair of needle-nose pliers (for pocket).

- Various stocking things.

The Discorses???
I NEED that...
I might have it, but I'm not sure. All I've got is a sort of "Cliff's Notes" cartoony version.
Still, it's pretty nifty.

Yeah, it's amazing. Machiavelli's a genius. I just need his Art of War to complete my collection. I wonder how it compares to Sun Tzu's like-named work.

I want to find out. That's on my birthday list.
Assuming we don't already own it and not know it; we've got a lot of books.

I'll have a bit of that figgy pudding please, and some of the roast millipede.
And a glass of vintage GreenyBlue ŽŠ™ please.
