A usually quiet person who likes to pilot his enhanced fighter which he personally "relieved" from salrilian hands and modified. Highly intelligent in technological aspects. Neutral in the cantharan-human war, but some think he was involved in the natira incident. Hates meatloaf.

Slug is a bit of an outcast, and has been for his whole life due to his arrogence and overall bad disposition. My philosophy is kill the messenger.
Slug is one of the most brilliant Salrilian militaristic minds ever. At one time he was even a Grand Admiral of the Seventh Fleet of the Prophets, but after the disasterous defeat at The Battle for the Ring, he was stripped of rank and reassigned as a spy.
I now command a pair of Anti-Pirate Ambush Freightors (light carriers disguised as heavy transports) as a renegade in exile, so I am a member of the Gaitori Isolationist Interdiction. I have sworn to someday return to the homeworld, and I am still loyal to it.
Once a commander of an enourmous fleet, Cicion has been made a Taeskor. The Taeskor are the top elite soldiers. The top Taeskors are called Pure Taeskors. Pure Taeskors are completely independant and carry only daggers as weapons. They are used as infiltrators, assassins, guards to the Octicates, and spies. After going through the intense training and preparation which only about a third survive, he has left behind the fancy white High Commander's uniform and donned the garb of a Pure Taeskor: Grey jumpsuit, black softboots, and short blue cape. The only ship he now commands is his personal one-man patrol and attack craft.

Captain M.J. Pharris, Master and Commander, SS. Barbarossa Human Male 6'1" 170 lbs
Tall, and Dark, Commander Pharris outwardly seems quite short temperd and raucus, having wreaked havoc upon countless people who dared insult him, his ship, his skills, his crew, his mother, or anything at all for that matter. Despite the fact that he is incredibly rich due to a particularly splendid and daring capture of an entire FMC mining convoy, he dresses simply, wearing a rough worn old pilots uniform. Wanted in most systems, he usually stops at any given place long enough to repair the ship and sample the local women, but while the SS Barbarossa is docked, you can be sure that the spaceport bars and brothels will have good bussiness for the few days while the crew spends the large ammounts of cash plundered from their latest capture. A cunning and resourceful fighter(both with his hands, guns and his ship) he has been known to make seemingly suicidal assuaults on supposedly unbreacheable defences, and never comes away with casualties. A leader by example, he is always the first out the boarding lock when the time comes to breach a ship. Although his tactics seem reckless, his assaults are thoroughly planned, and meticulously executed. He is a tough, resourceful and thoroughly dangerous man.

The Grand Squid very much resembles anormal octopus, however, his size and weight are obviously much greater. The Grand Squid is believed to be a one-of-a-kind. Nothing is known of where he is from.
The Grand Squid (or just Squid to his friends) spends much time on the bottom of the sea pondering the conquest of mankind. The Grand Squid enjoys assuming the shape of an 18-year old boy, reducing his height to 1.78 m and his weight to about 60 Kg. The Grand Squid then uses his fingers to manipulate such human creations as a keyboard and a mouse, which he finds a rather enjoyable pastime. Prone to changing his color to a deep copper red when angered (in Squid shape). Spends most of his time as a human manipulating humans do to his bidding with his arcane powers. Rumors that The Grand Squid is in some way related to the Qzan race are purely speculative and should not be taken serious.

Just a couple of things I would like to add: I carry around a little device which (if not resisted) will make me appear a member of a different race. It's not any defense, since you can just see through it if you want, but it gives humans and others a certain amount of comfort.
My modified corvette is the ODV (Obish diplomatic vessel) Laurel, If you haven't already guessed. My three HVEscorts are the OMV (military) Artemis, Apollo, and Delos. The corvette has only a repulser, but it is VERY

Mag Steelglass was a part of the origional crew of the UNS Rouge - the first military interstellar vehicle. It was 25 years faster than the Apollo 2200, but it was launched a year later. The crew gave the Ishiman the design for the Rouge, and the Ishiman agreed to keep the design current. Over the years, the Rouge ended up being modified to the point where it was basically an Ishiman Heavy Cruiser, although any specifications aobut it say that it is a Scout class vessel. the Rouge was specifically modified for the assault on the Gateship, and has become very famous. Mag Steelglass now owns the Rouge, and tries to keep that a secret, to avoid large crowds following him wherever he goes. He is an incredible pilot, but he always leaves the military planning to others. He carries a photokinetic beam rifle with him wherever he goes. The Rouge is now modified as an Ishiman Elite Cruiser - Lepton Beam Cannons, Protopulse Cannon, and 5 Concussion Missiles, because the power coils that transferred Ishiman power into Elejeetian and Salrillian power kept blowing out at bad times.

Once serving on the Nova, he is an old friend of Mag Steelglass. He left the Nova sometime after Earth was liberated and became a mercenary, hiring his services out to those who paid him, or those who where in desparate need of help. He has no preference of race or government, but he is starting to drift toward the side that opposes the new Salrilian "enlightenment"...
His ship, the Azurewrath , is a heavily modified Ishiman heavy destroyer. The blue vessel has upgraded manuverability, speed, shields (not by too much though, about to 2500 total), and energy capacity. It is armed with a fullerene pulse gun with 500 ammo, twin lepton beam cannons, and 150 "new" concussion missles (can be fired in packs of 5), and also has been recently outfitted with antimatter flak. Antimatter flak doesn't really do any damage but its destracts the enemies and confuses radar and homing devices. Even with these upgrades though, it can still be overtaken when outnumbered by more than a 1:3 ratio.

4000 is still a lot. Carriers have 5000. You HVD is only a cruiser's worth weaker than a carrier. That just seems a bit TOO powerful. The Rogue only has 1200 shields, and that's only because I'm using an Assault Transport's shield generator...

Its down to 2500 now, a bit over an HVD which was my origonal intent (before I found out that HVDs only have 2000). That is less than 1/2 of my origonal amount... Happy?
