How can i apply my rlëD sprites to the shďp ressource? I didn't find anything in the bible afterreading it twice, so i thought i might ask here. I am using MC, and i have made a rlëD of the ship, the shän directing to it and the shďp ressource. But i don't get how to tell the shďp what shän to use. The same goes for the shipyard description and PICT, but i think that's made with special ID's ain't it? Can anyone give me some help on this?

If the shďp is resource number 128 then its corresponding shän will be shän resource 128 and so on and so forth.
Yeah, shďps just use the shän with the same ID, it's not specified in the shďp resource. In fact, you might find this guide useful (especially the end)
Thank you, the graphics work now. But i have a new problem:
If i am sittig in my new made ship, neither me nor my escorts hit anything. All the shots (even missiles) just pass through other ships. This might be an incredibly stupid problem, but i can't find anything that might cause it. Anyone got help?
Well, I am missing some information. Are your shots passing through other ships or are shots from other ships passing through you?
If your shots are passing through other ships I'm not sure what is wrong.
If shots from other ships (not escorts) are passing through you check and see if you have set the planet-type ship bit.
If this doesn't help then I have no idea...
My own shoots and those of my escorts pass through other ships.
Check that your govt or ranks or something aren't causing this. There's some flag somewhere to tell shots to pass through other ships of the same govt.
That's not hit, govts can never hit themselves with projectiles. Blasts can but that's it. There is a flag however that totally prevents the player fro hitting a specific govt (maybe that's what you were talking about and I got you wrong). You should also check if the weapon or ships are planet type if what we mentionned isn't causing it. Watch out for can't be targetted flags as well. Same thing with dudes, they have aflag wether or not the player can hurt them.
New problem: When using the new ship, i'm unable to buy some outfits i'm not shure what kinds of outfits, but i'm shure the Gravimetric Sensors and the IFF Decoder are among them.
Most ships in Nova have a particular Require bit set. It's in there so that Vell-Os ships can't go hauling around EMP Torpedoes and Quad-Blaster-Turrets.
I don't remember it off hand, but you can look it up. Every ship from the Shuttle on up has it set. Copy the Shuttle's Require bits, and you'll be good to go.
OK, thx. I thought it might be the require bits, but i wasn't quite shure.
(EDIT:)It didn't work. I allready had the same mission bits as the Shuttle (everything set to 0) Any other ideas?

Sorry, it's Contribute bits, not Require bits. One of those will be set.
