I made some new second trigger laser weaps, bought them on the outfitter, I could even see them in my 'Bought Outfits Section', but I couldn't see them at my secondary weapons display!! Logical I couldn't fire them. <_< I made them to primary weaps, but I still can't fire them!!!!! What must I do??
Maybe you have 'remove after purchase' enabled.
No.
You are making sure to make the Mod Type 1 of your outfits a weapon, and the Mod Val 1 the ID# of the weapon you want it to fire, right?
Does your debuglog.txt give any warning messages regarding your outfits and weapons?

Did you mean with your first question that the outfit IDs of the weapons are the same like the weapon IDs? How can I make a debuglog.txt?

No, what he meant was that, in the outfit resource, you need to set the first ModType (generally a pull-down menu) to "Weapon", and set the first ModVal field to the Resource ID of the your weapon. The RID of the outfit itself doesn't matter.
You may find Zacha Pedro's outf and weap guides useful. They have a lot of information about the resources.
And as for how you make a debuglog, you answered your own question. You make a text file, call it debuglog.txt, and put it in your Nova folder, just like a pilotlog.

If you want to look at the faulty plug, here is it:
EDIT: Sorry, but this post don't want my plug! I will try to make pictures of the weapon section.
This post has been edited by Frequency 245 : 23 July 2005 - 06:11 AM
And the other two pictures:
The weapon's graphic is set to a negative number. There's your problem.
Okay, I changed it, but it still don't work. Here are the things I changed on the outfits section:
General (I), see picture General (II), I didn't change anything. 'Function', I changed the 'Type' to 'Weapon' and entered the ID of the weapon, for the second section I took 'Fuel Scoop' with '-8'. At the 'Misc Settings' I only took 'Fixed gun'.
Did you delete the attachment or something? Somehow, no info is coming up anywhere.
Buggy boards.
EDIT: Stupid Freq. I did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I only took the wrong ID!! 444! So stupid! Thank you all for your help!
