You know, I got the same response at a store I went to once and I decided maybe I shouldn't shop there anymore. Look at the bright side, If you pick up one of these items from a felled goblin you can always sell it to some other merchant. They've never seen it before and will give you good money for it. Then it's their problem, not yours. ~RD

This is only helpful if you sell them relatively early in the game. When you have thousands of gold pieces these items don't make much difference.

Well, as in life, sometimes you catch on quicker to some things than others. At least after talking to Doc and seeing the descriptions of his items...it would seem that "catching on" would have made more of a difference to you. Also, as in life, things aren't "always" helpful.

Me...I pick EVERYTHING up...whether I need it or not....it's all just part of the anal retentive way in which I explore maps and get into things that are really none of my concern. Remember, I told you I kept "special items" from other quests/plug ins...just in case my character could use them for up and coming new plug ins...ahhhh...nevermind...I'm just neurotic!! hee hee

can somebody help me? I've found all the pieces of the troll message and now I'm supposed to go south of some ogre camp, unfortunetly I have no idea where it is so if somebody could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it. And if there's something else I have to do to help me find it and you don't want to give it away on the boards my email is darkflare@imap-mail.com

If you go south from the river portals along the west bank of the river you will come to a campfire surrounded by ogres. Now I'm not telling you anything here but where the ogre camp is. You might want to look at page 4 of the map which is in my signature below and figure out where the princess might be hidden. Good luck, and post back if you really are stuck. ~RD

Rubber Ducky, if you are updating your plugin any time soon, could you have it so that when you get all the pieces of the parchment, they disappear and you get a new item which is the note put together? I copied the completed note in my journal, but it is too big and some of the text is cut off.
I know where she is hidden I just can't find the entrance. I tried to relocate (yes I am a conjurer) but the game locks up when I get into the clearing west of the fire. . .

That's because the parchment said in a dark clearing south of the Ogre camp. It won't do you any good to go west. (Hint: SW won't work either. Maybe a little SE though.) Good luck with your game. I see you must have found a way into Upper Berglum. ~RD
