I was just curious, as you can't tell by nicks sometimes, but are there other women who play PoG or post on boards besides me???
Throw a pair of X's my way and let me know!
------------------
Here's one to be counted. I was going by Codewizard long before Harry Potter came along and said wizard means male only. Then again, I don't want to be called a witch anything! Sorry, I don't know what you mean by throwing a pair of x's.
I think, you could write a good plug-in. You show a lot of humor in your posts.
------------------ Insert profound thought or clever witticism here
Here's another one, though I play more EV:N than PoG.
Yeah for women!!!
The XX's for the female chromosomes!
I'm waiting to get Coldstone soon, and then I have to wait for my brain cells to function...and then voila...a plug in will be born!!!
I'd like to try EV soon, but I'm just "scattered" these days. Darn hormones!!

There was Cavanoskus, though she's dissapeared. (And though I'm posting in this topic, I'm not female.)
------------------ All hail Hikari, Golden Goddess of Light!
I've been playing ambrosia products forever. I played Cythera endlessly for a while, and have been playing PoG for a month or two. Most enjoyable. I'd love to see a female character in the game, but I suspect if that's what I want I need to do it myself, and I don't have the time or the skills at this point. Maybe someday...

At least half a dozen if you count all of the ones who have replied to this topic (myself included)
I'm a woman pog player too. I would love to be able to choose a female character, preferably one not scantily clad--as in, not made for the guys' benefit!

I would have to agree. I always dislike games where this sort of thing occurs because it doesn't make sense. Would a female really wear as little clothing as possible while they are fighting a Sea Giant? No. Perhaps a female hero for PoG character should look more like a (url="http://"http://majestyquest.com/downloads/card-paladin+.jpg")Paladin from Majesty(/url) (and yes, she is a girl). On the right side, there is a small picture of the full character (this file is 786kb).
EDIT: And I am not a female, even though I have posted in this topic. ------------------ Clones are people two. If UPS and Fed-Ex merged, would they be Fed-Up? A man who's out to save Gidolan Keep, flies an Auroran ship, and hacks into computers to keep the bricks from falling past the line of destiny? Yep, that's me!

Having fought in heavy, restrictive armor as well as in light cloth, I must say that if I were facing an opponent who was wearing full plate armor, I would most certainly choose the lightest apparel possible. The reasoning? Because while the person in plate is definitely better protected, there isn't any way he is going to hit me with as restricted as he is. Get behind him, trip him forward, sit on his back and pound on his helmet with a mace.
That being said, anyone who believes that scantily-clad female heroes are for women's benefit is a bit mistaken. heh. I believe that they are geared more towards the 13-yr old male adolescent.

Well I am almost finished with the first female race plugin although I am not a woman.I think it might be a bit more interesting.

Not me. But I do love and respect women. Well, the friendly ones. Then there are the total <insert rude word here>, or total blondes.
------------------ What do you get when you multiply six by nine?
Stark, most warriors who wear full plate armor are strong enough to have some mobility in it

Did you create new sprites? Which class is it? Also, realize that in several points in the game, you are assumed to be a male. For example, the Merchant in Famtrima says, "My lord." and since PoG is not open source, you cannot modify that sort of thing.
EDIT: Well, I reread your post and realized that you were creating a new race (which I suppose does the job). I assume that all you are doing is adding new sprites. ------------------ Clones are people two. If UPS and Fed-Ex merged, would they be Fed-Up? Depends on the woman. The only scantily-clad male hero I can think of ever seeing was when Mike Grell drew his The Warlord comic book.
well it is not working for some reason I am asking ledorax for help I emailed it to him he should tell me what's wrong and hopefully I'll be able to fix it :). The drawing I did not do but the animation file and the race I did do.

Perhaps a clarification (from what I could figure out):
My plugin doesn't work. It creates a race (female). I sent my plugin source to ledorax to help me fix it. I did not draw the sprites. I created the animation file and the race.

My wife loves PoG. She got hooked after seeing me spend too many hours on it. NOw she plays more than I and is half way through her Conjurer game. She normally doesn't play any games but there's just something about PoG.
