I searched the boards for help on making plugins.. but couldn't find anything.
If someone can point me in the right direction so that i can begin to learn how to make my own plugins, or if someone is willing to teach me, let me know.
Ive had the game for about a year, but never had the time to sit down and mess around with making a plugin.. so im starting with nothing. (im not to technical savy.. so if someone could explain how to do it in english and not in technical bable... it would GREATLY be appreciated.)
EDIT: Found the nova bible... but its just all technical mumbo jumbo... somebody help me in understanding it... and eventually how to make a plugin.... (using mac by the way)

The Developers board might be better. On a Mac? Use MissionComputer. Windows? Use EVNEW. But try the Developers board.

I don't know where you can find Mission Computer, but once you do find it, opening up a copy of the Nova Data Files in it can help you understand how plugins work, and also how to read the Nova Bible.
The EV Developer's Corner forum is definitely where this topic should be.
I'll just move it over there.

sorry bout that....
still... i am very lost and very confused about this whole plugins thing. (i know NOTHING about any of this, so i need a starting point, and a direction from there)
go to the main ambrosia page (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com")www.ambrosiasw.com(/url) and click on the nova icon. Then on the new page click on add ons. that should take you to the right page.
Then you will find mission computer.
Edit: In fact go here (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/cgi-bin/vftp/show.pl?product=evn&category;=utilities&page;=1&display;=rating") here (/url)

(url="http://"http://davidarthur.evula.net/")Here is the web site for the author of MissionComputer. You can get the most recent version from this site.(/url)
You can also use NovaTools, which is a bit harder to install and use, but is more complete in some ways. A link is in my sig. The third choice is EVONE, which costs $10 and is available from Arios Software.

You should probably work out what you want to make before you start making it. Once you've got that far, there are some topics around that may help you with actually making it.
