The .ds_store is an artifact of OS X and the skyhop.3ds is the actual object file.

That file was intended for Captain Phillips. It was never intended to be used other than to be imported into a 3D modeler where it can be edited. For you, it is of no value and you can't just use it as a Nova plug-in.

YAY, got my program back. I'll start work today, It'll take a couple more days to get back everything I lost though.
I have a new weapon to offer. I made it as a test to make sure Strata Vision was working properly, it looks pretty cool for a half hour's work. If someone could just DeRle the medium blaster sprite's for me could alter them to become this weapon's shots, all the meduim blaster shots need is a simple hue shift to pink and viola, the perfect weapon. ;D I'll give a pic a soon a possible.

It probably is going to look fine in-game, but when viewed by itself in its 6 X 6 grid, I find the Pink Medium Blaster sprite just deliciously hilarious.
So do I correctly understand that the Zakuhopper is now slated to have both the Pink Medium Blaster (= Plazma Cannon?) and the Purple Wraith Beam (= jagged purple lightning)? If so, this is going to truly be a ship for the ages -- something to strike terror in the hearts of pirates and color-conscious graphic designers throughout the galaxy!
