Unfortunately, even this doesn't help me find "Miners -A mini-TC for EV Nova" (I think that was what I said.. I saw it in someone's sig once, and haven't been able to find it since. (Yes, I did try searching the boards...)

In the file type and game type you should add a "any" option. that would help.

I'm using 4.75, since I'm on my OS9 box here at work. While NS does have issues with sites on a regular basis, I saw nothing that would cause there to be 0 results like I was (not) seeing.

On Netscape 4.6 & Mac OS 9.1, the search term reported on the Google page is for "category=test" regardless of the add-on category chosen from the pull-down menu on SpacePirate's page. If I manually edit the search string (to instead include "category=plugins," for instance), then Google under Netscape returns the same results I get in IE.
Regarding those single-plug description pages I mentioned in your announcement topic on the EVN board: I think those pages aren't showing up in the searches because they have no standing links on the add-ons page, and therefore don't get crawled by Google. I've got no clue whether it would take a couple hours or a couple days to give the add-ons page a link to an auto-updating page that had nothing but a huge list of links to all those little pages. EVula may be the guy in the best position to do such a thing or know what is involved.... as usual....

All righty... After a while playing in Netscape 4 (Dear lord, I forgot how much I hate Netscape. ;)), I found the problem, and, as expected, Netscape didn't like my Javascript, which appeared to be standard. So, I went and found something that actually worked (frm.type.selectedIndex instead of frm.type.value). Also, Dr. Trowel mentioned something else I added in... I changed the search terms, so that they did not return redundant pages, previously it would return the same results for date, name, size, rating, and downloads, and occasionally other pages that contain the terms. These terms are much rarer, and so now you get more specific pages. So, EVula, now you only get 6 results.
I think the "all titles" option Is a bit buggy. during one search for "all titles" I got an Ares plug.

Hm. Just noticed that the results window comes up without toolbars (in IE 5.0 in Mac OS 9.2). Did you do that on purpose? I'd rather have the 'bars there, but it's no big deal either way.
