In the early days of the Blue Mushroom Pub, there was talk about making a plugin too. Well, I'm bringing the idea back. I don't have enough time on my hands to actually make the plug, so I ask that someone else make it. To make things simple, make a post with your name, what you want your character to look like, quests from you, and any miscellaneous items. Have fun!

Name: SlaVitiCkus Character: Same picture as the crazy Heldan. Quest: Get me a Dackery. Not as easy as it sounds, because it is randomly dropped only by Cyclops, they took the last of them when they invaded Dernath. (Hey, it seems that hard to get one around here.) Reward: Your choice of 10 additional max stamina, 25 max magic, or 5,000 Experiance points. Misc: Fool around with the Reward numbers if you want, or just make it 5,000-10,000 gold.

Okay, ya, that is a good idea, but for someone to make a new character, new quests, and new items would be a LOT of work especialy considering that everyone ever to make an entry in The Blue Mushroom Pub would come up with a character. Have you ever tried to make a plug-in? If so, you now how much work it is to make the smallest thing. Perhaps if someone made the bar with the drinks and all, then maybe they can also have a selection of characters or a separate plug-in where you can design your own character.

As I'm chronically useless, I know it won't be me making the plug, but if someone ever does take the incredible amoint of time and effort it would take to make the Blue Mushroom Pub...
Name: Raistlin Majere. Character: Black robes, face hidden, bladey staff. Quest: I send asassins of various sorts after the player to test their abilities. The asassins must be either avoided or slain. Reward: Staff of Magius, sans gem, player must somehow find or earn the gem. Misc: If possible, can occasionally be found in wilderness killing critters.

I beleive the upcoming plug RD is making adds new quests, new characters, and new locations.

I think this is a more resonable idea-- I would suggest everyone tell which (built-in) person picture they want and a quote- the person who actually makes the plugin can decide what they want to do. More info is good!

To develop more on the quest of Ron the knight, i have a good story for the hole quest. The story goes like this: (I = Ron the knight)
I have a brother named Omer and me and him became knights, one day we where sent on a quest to save a princess from a feirce dragon, my brother chikened out and me being the brave knight that i am slayed the dragon and was rewarded with a sword of great power and value. But my brother got jelous and decided to steal my sword. after he stole it, he went deep in the wilderness where he found the temple of darkness. Omer though that no one will find him in there, but someone did, actually more than one person found him, a swarm of zombies found him and killed him. After his death, Omer became a Death knight and guards my precious sword with his life.the hero must know retreive the sword.
After the hero kills Omer, Ron says that if the hero needs to save garendall he shall need this sword and rewards him with the sword.
(good story eh?)

I agree that everybody's own character grpahics would be a difficult task. How about the blacksmith in Fantrima then? If possible, give me an Ares helmet. And how hard would it be to give Rawzer a spoon with his character?
EDIT: A new quest to add to the list: convince Rawzer to give me a room. He mostly just babbles on so that when the player begins to tell him, he changes the topic. Oh and rewards for the quests. More marksmanship (which I learned from my space-going days) and a glove I found that allows bow damage to be increased if you have a lot of strength. ------------------ Clones are people two. Perhaps there is a better way to create the plugin. Somebody creates the graphics for the bar, then everyone else creates their own plugin for their character. Feedback?
That is actually a very good idea. Unfourtinitly, if we did that a lot of people would not do it. But, if someone were to make a plug-in where you can design your own character, that would work. There would be a selection of different clothes, shoes, hats, and items to choose from for your character.
Okay, if someone were to make the pub, then how would they connect it over the iternet so that many people can be simotanisly moving around. I guess it would work if the movement were something like that of Arcane Arena, (game over the internet, get from (url="http://"http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/games/arcanearena.html)")http://www.apple.com....canearena.html)(/url) where about every 5 seconds or so it updates the position of your character. Example: you can press left left up left up left and then you are simple there when it updates. Maybe you do move as you press it and my computer is just slow. (Ya, right.)
Actually, maybe this should just be a seperate game entirly. But then we have to get Beenox in on this.

Well sure Slav, that's an idea, but it's bloody boring. "Just a bar in the game"... It would have absolutely no bite to it.
...The original idea was to add a map with the people from the bar in it, I beleive...not an online map.
back to the part where everybody makes there own char... Some people like me cant make there char because coldstone is only for mac. If it was for pc too, thered be many more plug ins (since am always bored and i love creating stuff for games). So that isnt good for people with pcs like me unless that some body with a mac does it for them.

Just give someone with Coldstone all the info and they may be able to do it for you. By the way, does the demo version Coldstone let you make plugins? Paying for PoG is one thing, but Coldstone is a bit pricey for me.
