You'd think testers would've caught such grievous errors though, maybe Beenox also thought such errors beneath their worry? 😛

Rawzer: Are you registered yet? You're probably reaching the end of the area if you're not, and there's LOTS more stuff to do are killing the Cyclopes (remember sy-clo-peas :p) Have fun!

Yup. I beat 'em and racked up a bunch of cash from their campsite (ugly fellas, but well-endowed, huh?). I also took some elven leather armor (20 armor points, replacing my 15 armor before) and two elven daggers. I therefore sold my old armor, but I don't want to sell the daggers, cause, well, they're elven! Elven stuff rocks!

Also, I picked up three green seashells from the beach. I'm assuming they will be of some use to me besides monetary value. Am I right? Or should I sell em?

Oh, and yes, I registered today. 😄 Bought the CD-ROM, too. Hey, it's only five more bucks. Will I get my liscence code through e-mail, though? Or will it come with the CD?

If you're using Trinity, or plan to play with Trinity once you have your license code, keep them. Otherwise, they're just cool things to sell. 🙂

I and several other testers reported pages and pages of typo, spelling errors, and grammatical mistakes during the PoG beta. It was also claimed that all of the game dialogue and text had been given to Ambrosia (a specific person was never named) - on several occasions - for proofreading as well. I have no idea why the problems were never corrected, given the ample notification that Beenox had, but I'm still mad about it.

I believe you. You would think that it would be a hugh embarrassment to somebody that they were made in the first place! We are not talking occasional slip, but rather blatant errors. I can fully understand your obvious frustration. ~RD

Find those areas you missed the first time around. You'll want to explore those hidden areas now made accessible with Spells Expander.

I disagree. I wish that Coldstone was available for Windows as well; a larger base using it means a larger chance of decent plug-ins. Plus, I utilize a PC at least as often as a mac. I wouldn't mind having a copy for windows as I'd be cross-developing often.

Okay, I'm not badmouthing the walkthrough, it's great, really. But I really don't think that the banner (symbol of Garendall) is "just south" of the cave in high Garendall. When I exit the tomb tunnel thing, I find the cave, kill all the dark spirits, head south, and search, but there's nothing. I've searched the whole area of the map. Is there some kind of bug? Am I way off? Is it always in that spot? Any help would be appreciated.

(Also, Stark, the max damage a creature can deal would be a great rescource in the Walkthrough, if you ever have the time. Just a thought. :))

Sorry Rawzer, but if you only just exited the tomb/passageway, you aren't in High Garendall yet. Explore the resto of the map and you'll see what I mean. Though if you really want a spoiler, check out RD's Printable PoG map to see where the real High Garendall is. (see RD's sig for the link, I'm too lazy to look for it :p)

Hey guys. Just so you know, I see all of you bashing the guys for being so bad at spelling. Well, my brother was one of the beat testers for the game, and knows that the programers who wrote everything are German, and I do not believe spoke English very good at the time..... I believe in some ways that makes it worse for them to have people who don't speak english writing it, but just wanted to ley you know.

Unless I'm quite mistaken, Dee Brown is Canadian, not German.

As MickyBis said, you are in the wrong place.

Go back and re-read the directions in the walkthrough, in particular (url="http://"http://stark.evula.net/pogwalkthrough.htm#highgarendall")where High Garendall is located(/url) and also (url="http://"http://stark.evula.net/pogwalkthrough.htm#kn9")where the standard is located within High Garendall(/url).

The directions, in my humble opinion, are quite explanatory. If you still are confused let us know and we'll give further aid.

Geez Stark, a little late, aren't you. That was more than two weeks ago! 😛

In respect to the game designers, as Glenn said, many bug reports were sent, including typo and grammar errors. Even if Beenox were a German company (I'm fairly sure they're not) they could still read beta reports, couldn't they?

Yes, I was able to find everything. I'm a knight, I'm making money and experience faster than the eye can see, goblins fall by my sword like grain in a scythe. The guardian is in the cave I found earlier, correct? I remember exploring the whole thing, almost being killed several times by minotaurs and ice elementals on the way in and out, being stopped by a large gate requiring a key I did not have, and fighting all those dark spirits who rushed me when I got out. If I go in that cave again, I don't want to be coming back out.

Yeah, I suppose so. The topic got revived and I didn't look at the dates preceeding the last post. Saw something that needed correction and corrected it. heh.

Beenox is a Canadian company. Whether everyone is from Canadia(a little American lingo there) or not, I do not know. Looking at Beenox's team roster, name wise, it appears many are of Canadian/French descent. There are also a few Germanic names listed as well.
