Do I dare to dream?

I don't know if any of you remember, but I and a few other people were going to make an EVO TC called Discovery. It fell apart (ignorace, ameteurish arguing amongst the team), but the idea lived on in my brain.

I've SO nearly finished that EV plug, and I have't anything lined up for the future. Think I should take the project again?

Now, with Nova, it really could become a reality. With so many mission bits to play with, I could have the branching storyline I first invisiged for Discovery.

Still, without support, it would take me years on my own.

Thoughts?

I say go for it! Right now! Go ๐Ÿ˜›

But seriously, I would say finish the project for EV first then port it to NOVA. Then everyone can play it while the NOVA version is in development ๐Ÿ™‚

Does it matter?!? It's a TC! There's only one out for NOVA so far, I don't care what its about, it could be a Barney TC and I'd download just because it's a TC. Okay, maybe not a Barney TC, but you get my point.

(starts thinking semi-serriously about a Barney TC, just to see if anyone would download it)

Don't be sorry. I should be sorry, it appears that my 'yelling' was too convincing. I kinda meant it a joke but with a serrious underlay. I just think we need more TC's. I still think a Barney based TC would be funny if not actually fun.

There's life, Jim, but not as we know it, but not as we know it, but not as we know it. There's life, Jim, but not as we know it, but not as we know it now.

There's Klingons off the starboard bow, starboard bow, starboard bow, there's klingons off the starboard bow, and it's getting worse!

Star trekkin' across the universe...

Okay, so I don't quite remember the words, but that's a genius song...

Pistgavin, if you've got a nearly completed EV TC, then I'd go for it when you finish.

Agreed -- finish what you started; it'll mean less work.

(Who did that "Star Trekkin'" song? I used to hear it on Dr. Demento all the time... and just further evidence that the cheesiness of TOS makes it the funnest of the series...)

Just about to say. Thank you.

Once I complete my other projects I shall be making Discovery from scratch. I'll contact Zombat and see if I can get the old team going again (albeit much smaller). New graphics, plots and as many systems as I can make without going mental and rubbing my own nipples off.

I don't make any promises, any deadline or any reassurance. By the time I finish the semi-TC EVO Galaxy Replacer, I'll probably way too knacked to do anything.
