I wanted to play around with inertia for practice making plug-ins. I made the shuttle inertialess by just clicking the button in novatools but, when I tried to make the Raven and Javelin not have inertia by clicking off the button it didn't work, what's the problem? Another question, is there any way to change all the variants of a ship at once. I really don't like having to sift through ships to find every variant.
On a side note, is there any way EVOne will work on OS 8.1?

You may want to check to see if those ships have an outfit that makes them inertialess. As far as I know, there is no way to change all variants at once. As for EVONE, 8 is not supported. It may work, but use it at your own risk.

SP's response is accurate - it may work but has not been tested (mainly because I don't have OS 8 installed).

I'd also make sure you're actually using the correct ship resource for the ship you're flying. Remember that most of the ships have several variants. I think the ones that you can buy in the shipyard are resources that are by themselves - there isn't another ship next to it with the same name when examining the Nova Files.

Did you take into consideration that both the Raven and Javelen are inertialess to begin with? As are the Arrow, Manta, Dart, Striker maybe...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that EVONE used CarbonLib in it's operation - if that is the case then OS 8.6 will be required as an absolute minimum.

I believe OS 8 contained a very early release of CarbonLib, but you are right, it most likely requires 8.6 or higher. As I said before, I really do not know because neither me nor the any of the testers have a version of OS 8 installed.
If anyone has OS 8 and feels like giving EVONE a quick run through, please report back to me how well (or most likely, how not well) it worked.

I downloaded the public beta a while back. I'm running 8.6 and it just froze up the comp when I tried to open it. I'll go try it again when I get home and give you some more details.

Their is no easy way to modify all the varients. You are going to have to go to each one individually and edit it.
