I got Strata 3.02 a while ago now and I still haven't the fogiest how to use it. If anyone has or knows of any SHIP building tutorials than could you please tell me.
Secondly suppose, just suppose... that I make the ship in Strata, how am I supposed to make it of any use whatsoever in EVN or even EV/O?

These links should get you started. Otherwise just mess with the tools in Strata. You're probably best off starting with the tools that resemble a 3D object in the tools pallete, then converting them to bezier surfaces to edit them.

While none of it applies to shipbuilding specifically, you might want to try (url="http://"http://www.strata.com/support/3dmanual/index.html")http://www.strata.co...nual/index.html(/url). It's an online manual for strata 3.0, I'm assume you got a freeware version online and therefore don't have the actual manual. Some things have been cut out but it's still a good starting point for figuring out the basics of modeling.

Thanks for the link. You're right I got the version off EVula's website. I am not sure if I'll be able to use it all as I've got Strata 3.02. But hopefully there isn't much (or any) difference

There is no difference betwen 3.0 and 3.0.2 - 3.0.2 was basically just a bug fix.
Tutorial wise, whats up there is the best there is at the moment. I hope to sometime have a Strata ship building tutorial up but I dont know if or when I will.
