Okay. In the EVN Bible, it says that setting the Murk field to a negative value will be the same as 0 murk, but will also make the starfield disappear. I've got 1.0.1, and it just doesn't work. I've tried every logical value I can think of, -1, -2, -5, -100, -32767, and several numbers in-between. Any ideas why this is happening? And will it be fixed with 1.0.2?

Sure you are visiting the right system? Try editing Sol or something; see if that works. If not, dunno what to say. I personally have never used the murk feature.

He is, I'm working on the system with sc, and have similarly experimented. No matter the value, we cannot get the starfield to dissappear.

Try replacing the star spin (it's in one of the Nova Graphics files) with black.

But that defeats the purpose if you want some systems with stars.
