OOC: Hrmm.. you used to post on the nova bars right? I dont much like the newer bars as much as i did the older ones.. I think i started at Cambrian Cruise Lines than skipped into the Third Universe Bar, and then after that i just stopped, and somewhere in between there and when i started posting again it turned into a webstory. I dunno.. I've yet to come across a good bar like the cambrian. I happen to think the boozerama bar is stupid, and people who post in it write mindless dribble that isnt intelligent in the least. what happened to wits? way back when people used to be witty, now they are either over serious and humorless, or just plain stupid (And not to mention full of blatant copywrite infringements)... I dunno, just my 2 cents...

Is this some sort of Boozerama wannabe bar? Sejuk walks out in disgust.

OOC: Hasn't been like a Boozy bar for 4 or more pages, do you people read or just bash? Anyway I apologize for my extended absence due to final exams and I am glad to see that some people are still participating. Since you are in UE space I'll inform you of a few things that aren't in EVO that may interest you. The Igadzra have been heavily raiding the Molos system due to previous UE attacks, the Voinian border is calm due to heavy losses on both sides in the last major battle, and a group of independent traders labeling themselves The Confederacy has gained trading rights with Voinians, Miranu and Zidagar as well as the UE.
IC:
Riomer system
Tshaya piloted the Trushalo Odj toward the hanger she had previously selected in the pirate base. Though her cargo bay was loaded with foodstuffs she was not hear for merely a trading visit. The name she had gotten from the DSN-6107 system was one Timothy Erickson who had been managing the shipyard in Riomer for several decades, she'd had previous dealings with him so she believed it was likely she'd encounter him again.
"Greetings T! I heard you'd come back with a nice profitable load and I was sure you'd stop by to see your old buddy Tim."
"Hello Tim." Tshaya quickly glances over the lot and spies an Arada that looks like it's in decent external condition. "You mind taking me on a tour of that Arada."
"Excellent eyes T." He began to usher her inside the vessel. "The going rate for one of these is a mil in strand space but this little beut has been upgraded with every speed upgrade known to man, or Miranu." While he laughed at his own joke Tshaya surveyed the pilots chamber, she didn't think it would be hard to get a test drive for this vessel. "Anyway doll, what do you think of my ship?"
"It looks pretty good, but how does it fly?"
"I'll show you T." Tim deftly flipped the communications rig open, "George I've got an eager pilot wanting to see Arada number three in action. I'd be much 'bliged if you'd open the gate for me."
"Roger that boss, docking bay number two open and waiting." The Arada flew magnificently around the docking port and into the smaller exit door. Tim gained permission to leave orbit from the monitoring police and took off for deep space to show the real capabilities of his Arada.
"See doll, we can easily dodge the asteroids without hassle and watch," He flipped open the weapons stick, "we've got top of the line weaponry on this vessel." He begins pouring out neutron fire from the six mounted guns.
"That's pretty impressive, how much are you asking for it?"
"3.6 mil, it's used but it's in great shape."
"Your joking right? My Lazira went for only 5 mil but it would take three of these to take it out. 1.3 mil."
"Now don't be cruel, besides the beautiful primaries we've also got her stocked full of Seek and Destroy projectiles from the strands."
"An entire cargo load might not validate your price, 1.8... Blast."
"I see it, an entire UE fleet. Don't they know we've got an agreement. We don't bother them they don't bother us."
"Maybe they found out about your little sale to the Voinians and want revenge." Tim whirls towards her mouth hanging open.
"How did you... What are you talking about?" He attempts to redeem his slip up but it was too obvious for anyone but an idiot to miss. Tshaya pulls a projectile weapon out of her left boot and aims it at his head.
"You know how many people died because of you. Don't take your hands off that steering stick, go and engage the UE fleet and I won't have to."
"Yes T, but you've got to understand this doesn't have anything to do with that act, I hated it as much as you. We all would have died if we hadn't done something the UE wouldn't have stood for freedom fighters in it's backyard if it didn't have an enemy."
"Who else was involved Tim?
"Just about every pirate worth trusting not to run with the info."
"And one who couldn't be. Goodbye Tim." Tshaya pulled the trigger and piloted the ship into battle with the UE forces by herself. Though the UE were repelled the Arada she was flying did not survive and she had to be rescued from the escape pod Tim had made sure was in his vessel.

Just bash. Puke
Larra shook her head. "I don't believe it."
Ta-vora looked up from the CMD. "You don't believe what?"
"It's been almost three days, and Demon's actually been behaving himself!" Ta-vora's cat eyes narrowed. "You call that behaving? We've had to rescue him at least 20 times from the regeneration chambers." "Twenty-four," a nearby crewmember tiredly corrected him. He happened to be the one who had to save Demon all twenty-four times.
Larra grinned. "It's as close as he gets. I'm surprised he hasn't gotten cabin fever yet." At that moment Demon came racing through the door. Crazily he circled every command desk twice and ran back out of the room. "Correction. I'm surprised it took him so long to get cabin fever." She laughed. "Are we there yet?" The crewman to which her question was directed rolled his eyes and looked at the screen in front of him. "Exactly two minutes later than last time you asked," he said dully.
"Great!" Larra exclaimed. "Only three minutes to go!"

OOC: Hey, don't drive my crewmen crazy. Larra sure is an annoying passenger. I don't think I can write anything before the end of the week. Right now I'm having a writer's blockade and I want to finish some projects I'm working on. You may go on without me.

Deep Space A small ship exited hyperspace with a bright flash, it was damaged and was far below it's usual performance envelope. It was spinning madly. The pilot was facedown on his control console and the passenger was shaking him franticaly to try and bring him back to conciosness. The ship was hurled into a spiral as a wormhole came into view, the ship was drawn in.
Adolphus was shaken awake by a crewman. "Sir! We have lost contact with the Hermes!
ooc: Strauss and Mina have 'left' adolphus will be 'taking over'. Chances are, the fated duo will find their way back here at some point, but they're gonna be elsewhere, hint: Check Thorin Station Bar, im gonna develope a storyline.

OOC: Whaaaa!!! I feel abandoned!!!
A side note, though, on that plan of Harbringers. Valence and I are writing like this current bar is actually after the end of the current Nova bar, Thorin, so I see possible mass confusion in the future....
Places a block of C4 in the Bar then sets it off. Chaos ensues.

A bright flash of light and a thunderclash signal the arrival of the Azula in the Pax-system. System scan. Ta-vora orders. Something's unusual here. According to the map, this system lies still within UE space. But the station is not a UE construction and there are ships of unknown origin around it. According to their transponder signals, they are Voinian. And comparing the station's design with the ships, I'd say that the station is Voinian, too. I thought Voinians and the UE were enemies? They are. Larra answers. The scanners spot five Voinian ships. One with a mass of 1500 tons and four with the mass of 800 tons. There are no UE ships in this system. That's strange. Let's hope they're not hostile. Request clearance for docking as soon as we are in range. Ayie, Kre. We'll enter range in ten minutes. Ta-vora lays his hand onto his chest, apparentally touching something there. Strange, he mumbles, if she were in this system, I would feel it.
Five minutes later. Status of the Voinian ships? They have not broken away from their flight paths. It looks like they're ignoring us. No scanning attempts? No, Kre. Strange. Usually I would expect at least slight curiosity. This is almost suspicious. Are we close enough for a detailed scan of the station? Yes, Kre'Merah. Alright, see if you can find any trace of the Tova Ayemah. Commencing. Some time passes. Scan of the station finished. It is rather primitive, no shields but very strong armor. It is strange, I detect no signs of sensor blockades, but there are areas within the station that out scanners can't penetrate. It looks like they are using a radioactive material that disturbs out sensors. Are any of these areas large enough to cover a ship as large as the Tova Ayemah? Five areas are possible. One is the thicker area in the center. However, this appears to be the command bridge. Then there are two prongs of the upper, as well as two prongs of the lower star-shaped section. Is there any way to penetrate the radiation? Only from the inside. Ataweh! Alright, I'll try my way.
Kre'Merah, we're entering com range. We are cleared for docking. Very well. Proceed with docking sequence. The Azula approaches the station and the navigator adjusts her speed and movement to the station's rotation. There is a humming noise, a short buzzing sound comes from Ta-vora's console and the ship is docked. And what now? Page asks. The Tova Ayemah has a regeneration chamber aboard, as you once noticed yourself. The crystals in there are general matrixes. They are not as complex as personal ones, but the emitt energies that I could not confuse with anything else. And these emissions can not be isolated by radiation. He slips his hand inside his cloak. Is suggest you look away, as I don't know how your psionically able mind is going to react to the emissions of my matrix. It might cause you pain to look at it. Page nods and turns away. Ta-vora pulls out a blue piece of crystal, that is mounted into the socket of a necklace. The crystal seems to glow from the inside. Then he looks at the crystal as if the answer would be written into it. Ta-vora's eyes become turbid. Then they become clear again, he looks up and puts the crystal back inside his cloak. Definitely! he says, The ship is in there. It's one of the upper prongs, the ony with the huge impact mark. But the ship is empty. Ki-jara is nowhere on this station. Ki-jara? Is that the pilot? Larra asks. Yes. I was actually searching for her, not for the ship. The ship was not important. I just thought when we find the ship, we find her. But apparentally I was wrong. Are we trying to get he ship back now? No, who would pilot it? I can't spare any crewmembers and none of you could fly it. We will destroy it via remote control. The officer at the COM speaks up. I'm sorry, Kre'Merah, but the same radiation that blocks the sensors does also block any communication. We need to place a transmitter inside the station as close to the ship as possible. Alright Ta-vora looks at Demon, who suddenly runs onto the bridge again, encircling two stations before running through the exit. While exitting, he knocks over a crewman who came to relieve one of the other officers on the bridge. I think, we should take a break first. Perhaps he's going back to normal, when he can be outside the ship for a while. he says to Larra and Page, What do you think?

A battered freight courier lands near the Azula A boarding ramp lowers from the ship, and a man in a black cloak with a bladed staff over his shoulder steps down the ramp and makes his way to ta-Vora and the rest. He uncovers his face. "My name is Adolphus, I am, or was, strauss' second in comamnd, I regret to inform you all that Strauss and Mina were lost in mid hyperjump, last contact was in a remote nebula, energy scans of the area indicate a hyperdrive malfunction causing the ships hyperspace bubble to collapse, this damaged their ship beyound repair, then we lost contact with the vessel, no distress signal whatsoever. I have inherited command of his flagship and fleet, I would like to join you in finding whatever it is your looking for."
Ta-vora nods to Adolphus. It is indeed a tragedy. My people stopped using hyperspace bubbles years ago as they can influenced too easily from outer phenomena or hardware problems. He pauses for a moment. As for your offer, I would be honored to have you with me. We were searching for a Nujiet Ta Satekah-class Scoutship, named the Tova Ayemah, which means Thousand Wishes. We located the ship on this stations. Apparentally, the Voinians have their hands on it. What we are about to do now is to destroy the ship. To do this, we must place a relay beacon near it to transmit a self-destruct signal. After we did this, we must search on, as the ship was not our real target. We are actually searching for the ship's pilot, who is apparentally not aboard this station. Ta-vora's expression turns to a grin, explosing his sharp cat-like tusks. But before we continue, we just decided to take a break in the local bar. One of my passengers, Larra, has a dog that apparentally does not like long travels aboard starship. He started driving my entire crew mad.
Pariah, Yelts, Riomer, Mavs Throughout a period of several weeks trading vessels accumulated in the south-tip renegade systems. Due to the trading initiatives the Confederacy had taken pirates profit increased dramatically. No trading vessel was willing to leave without a cargo and they competed for prices eventually buying medical supplies and luxury goods at more than three times their typical sale price in renegade space. Eventually the heavily burdened ships turned to leave.

"And now he's driving the entire bar mad," Larra added cheerfully, coming up behind Ta-vora just in time to finish his sentence. "What now?" Page asked. His question was answered when a Voinian opened the door to the bar and exited, allowing the group outside to hear a loud chorus of: "Stacey's mom, has got it goin' on!"
"He rigged the jukebox," Larra said dryly, as if that particular explanation was actually needed. "Do you have to destroy the ship we were looking for?" "Well we can't get it off the station, remember?" Ta-vora pointed out. She rolled her eyes. "Minor details. But you should at least search it. Maybe you'll find a clue to where the pilot is!" "Ta-vora frowned. "The Voinians might be guarding the ship, though. It's not exactly from around here, if you hadn't guessed. Larra shrugged. "Neither is my ship. But..." she trailed off, looking off towards the docking bay, and the others almost swore they could see a light bulb appear above her head Turning, they saw nothing except the usual traffic. "....But Demon and I could pull a distraction that would get almost every Voinian off the station!" The catlike humanoid stared at her. How? Larra grinned evilly. Youll see. But itll give you time to explore the ship with minimal interference. What do you think?
OOC: If Ta-vora agrees, any of the other characters can go along with Larra and Demon if they want. Just let me know, and be prepared to get in big trouble.
OOC: well if big trouble follows Page could always blow up another station : ) cooking up a post.. will have one in a day or two.
OOC: The problem is that noone of you would be able to fly the ship and Ta-vora can't spare a single crewmember.
Ta-vora thinks about Larra's suggestion for a moment. Okay, you could be right. But try to not do any lasting damage to the station or its crew. I don't want to get into too much trouble with the Voinians. Not yet By the way, what's the matter with your dog? I hope his behaviour just comes from the fact that he hates space travel. I forgot to mention it before, but itt happened a few times that the recreation matrixes in a chamber influenced the minds of some people who were not used to them. And this is not always reversible.
Larra laughed. "Don't worry about Demon. He's just really bored, and there's nothing for him to do on your ship. But I think my plan will relieve his boredom without damaging the station. Don't worry...much." She rubs her hands together, grinning evilly. "Okay, whos going with Ta-vora, and who's going with Demon and I?"
OOC: This is going to be fun....
