Man, I guess if my computer wasn´t in the fritz, I would of wanted to contribute some some ship designs. I was considering using some of them I had that were used in some of the plugins I created. But I think it´s kind of too late for it.

I checked. Well designed site (nice to look at), and screenshots and videos are cool, altough I did check videos when it still was a UNIX directory listing.

I remember back when this was a little barely-known project, with all the signs of being a fly-by-night dream. It's come a long way since I was last here, it seems. All graphics look very, very impressive (except maybe the Igazra -- the thing already looked like a gigantic space-cough but with the upgrade it seems to shout the resemblance. Hey, I just realized, I don't think I recall ever meeting a single female Igadzra the whole mission string....Anyway, I digress.)
This thing looks like it might boost the sales of Ares a little bit. Before I looked at this plug, I had no idea the game was capable of anything like this -- although I knew admittedly little about Ares in the first place.
As for the timing, I'm happy yet sad. I come back just at the tail end of the project, which is good, cause I hate anticipating things like this -- I just enjoy trying them. On the other hand, you're telling me it will be finished just about the exact time I'll be leaving the country for months. You evil, evil Jedi! (No real arguable or even commentable point to this paragraph, just added it as my two cents.)
Anyway, a job well done all around so far. I congratulate ya, in my own rambling way.

It was indeed rambling. Why must people always joke of the look of the Igazra? Its simply shaped as a tube. And Jedi? But he does encourage. For example he says that the graphics are good.

I was only teasing good-naturedly. I am genuinely impressed with almost every aspect of the game so far, particularly the graphics, as you seem to have understood. The Igzara has simply always amused me.

Aye, I've got some big tests coming up soon so I've gotta get prepared for those (hopefully they'll be out of the way in a few weeks). We've really almost finished up all the graphics with a few exceptions - the levels are what we need to work on now.
When I opened this topic, I expected to be the other way around - a port of the Ares scenario to EVO. That would also be cool. But yeah, multiplayer EVO .... at least sort of ... drools
