favorite ship: Lazira, for the versatility in a small, relatively quick package. favorite escort: Crescent warships, though haven't tried any Adzgari warships. most feared: A draw between disco bison (tried that machine gun in a plug in, and dude...), Gadzair's defense fleet (I last 5 seconds, max, afterburning the other way), and large groups of Adzgari Warships.

Hey, that's cool. Just about all I do in my free time is projects relating to World War II (primarily drawing military machines (tanks and aircraft)).
I'd kill Hitler myself, but not for the sake of diminishing amounts of homework. I'd take a WWII project any day...

Why?: It stays out of the way while the fighters and I do the dirty work. Feared: Voinian Cruiser. NeonSoldier, thanks, I much prefer it when people will admit which ship they hate fighting the most. It's so annoying when people like to pretend that nothing has ever caused them any concern, isn't it?
Cold: fighter pilots who aren't clever enough to realise which ships can blow them up easily aren't very good fighter pilots. But I suppose since it's an Enhanced Azdara, it is fairly difficult to find anything nasty. When I first got the Exp. Shield Generator in a Crescent Fighter, I was appalled by my own near invincibility. I quickly got rid of it...

And who says you can't customize? You'd change your mind pretty quick if those were Neutron Turrets or Emalgha Turrets, as opposed to Phase turrets.

Most folks stick with the phase turrets, since they are devestating to any other race besides the Voinians. I do often stash neutron turrets onto my Igazra if I'm going to pay the Voinians a visit.

Yeah, but I do most of my fighting in the Crescent, so phase turrets are my best choice.

United Earth / Voinian weapons just make me want to laugh and cry at the same time
I've gone around in UE cruisers in the middle of the UE string, armed with phase turrets and dispersal rockets. I just wish there was an option for certain ships to be "immune" to certain weapons... (other than Nova's planet-ships)
My favorite ship is the UE Dreadnought...though some could claim that's a cheat because I used the Reign of the UE Plug-in to get it. Excluding that, my favorite's the Arada because it's so wonderfully versatile. The Zidara isn't too bad either.
Although I've never HAD them as escorts, I'd say that I'd either go for the Voinian Dreadnought or a UE Cruiser. I suppose the best way to get a UE Cruiser as an escort would be to buy it, but capture another ship and use the UE Cruiser as your escort.
The ship I most dread would be an Azdagari Warship. I can handle the Azdaras they shoot out, though, but they annoy me. It's mostly fleets of Azdagari Warships or Crescent Warships that I'd dread.
There seems to be a unanimous fear of Azdgari Warship fleets, and yet, they're my favorite ship/escort.
