Personally, I think that Nova cheated with the budget.
The Igadzra are well known for having lots of very fertile land, and I think they should have a better income (3 million a day at least)
Also, with only a few million a day, it'd take nearly a week to build a single warship. I suggest the income figures are multiplied by 10.

You do know of course, that the ships only cost half the EVO price in RPG's...

Let me clarify about the economy. Silverdragon: ships cost half. Sorry for not making it clear. Anyway, you would have three mil, but you're doing a research project, which subtracts -1 mil initially and 1 mil per day. Bigger projects, (8 posts or more) take up 3 mil initially, and 1.5 mil per day.
MOVES:
New research project: Tachyon Beam. ETC: 6 posts.
The Tachyon beam is an improved version of the Phased Beam. It has been modified to take up very small amounts of fuel, and its power is 1.5 times that of a Phased Beam. It is also fairly effective against armor, though not as effective as it is against shields. - 1 mil.
Lots of new Zidaras are being made.

Dark Tide will (hopefully) have a sequel eventually. And as some of you (or at least one of you) may know, I'm also working on the sequel for Red Horizon.
SilverDragon; Nova is by no means cheating. The Azdgari get lots of credits by raiding, and he's not researching anything. On the other hand, you are researching something and you need to build Igazras which take up lots of credits.
Actually, in my own opinion, I think we should just get rid of the economy report.

Freighters into the fleet pick up and deliver some 'classified cargo', picking it up at his fleet's headquarters (just a medium-sized military fortress on Hizdriar occupied by scientists, engineers, pilots, and chip-above-the-rest marines from many different races, complete with a moderate shipyard), as well as other purposes.
