Titan sends a large fleet to the Avann system to begin building an outpost.

------------------
However, the way to Avann is a long and dangerous. At Alpha Centauri a UE Destroyer in the fleet was taken out by a Voinian Cruiser, and damage was done to the other ships in the fleet. In Bakka, without the protection of other UE vessels because Outpost Alpha was destroyed, a large Voinian battlegroup attacked the fleet and took out several more UE vessels. Finally, as the exhausted UE fleet entered the DSN-9418, they were met by a terrifying sight.
Six massive fleets of Voinian vessels were preparing to leave to Grenits when the UE came. The Voinians had set up and outpost on the planet in the system, the UE had forgotten about it, and now they had run into a deathtrap.
The battle lasted only one hour, and it that short period the UE fleet was totally annihilated by the much larger six Voinian fleets. Avann was lost by the UE.
-----------------
Titan, trying to set up a base in Avann is suicide. The entire UE frontier is destroyed, giving your fleet no extra protection. Second, the Voinians have bases on almost all sides of Avann, so even if you were able to set up a station in Avann with the Voinians constantly attacking you, it wouldn't last long. Besides, I already stated that the Voinians were builidng up a large amount of ships.
First off, to Carno, the fighter used its cloaking device to slip by your forces, and there was an Igadzra sensor array installed on Fighter, allowing it to gain access to the hyperspace routes to the Ji. I haven't noticed you developing technology to get past cloaks, and since the Fighter didn't attack anything you have no gripe.
Second, to Carno, the UE Frontier is well defended by large numbers of ships that are as powerful as the Voinian's ships. A new Outpost Alpha is being built in the previous one's location, and the Voinian would lose many ships in any major incursion into UE space. Although I agree that the base on Avann was beyond our protection, I resent your statements that the UE frontier has been smashed by the Voinians.
Third, to Captain Blackhawk, what new weapons did you steal? The only new weapon we really have is the Crystal Ray, which is one-of-a-kind.
Fourth, to Entropy, all right, then I guess we haven't developed a counter. I assumed that it was a plague, sorry. My bad. But how would it leave areas uninhabittable for 10 years or whatever? I suppose I fail to understand. Could you clarify?

Sorry Samurai, but you're wrong. For a LONG time I've been saying that my scientists have been working on a Cloak Sensor.

The bacteria deestroy most buildings, vehicles, trees, animals, people, etc. After there is little left in the area except for the toxic gas the bacteria secretes, it forms an endospore and becomes dormant. When anything enters the area, the bacteria come out of hibernation...
PS- Carno, I now control Unobot. Please make the changes when you next release the map

I've started mining asteroids in the DSN 2131 system, where the rock originally was situated. They are being dragged to the AlpoPo for refining and processing of their ores. +.1 million

I've send the Glorious All-mighty 65th Renegade Conquering Fleet (The Crimson Scimitars, also known as the "boastful boneheads," (31 ships) in addition to the 13th, 31st, and 39th away wings (7 ships each) to capture Motif. More news as it happens.
We really need someone to be in control of the Igadzra, what with so many factions fighting against them but no leader to make them preform surprise attacks or conquer planets, it seems unlikely that they will survive until the end of the game.
Upon the arrival of the UE forces at Mira, Thunder hands the Terminus Crystal to a UE commander and gratefully accepts the payment from the UE. Eager to tell his crew about the news, Thunder rushes down to the docking bay where he finds two Zidagar men standing by his ship. One he'd never met before, the other was Salvane.
"We've finished installing the Zidagar Systems Upgrade on the S.S. Affirmation." Salvane told Thunder. "Thanks again for your help."
"It was no problem." Thunder replied. "I'm glad I could help out."
After chatting with Salvane for a couple minutes, Thunder boarded the Affirmation but found that his crew was nowhere on board. Exiting the shipp again, Thunder found Salvane still outside, talking to the other Zidagar.
"Um... you haven't seen my crew, have you?"
"Oh, they went down to the bar to celebrate."
"Thanks!" Thunder said, heading off toward the bar. Upon entering the Mira spaceport bar, he was surprised at the number of people there. Dozens of Strandless and Zidagar could be seen, none of whom looked very happy. Thunder found his friends on the other side of the bar, in a booth by a window. "Hey guys!" he called out. "Guess what?"
"What?"
"The UE just gave us 2 million credits for our help!"
"Are you serious?"
"Totally serious! I just checked our bank account to be sure! We've got over 3 million credits in there now!"
"Wow... what will we do with all that money?" Thunder's tactical officer asked him.
Thunder thought for a second, then looked around the bar. All those Zidagar and Strandless; he knew why they were here now. They were refugees. They had been driven from their homes by renegade, Corocian, and Azdgari attacks. They were innocent. They had done nothing to deserve this fate. Now Thunder knew what his answer should be. "We should do something to help all these people. This is a chaotic galaxy, full of war and stryfe. If we can make a positive difference, then it's our responsibility to do so."
"What do you suggest?"
"A space station." Thunder said. "A city in space. A place open to people of all races. It will be open to traders from all across the universe, and would have living space for some of those displaced from their homes. It will be a spot of tranquility and peace in an otherwise turbulent universe. A safe haven where people can come to trade, work, and even live."
Thunder was shocked by applause as he finished talking. Looking up, he saw that a crowd of at least 20 Zidagar and Strandless had gathered around his table, and were now applauding his idea wildly. After the applause subsided, a Strandless man spoke. "This is perhaps the best idea I've heard in months. There are many who have been displaced by war and stryfe, left with our ships and our assets, but no place to call home. We are people who need most a new home and a new life. Your space station would give us just that opportunity. All of us here would be willing to help you build your station, and there are others who would jump at the chance to be a part of this. We're not looking to get rich or to regain our worlds, just for a place to live; a place to call home. Together we can surely scrape together the supplies and expertise necessary to complete this project. The only other thing we'll need is inspiration and leadership... and you've just proven yourself qualified in both those fields. So, what are we waiting for? Let's join together and make this dream of yours a reality!"
"Okay," Thunder said, looking over the continually growing crowd around his booth. "Let's do it!"
A cheer arose from the crowd, and after several minutes of excited chatter and celebration, they all left together and headed to the docking bay.
------------------ If you hadn't screwed up my past, your future wouldn't be like this!
The Corocians didn't do a thing to the Zidagar, but they will now.

(QUOTE)Originally posted by Captain Carnotaur: (B)<Message to Entropy, Kiwi, and Voinian Empire> <Encryption Level Sierra Tango 527> <All ships, ATTACK!> <End Message>
All at the same time, Saalia, Qerid, Pozdag, Tmidor, Priat, and Hizdriar came under immediate attack by Renegade, Azdgari, Voinian, and Corocian vessels. Even systems that were not to be taken over were attacked just to overwhelm the enemies defenses and throw them into mass chaos. In almost every single UE system, at least five Renegade or Voinian ships attacked just to confuse the UE. In almost every single Miranu system, four or five Azdgari, Corocian, or Renegade ships attacked.
Hizdriar, being relatively undefended, was easily taken by the orocian 14th Fleet-8 ships, Renegade 72nd Fleet-34 ships, and Voinian 200th Fleet - 19 ships. The attacking forces suffered relatively small casualties, and soon Hizdriar was safely in Renegade hands.
Qerid was easily surrounded by the Corocian 11th Fleet-20 ships, Renegade 8th Fleet-29 ships, and tAzdgari 21st Fleet-50 ships. Ships poured into the system and attacked from multiple vectors. The Miranu defenders were overwhelmed almost before they knew they were under attack. Qerid and Hizdriar were easy victories, but there were more hard ones to come.
Priat came under attack by the Voinian 8th Fleet-11 ships, Renegade 3rd Fleet-20 ships, and Corocian 1st Fleet-30 ships. The pitiful Miranu Crescent fighters were easily blown out of the sky by the superior Voinian, Renegade, and Corocian vessels. Then Station Pybin was attacked. In the mass confusion, a Voinian frigate collided with it, destroying half the station. Then, Corocian ships moved in and completely destroyed the station. Once they were finished, the attacking ships immediately left and headed towards Tmidor, Pozdag, and Saalia to help the attacking forces there.
Then Tmidor came under heavy attack from the Corocian 13th Fleet-9 Ships, Renegade 2nd Fleet-21 ships, and Renegade 102nd Fleet-23 ships. The Zachit were overwhelmed, routed, and then slaughtered. As the last six Zachit vessels regrouped near the actual planet, the Corocian and Renegade forces charged them...
Same was the story with Pozdag, which was under attack from the Corocian 12th Fleet-10 ships, Renegade 80th Fleet-30 ships, and Azdgari 22nd Fleet-51 ships. The Miranu and Zachit ships there were slaughtered, and the Corocians, Azdgari, and Renegades charged them, annihilating the last remaining defenders once and for all. Then, the attacking ships began to bombard the planet...
The fleets attacking Saalia were the Voinian 7th Fleet-42 ships, Corocian 15th Fleet-9 ships, and Renegade Fleet (I forget the name)-21 ships. The UE were easily overwhelmed, already busy with attacks throughout their space. The UE ships were destroyed, and the attacking ships began to bombard the planet...
--------------
NOTE: Just remember that I have not said where the Demon and Apollyon are. They could pop up just about anywhere and defend the attacking ships, though if anyone else controls where I have those ships appear will have their post revoked. I am the only one who can control the Demon and Apollyon.
ANOTHER NOTE: I have given the Miranu and UE a chance to defend themselves, and so remember to do the same thing for the attacking Renegade, Corocian, Azdgari, and Voinian forces.
Carno one thing, YOU DON'T CONTROL THE VOINIANS!
Oh yes I do. Since the Voinians have no controller, i'm commanding them until someone else who likes the Voinians and hates the UE and Miranu comes along.
I guess Redchigh left. Carno how come in both Red horrizen and Dark Tide your government was the strongest?
I don't know about Dark Tide, but in Red Horizon my government was one of the smallest and weakest. Nova6, who controlled the Voinians, and Thunder, who controlled the Kayians, were much stronger than I was.
Coming out of hyperspace, Thunder looked over the empty DSN-6849 system. No asteroids, not claimed by any government, and positioned in a central location in the galaxy, it had all the perfect qualities for a refugee and trading station. Soon the system was no longer empty, the silence broken as dozens of ships joined the S.S. Affirmation in system. What had begun with Thunder and five ships of Strandless and Zidagar refugees had grown into a veritable fleet, over 70 ships representing Zacha, Miranu, Zidagar, Emalghans, Human independants, and even a couple normally reclusive Igadzra vessels. Even five Kayan (that's the proper spelling of "Kayan" btw... :D) joined the fleet, after their long journey up and down the Crescent, seeking to escape persecution.
Hailing the fleet, Thunder spoke. "Okay, everyone, we're here; this is the spot. We'll start construction at coordinates -753 by 442. Before we start, I'd like to thank all of you who joined us to make this possible. Together we'll build a safe haven for all races to come, live, trade, and escape the troubles of the turbulent galaxy. Now, all ships converge on the construction coordinates, and let's get started!"
Firing his engines, Thunder led the fleet to the coordiates, where he deployed two surplus force field generators he'd managed to buy on Mira for the project. They were a necessity for building in space. After the force field generators were active, a Miranu freighter adjusted it's sheilds and passed through the force field, and began filling the space inside with a nitrogen-oxygen-argon-helium mixture, suitable for breathing. Within ten minutes the area was filled with air, and construction crews began to enter the area and two human freighters began to unload metal from their cargo holds, ready to get the construction underway.
Thunder accessed his inventory, checking out his cargo manifest. He had several tons of equipment on board (the computer core he'd bought on Blaga for use in the station had cost him almost 230,000 credits), as well as a ton of food and quite a bit of metal. Scrolling down, he found the item he was looking for: a message bouy he'd specially programmed himself. Entering the launch code, Thunder watched as the bouy deployed into space, and automatically activated. It would transmit a message to anyone who entered the system (like the message bouys in EVO that say "This is Voinian Space, Emalgha beware" or "This space is under the protection of the Zachit, renegades beware!")
Hailing the bouy, Thunder checked to see that the signal was working. His hail was immediately greeted with a recording he'd prepared himself, "This system is the future site of Station Unity, a safe haven, refugee center, and trading outpost open to all races and governments. Please keep clear of the construction zone and do not interfere with construction work. Thank you for your cooperation."
Satisfied that the bouy was working properly, Thunder turned his attention back to the construction. Already several construction workers had exited their ships and began splicing metal beams together. Off to the side, a group of Zidagar fighters and and Emalgha warship could be seen entering the system, eager to join in the project. The construction of Station Unity was underway...
------------------ A hatch opened up and the aliens said, "We're sorry to learn that you soon will be dead, But though you may find this slightly macabre, We prefer your extinction to the loss of our job."

Titan and his allies were extremely surprised to see the NT renegade flagship Silver Sky Whale, accompanied by full escort, hyper into the system. Before the angry Kayans had chance to attack, it broadcasted over the all-frequency com system: "We wish you luck in your endeavor. Although many in this universe would stop you, we shall not. Good luck." It then vanishes into hyperspace, leaving Thunder confused, dazzled, and 1 million credits richer.
64.70 million, gb 2.55 m/d.
64.70m, gb 2.55 m/d. The Anacondas and Asps have gone into production. The Asps are about as strong as an Arada, but faster, with 4 blaze cannons, and needle missiles. Immediate usage results in +.2 million/day for me from the Anacondas and +.1 million from the Asps. As usage increases, so will profits. 65m, gb 2.85 m/d.
I'm spending .5 million credits to improve needle missile sensor arrays, therefore making them harder to jam. 64.2 m, gb 2.55 m/d.
