"Let him go, but make sure he doesn't try anything." The guards let Rooster go, but keep their weapons trained on him. "What is it you want to talk about? You have my word that you won't be hurt unless you try to hurt me."
------------------ (url="http://"http://pub29.ezboard.com/b20")Don't click here.(/url) The Person who misspells "Voinian" knows not of the 50 gigaton nuke coming at their cranium.
My objective is to live forever. So far so good.
Rooster: "My people see yours as a victim of circumstance, that Raman enclosure forces you to fight us for survival. Is this true, or is it that you believe we deserve to be dominated?" Rooster stood without weapon or protection, only the Pultaq set to cloak him on command if something happens.
(The Silverfleet has been given to the Guardians, and Silverfleet space is now Corocian. Please make these map corrections.)
------------------ It is not fear that will destroy you, but the absence of it.
(This message has been edited by roostersw (edited 12-22-2000).)
"I am partly fighting you for survival, and partly because you destroyed the Voinians. I have no quarrel with any but the Oasen if not for the fact that you are allied with the Oasen. I could be convinced to at least become neutral if I may have Voina and Mihal and protection from a Hinwar invasion while my forces move there. All I ask for are the two places that the Voinians are intitled to. The Homeworld and the coloney founded by Voinians."
Okay, I edited one of my posts and accepted the recapture of Zilma and Blaga. But I still think that I should have more warships than just 150.
-------------
Suddenly, Captain Carnotaur steps out from the shadows and holds up his hands in peace. "Good thing I found you. I've been looking for you for days."
"What is it?" Rooster asks.
"I wanted to ask for a cease fire."
Rooster replies...
------------------ To Escape Velocity: Nova and Beyond! -------------- Millennium. Its coming, prepare for it. Coming to the (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiaSW.com/games/ev/chronicles.html")EV Chronicles(/url).
To Rooster: I will try to follow the rules more carefully. I looked over my posts and edited a few that I thought were incorrect.
However,
It seems to me that you dislike my instantly taking over lots of planets. However, you seem to always "happen to pop up" in a system with barely any Azdgari ships in them. You act like there is only at maximum 4 Azdgari warships in 1 system at 1 time. That is incorrect. I have more than enough warships to put 8 Azdgari warships in one system at 1 time. If you look at the map, and put in the factor that I control the entire south tip, Igadzra space, and Zidagar space, I have more than enough planets to get more than enough resources to easily construct much more than just 150 warships.
MODERATION: Thanks, Carno. Glad we could be adult about this. You are entitled to 300 cruiser class vessels. This does not count Aradas, Azdaras, etc. Your 8 ships to a system is also reasonable. Please advise us as to what areas are more heavily fortified (borders, attack zones). This is just for user info, our characters won't know this, and i will do the same. If i had known you saw those distant systems as vulnerable, i would have accounted for that. I also had a problem with your first post on this page, but those outposts could be ready by now i suppose. Carnotaur is no longer suspended and may post freely.
Corocian fortification is strongest around Zachit, Hatuli, and Molos.
CONTINUATION: Rooster: "The Oasan rule was welcomed, Lonevoinian. The voinians overthrew the leaders and appointed Oasa as their new leader. I'm sure if you go to Voina you can see that. I'll have one of my High Cruisers escort you through Corocian space to Voina, and then all three of us can meet on Aluzair, neutral territory. Agreed?"
"Agreed. I will depart as soon as I can. But are you sure it was the Voinians who overthrew the leaders? Or was it the slaves?
Uhhh, Rooster, you don't control Zachit. I do. I always have. I always will. Zachit is in far too good a stratiegic position to just be thrown away.
I also disagree with you about giving the Silverfleet away. I don't exactly disagree with you giving away their systems, however, I do disagree with you giving away the Silverfleet. How about just giving away all their systems except for F-25 and Daedalus could keep the Silverfleet. How about that?
----------------
Meanwhile, Captain Scorcher is still investigating the North Tip Asteroid belt...
...And suddenly, an alien fleet uncloaks around Captain Scorcher!! The lead ship then hails Scorcher. "This is Captain Rogvan, I have orders to escort you to our capital."
Scorcher, seeing he is outnumbered, agrees and the fleet hyperspaces into a new system. There, he sees a large number of alien warships. The alien fleet escorts Scorcher into another system, their capital, and his three Azdgari warships land on the desert (but still highly populated) planet.
Once he lands, Scorcher walks out, and is met by security guards, who then escort him to the capital and into the capital building. There, he sees an unusually tall and muscular alien. He speaks: "Welcome to the Rogue Empire homworld. We are the Rogue, a slightly small but technilogically advanced alien race. We have been watching you. We possess superior cloaking technology. And now, we want to aid you in your conquest of the galaxy. We Rogue have a saying, conquering is life. Will you accept our offer? While our ships may not be the best in the whole galaxy, there are good, and an easy match for any Igazra and most other heavy warships. If you accept, we will also give you our multiphasic ion beam, and some of our cloaking technology. Will you accept?"
------------------
Scorcher replies: "Yes."
"Very good," the Rogue emporer replies. "We will send you 70 of our best warships. You decide where to put them. I will also load our multiphasic ion beam and cloaking technology aboard your ship."
I agree entirely that Zachit is yours and very well fortified...that's why i have extra protection in the systems surrounding it. Sorry if i was unclear. Daedalus did say that he wanted me to give away his stuff, he's probably on vacation for Christmas. I can however say that as long as Daedalus is an ally of the Corocians, he may maintain F-25 and make any claims around it.
Nova, i'm afraid we aren't accepting any new fully formed nations. You may however create a new one, but you would not have 70 warships yet. If Carno wants to do away with one of his numerous nations, i can find a spot for you. Please also announce your people's location and don't exceed any farther east than Rama, west than Oasa, or south than Artaia.
CONTINUATION: Rooster, Carnotaur, and Lonevoinian sat snug in the circular habitat compartment of the small Pultaq. Both Rooster and Carno committed signatures to the fighter, so it could bypass patrols from both sides. This time, only 8 hours passed the entire voyage to Voina. They landed, welcomed by Oasan soldiers. The people were going about their lives, smiling and talking, more so than before the occupation. Anyone could be impressed by the positive change.
Here is some info on the Rogue:
The Rogue own seven systems, the three closest to the asteroid field are Reilge (Reelge), Makkar, and Retor. The others are Reema, Regzok (Reg-zok), Letrare (Let-rare), and Reuge (Ree-ooge) their capital. Carnotaur will be posting a map soon. Their systems are by the side of North tip asteroid field close to Carnotaur.
The Rogue's hand-held weapons aren't very good, however, they can spit acid out of there mouths, the acid is very good at dissolving organic stuff, once it's on you, you don't have a chance. They are also resistant to most kinds of acid.
The Rouge's ships are very powerful (As stated in my earlier post). They have three types: Attack ship, Destroyer, Cruiser. The Attack ship and Destroyer have cloaking devices. The Attack ship has the weakest of their beams but it is still deadly, and it has the speed and turning of an Azdara, and the strength of a Zidagar fighter (Almost). The Destroyer has the strongest of their beams, and it also has disruption pulse that disables almost any ships shields quickly(but it has a relatively short range). The cruiser has 5 Phase disruption turrets (Which are a combination of Neutron and Phase, they are a little bit weaker than Neutron but almost have the accuracy of Phase). They also have an Attack ship bay which carry 4 Attack ships (Or 3).
The Rogue can also seal almost any cuts very quickly.
Just a reminder, the Rogue have been existent for 300 years so far (Just no ones discovered them).
Rogue ships also have excellent armor regeneration. To them, armor is just like a second layer of shields, and can be regenerated relatively quickly.
I hope I can include them.
P.S. I'm not to good at this so I won't post a bunch.

"Hmmm... They are much better off then when I last saw them. But what are the Oasen doing different to make them so happy? The Voinian Empire treated its fellow Voinians with luxury surpassed by none. Let us go to the meeting place."

Okay, I'll downgrade them, however, the Rogue are extremely fast ship builders, so they have a lot of ships to spare. How about they give Carnotaur 45 ships. Is that OK? Aslo, they are not fully formed yet, they have only been existant for a little longer than the U.S. has.
If you mean just north of Azdgari, roughly between them and Rama, the Ancara reside there. If you wanted to settle in the north, it would have to be north of Qerid. However, the Ancara are the only ones not listed on the starmap, any other areas are ok.
CONTINUATION: Rooster and Lonevoinian went back to the C.W.S. Jakar , the warship in which they arrived. It entered hyperspace toward Aluzair. After it passed through the Valos checkpoint and entered Jax, a Raman patrol disrupted their hyperspace trail, forcing them out of hyperspace. This was a standard warship, but strong enough to easily take the small Corocian escort ship. It fired numerous photon blasts to the rear of the small cruiser, crippling it's hyperspace engines. There was no hope for the Corocian ship, as it tried to evade the fire. Hull burst apart and officers flew from the exposed sections. The Jakar tried to return fire, but was hit along the bow again. Lonevoinian came to the Ops Deck and yelled to open a channel. Lonevoinian: "Raman vessel, this warship is under the protection of the Ghystarthns. Hold your fire immediately!" Raman Commander: "Oh, i see what's going on. Rama will be quite pleased to hear what you've been doing!" They closed the channel and hyperspaced away. Lonevoinian: "My people will perish if Rama thinks i'm a traitor!" Rooster: "I know we're trying to bring peace, but blood may have to spill first." Lonevoinian: "Whatever it takes!" Rooster signals the comm officer. "Open channel, fleetwide! Any available High Cruisers converge on the Raman warship in Grid 5-046, priority alpha!" Comm: "Recieving transmission." Captian: "This is High Sergeant Talask of the Corocian High Cruiser Palabri, i'm converging on the target." Tactical: "Signature locked, Commander. I'm putting it on the screen." On the vidscreen shown the spacial grid with the Raman ship and it's hyperspace line. Soon a slipstream corridor containing the Palabri shown on the side, and moved closer to intercept the Raman ship. The Corocian warship disrupted the hyperspace trail just as before. The screen showed ion and photon discharges, the faint blinking of the Raman ship's signature, and then...nothing. Talask: "Enemy down, Commander. We've taken heavy casualties, we're headed for Molos." Rooster: "It's over. Peace may now come, but not by Rama's hand." The ship continued on to Aluzair, where Carnotaur was waiting for conference....
Here is the totally new and updated map: (url="http://"http://www.pautsch.com/games/graphics/lbs2map.gif")http://www.pautsch.c...ics/lbs2map.gif(/url)
It is getting WAY too big. To Anyone who wants to make a new race: please make its space small. It don't want to enlarge this PICT any more.
-----------
When they arrive on Aluzari, Carnotaur is waiting. After hearing Roosters story, Carnotaur smiles. "Don't worry. Rama may be strong, but I am stronger. Along with my Izgari and Rogue allies, I think Rama will listen if I try to explain this whole thing to him, and I think my Agzarai friends will back me up too."
Carnotaur suddenly pulls Lonevoinian aside and goes into a dark corridor where Rooster can't hear them. "Lone, about the Voinians, do you think Osa using mind controllers on them? Our scientists have speculated on the theory and idea, but came up with nothing. What do you think?
"Also, Captain Scorcher discovered a new alien race called the Rogue," and then Carnotaur fills Lonevoinian in on all that the Azdgari know about the Rogue.
"What do you think of them?" Carnotaur asks.

There are no independent nations in the Corocian area. Ariare, Talii, Omm, and Hatuli are Corocian territories. Huron and Helios are Keninati. When you redo the map again, please try to condense the Artaian territories. Don't cut anything out, but just give them standard jump distances.
I don't think I'll be able to condense those Artaian Empire systems for a while.
To Rooster: Sorry about not giving those independent systems the correct governments. I'll fix it.
P.S. Also, did you notice how BIG I am? Always remember while posting about me, I am big and I am strong!!
The conference was an overall success, the three made political speeches and such, but still there was no peace. Rooster deliberated with his people and came back with a rather high strung pact for peace to be had. Rooster wanted Azdgari forces out of all Miranu space, and the former-renegade systems. He also wanted Corocian forces to have unrestricted passage to their outposts on the Azdgari-Raman border. He wanted for the Azdgari to break all ties with the Ramans and to assist in fighting the Ghystarythns' way out of Raman areas. He did not seriously expect these terms to be met, but he wanted to take peace all the way. If not, blood would spill, as he said before, but on a higher scale....
fight! fight! fight!
