LBS 2: The Prophecied Light

Seeing this threat from the Kenienati, Carnotaur puts phase 2 of the Azdgari expansion into motion.

Azdgari forces quickly set up military bases in Smott, DSN-7903, DSN-1154, and DSN-9608, which effectively seals off the Corocian base at DSN-8619. Then, Carnotaur sends 20 Raman cruisers and 30 Azdgari warships to the DSN-8619 system, to attack. The Raman/Azdgari fleet surprised the Corocians there, and soon the base was quickly overwhelmed. Speed, and the element of surprise helped the Azdgari in their first real attack on the Corocians, even though it wasn't much of a one.

Then the Azdgari prepare to move closer in on the Corocians.

I didn't get through half of your post before i found two rule violations. You need to:

1. Take up a maximum only one week's overall action (building, developing) and one day's internal action (fighting, habitat).
2. Restrict your tech and civil advances to the same timeline.

Please edit or rewrite your post.

CURRENT NAVAL STATS: (in number of cruiser class vessels)

Azdgari - 150
Corocian - 120
Raman - 80
Silverfleet - 60
Guardian - 40

Corocian Support - 280
Raman Support - 230

CONTINUATION: In response to the pleas of the Artaians to help them destroy their respected neighbors, Rooster sent an automated reply claiming the message was of too limited importance to reach the High Commander. Rooster did however, transmit to the Keninati. "The Corocians would greatly appreciate said alliance with your people, and will give you the systems of Huron and Helios, away from the war at hand and your enemies. Please send your commanding representative to Earth for a hearing of the Corocian Alliance." Rooster also reached the other allies of the Corocians to request their attendance at the hearing.....

It is not fear that will destroy you, but the absence of it.

21 sends a sincere thank you to the Corotian Empire, and immeadiatly begins building a shipyard. The shipyard is just opening after 3 days of non-stop construction, when a battered Kenienati War cruiser slows from hyper-space in the Huron system. "Sir, I need to talk to 21 immeadiatly."
"I'm here." 21 comes in from the Besserk's comm channel.
"The Artaian Empire has attacked our colonies in the Proxima Nebulae, demolishing them. The fleet was large enough to halt our progress."
"I have an idea. It's very risky, but it's the only thing I can think of. This will be a very dangerous mission. I will lead the mission."
21 lands on Huron, where the Kenienati resistance force has already overheard all of this. He looks around at his faithful soilders, considering which ones to take with him.
"Guati, Cinois, Xitifur, Dundiat, and Xu, you will accompany me on this mission. Here's the plan. We will be running the guatlet. We need to go to the Gorky system, where we should intercept the Artaian fleet. According to our reports, there are 50 heavy cruisers, 30 Escort Carriers, and 8 Dreadnaughts, and 2 Motherships, nearly thier entire army. (This is NOT breaking the technology advancment rule - the Artaian Empire has had these ships for hundreads of years) We will then divert the fleet to the Lontri system. We will be under the fire of both the Artaian fleet and the Adzari Empire. Once to the Lontri system, we will quietly sneak out, leaving the Artaian fleet and the Neo-Kenientai movement there. That will knock out one of our enemies. From there, our fleet will scatter and regroup at Molos, the nearest freindly port. This will take us right into the beast's mouth, but I have faith in all of you. Good luck."

The Artaian fleet and the Kenientai fleet converge at the Gorkey system, as planned, and the Kenienati fleet immeadiatly retreats. Being the best of the Kenentai pilots, everyone except Xu survives the journey straight through hell. they get to the Lontri system ans scatter, leaving the Neo-Kenienati fleet to deal with the Artaians. But the Neo-Kenienati fleet didn't stand a chance. They didn't last 5 mintues. Then, the Artaians were suddenly so stricken with fear that it was obvious even through the movements of thier ships. All the ships meved into position over New Keniat and started bombarding it with everything they had. The planet suddenly exploded under the fire of the deadly Artaian weapons. All of the Fighters were destroyed by the explosion, the escort carriers were severly damaged, but the Heavy Cruisers and the Dreadnaughts were only slightly damaged, and the 2 motherships were practically unscratched, even though they were only about 20 miles above the surface of a planet roughly three times the size of Earth.

To Rooster: I know these ships are too powerful, but according to my plot, the Artaian Empire will be destroyed and the Artaians will be whiped out completely. Just give me some time to get to that point in my plot 🙂

Noticed while i was checking the maps for the Keninati that you have some errors:

Ariane, Talii, Omm, and Hatuli are Corocian systems. Corocian forces are pulling out of DSN-6253 (which is also incorrectly noted as Azdgari) so please change that to uninhabited. This isn't an error, but remember to list the Keninati's new systems.

21- Please inform me as soon as your forces are on their way to Molos.

------------------
It is not fear that will destroy you, but the absence of it.

This is the status of the Azdgari Navy:

Azdgari Warships - 300
Azdgari Aradas - 400
Azdaras - 600

-----------------

Then, after Intimidator gets word that the Miranu, allied with the Hinwar and Kenienati, who are the Azdgari's enemies, Intimidator gives the word to Carnotaur: Attack.

Azdgari forces in Outpost Zachit and the surround area immediately mobilize and attack the Mirans. The Miranu, caught off guard, cannot mobilize their fleet fast enough to save Zilma, Blaga, and Namner, which are lost to the Azdgari fairly quickly. After this victory, the Azdgari prepare to attack Zanat.

Okay, I'll change that (since I am the new map keeper), but DSN-6235 was always Azdgari. But, it really doesn't matter. Since you have pulled out, Azdgari forces have moved in. Expect an update on the map soon.

MODERATION: Azdgari was included in the count, it has 150 cruiser class vessels. Carnotaur still needs to edit his post at the top of this page and the one preceding this one. His posts are still not complying with the rules i noted he was violating. The map should be altered again after Carnotaur edits his post to account for the rules. Azdgari forces may move into space in 7887 but you will have to build a structure to effectively claim it. This shall be done before ANY OTHER COROCIAN/RAMAN WAR ACTION OCCURS.

Corocian warships had been assembling in DSN-7887 and now the subspace corridor was opening. Through it emerged the C.W.S. Zodiac to join the group. Rooster: "On all channels, Lieutenant. Beta Brigade, we move on DSN-5495 now!" The ships shot into hyperspace and in several minutes entered 5495. The Azdgari station there was guarded only by two warships waiting to assist the Artaians in their siege. They quickly moved to attack. The Corocian brigade was a mere 5 cruisers and moved to intercept. A blast from both Azdgari vessels hit the bow of the 4th ship and it flew back in flame, disabled. This was their ion cannon of course and they would have to use conventionals from now on. One ship held back with the Zodiac and the other three fired on the Azdgari. One of the Azdgari took a hit to it's engines, and it stopped dead on inertia. The other ships soon managed to disable the other Azdgari taking only minimal damage. The warships pulled back and Rooster released the taskdrones. They flew on the Azdgari like a swarm of bees. Unable to maneuver, the ship was soon destroyed. The station had been removed of most crew to help on the defending vessels, and was quickly overtaken. The Beta Brigade stayed there to enforce the minor victory.

DSN-5495 is now a Corocian territory.

When I was reading you posts Rooster, I found two problems with them:

1. There is never just 2 Azdgari warships in a system that vulnerable!! And besides, you also forgot that there is 3 planets in DSN-5495. Also, I never said that I would help the Artaians in their attack on the Kenienati. I'm not saying that you would have lost, you could have still probably won, but it would be much much harder fighting them and the defense forces of those 3 planets.

2. No, the Azdgari have MORE ships that just 150! I can't mention them all in the game! If there was only 150, then the Azdgari empire would be weak and super vulnerable! They have at least 250 warships.

------------------------

Azdgari forces then simultaneously set up bases in DSN-1810, DSN-4686, and Grenits. Then Carnotaur, seeing an opportunity to keep the Miranu under control and surrounded, sets up bases in Holmm, DSN-8200, and DSN-8209. This blocks off the Emalgha Corocians from UE Corocian aid. With the Miranu effectively surrounded, the Azdgari to the south and east, the neutral Silver fleet to the east, and the Crescent Rim to the north, the Miranu have no where to go.

During that exact same time, 250 newly built Azdgari warships are sent out from the Azdgari core worlds and to the borders. Carnotaur gratefully accepts the G'st'ar'ryh'htn warships and quickly places them on the Azdgari/Corocian border. Then, Azdgari scientists quickly start to work on intigrating the mesh device into their ships.

To Carontaur: The Adzari weren't helping the Artaians, they were just enemies with the Kenienati. The Artaian fleet would actually be hostile to the Adzari, after the Adzari origionally helped the Kneienati.

To Rooster: My forces started heading for Molos as soon as they scattered. Since they scattered, they will arrive one by one over the course of a week.

Clarification: The entire Neo-Kenienati government was destoryed, escept for a small warship convoy lead by Hunter2 heading to the Adzari homeworlds on a diplomatic mission.

Clarification2: Here's the specs on the Artaian Fleet:

80 Heavy Cruisers (50 of which are in the attack fleet)
50 Escort Carriers (30 of which were in the attack fleet, and are now heading home)
15 Dreadnaughts (8 of which are in the attack fleet)
5 Motherships (2 of which are in the attack fleet)

Continuation: The Artaian Empire:
As soon as the planet was destroyed, Escort Carriers headed back to the Artaian Empire to re-arm and repair. Meanwhile, the Artaians decide to punish the Adzari for taking in the Kenientai. Since the Adzari forces were amassing at the border for a offenise on the Corotians, thier defences on the internal empire were minimal. The fleet splits up. 30 Heavy Cruisers make up one section, 8 Dreadnaughts and 20 heavy Cruisers make up a second, and the 2 Motherships make up the third section, which is the most powerful of all of them. These fleets then quickly disarm the adzari defences in Dirach, Molar, and Toi, and perpare for an assult on Adzari. During the conflict, they lost 1 Heavy Cruiser, numerous heavy cruisers were slightly or moderatly damaged, and 1 Dreadnaught was severely damaged after several Adzari Warships decided to take after the Japanese fighter jets in the wars of acient Earth.

If you are talking about Kamakazis, they weren't jets. They were Zeros w/ a 550 pound bomb strapped on them and only a half a tank of gas when they left.

To Carno: The Miranu goverment is gone. You will not find Miranu fighters in any systems. Only Hinwar, which are resistent to Azdgari weapons. You just made your worst mistake trying to attack the Hinwar. It's just like a Voinian Cruiser in Crescent space.. almost invincible due to armor vs. shield based weapons. Do not think you can conquer so easily anymore, the Hinwar are NOT stuiped like you make them out to be, there are ALWAYS ships gaurding systems. The Hinwar are powerhouses... slow to invade but quick to defend.

Hinwar forces counter the attack quickly. They jump in with their fleets into Zimla and Blaga, which are taken back almost instantly...

The forces on Blaga continue their attack and head for Outpost Zachit...... now leave it to the mods to decide who wins since we are on bad terms.

Gaurdian Alliance outline:
10 Dreadnaughts {protect major systems}
15 frigates {launch raids}
100 fighters. {patrol all systems}

50 supply ships.. which are running supplies about..

Alien returns to Gualon and begins his command...

Hinwar laborers finally start using machinery, and production is on the rise.

Alien's famous tongue...
"Vionions?? Voinioniommoins?? Viks? Veggies? Vegetables? Oh wait, that's a hewman plant...
SEARCH..... THEN...... ASK!!!!

To Digital Boy: You are WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!! The Azdgari have more than enough ships to defend their core worlds. And besides, the Azdgari conquered the entire south tip, the Zidagar, and the Igadzra. There is NO WAY you could EVER POSSIBLY do that.

To Alien: Who said the Azdgari only had "Shield Damage weapons"? Remember the disruptor beam? It rocks against both shields, and it works exceptionally good against armor. All Azdgari ships carry them (except for the Azdara which has a miniaturized version which does less damage. There is also no way you could just take back Blaga and Zilma that easily.

To Everyone: You all think that the Azdgari are extremely weak and spread out, and that you can just march up to my homeworld and kill my entire navy. Some of you also think that my ships stink against shields. I have the disruptor beam and it rocks against shields!!! Also, the Azdgari aren't stupid either. They don't just do really stupid things like let you capture their systems without counter-attacking. I am also technilogically advanced. Remember, I have the technology of the G'st'ar'ryh'htns, the Ramans, and the Izgari (who are only devoted to technilogical research, and who don't play a major role in anything). Oh, and don't forget the Agzarai.

To Rooster: The Azdgari Empire has at least 400 warships. Go ahead and count them. You'll see that I'm right. It may seem like a lot, but remember, I need all those ships to keep my borders secure. I also have access to more resouces than all of you so I can build more ships.

Also, expect a map update today.

Hippocrit! In your last 3 posts you have instantly set up 12 stations, sent out 250 vessels from your homeworld, and apparently done such a number on Hinwar, Miranu, and Corocian forces that it says nowhere that they were able to even fire a shot at you. Very impressive. Captian Carnotaur is SUSPENDED from the storyline until he can edit his posts to account for the rules i noted he violated in the second post of this page.

I think everybody will agree with me (even Azdgari allies) that this is not following the noted rules. I will reconsider if anyone (besides Carno) states they support the validity of Carnotaur's posts. No other major war action will be made until this is mended.

CONTINUATION: Rooster was once again back on Earth and waiting to see the results of the Artaian conflict. Officer: "Commander, your scheduled appointment with Feza of the Emalghan Sciences." Rooster: "Yes, of course. Bring him in." Feza, a small, wary man, walks in and sits in one of the 4 chairs opposite Rooster's desk. Feza: "Thank you for meeting with me. As you know, the Emalghans have been the pride of Corocian defense technology since the liberation, and now we have another toy for our ships." Rooster leans in, very intriqued. "Go on." Feza walks over to the vidscreen and brings up the scans of the disruptor beam. Feza: "This is the Azdgari Disruptor Beam, capable of warping subspace in order to inflict damage on vessels." He pulls up the subspace info screens and the elemental database. "This is subspace, the layer of space in which slipstream and long range transmissions take place. The opposite entry is the antiproton, one of the basic elements in shield grids. It repels proton emissions. And this is the anti-ion, which does quite the same to subspace distortions. Using these particles through the shipboard emmiters, disruptor charges near our vessels would be unaffective." Rooster: "How close?" Feza: "If the beam hits close enough to do more than minimal damage, the anti-ions will repel it." Rooster: "A test then. Load these into the Zodiac 's emitters and we'll set a course to the northern jurisdictions." Feza smiles proudly, shuts off the vidscreen, and walks with Rooster down to the Capitol Bay....

The Zodiac pulled out of slipstream at a northern Azdgari patrol area, along with 6 warships equipped with anti-ions. 4 Azdgari Warships were patrolling and began to fire on the Corocians. After a while they could see their attack was futile. They powered their disruptor beams and one fired. The fourth ship was hit, glowed, and returned fire with only minor damage. The Emalghan defense was a success. The Azdgari vessel decided to set course to tell Carnotaur of this problem immediately.

(What i'm about to post is what Carno needs to learn from, that it takes time to make changes) Soon Rooster landed back at Earth and told Feza of the success. Feza: "Excellent. I knew we could repel their weapon, it just took some time." Rooster: "Now the tricky part is installing it on 240 warships." Feza: "I suggest we call back overworked vessels on the border to give them a break. During that time the entire patrol fleet can be fitted." Rooster: "It would be a risk, and we'd surely be dead if they planned a major offensive now against our replacements. Ah, well. The Ghstarythns are fortifying the lacking Azdgari fleets and we really need a counter. Put it into force, contact Oasa and see if he can assist your engineers. I have business to attend to." Rooster boarded the C.X.S. Pultaq and entered slipstream toward Ghstartythn space. The Pultaq had been fitted with a single prototype of Guardian technology to allow slipstream through black hole areas. It took 9 days to arrive at the capitol. Rooster landed, his cloak protected him from sight but defense forces were converging on his signature. He walked into the temple, where his scans said Lonevoinian was. He was there under armed guard, which seized Rooster on entry. Rooster: "Just let me speak with you, privately, away from the actions of Rama!"
