I will agree to that. But are you sure you can't regulate them as Silverfleet territory? I have enforced the one nation per person rule and would not like to have to change that. Also, I really wanted to hit the Agzarai beyond the slipbarrier. Tell me if we can trade, Carno. Forget the very last part where Ziatsu explained the need for Beta 63.
CONTINUATION: Rooster: "It happened first upon our analysis of routine Azdgari scans in Zidagar. I was fighting in the Pultaq and decided to detonate my inactive slipcrystal on an Agzarai Battleship. That point of subspace is now contaminated. Slipstream could not pass through that small area. Imagine if we increased this explosion. The Hija Device was for just this plan and is the source of the Ancara's blocking of subspace around their territory. The Ancara are now being hit by the Agzarai and wish to aid in any way to eliminate their transit into this area. However the Azdgari will be distracting the Agzarai in that area while the plan is implemented, so we would appreciate Silverfleet aid in detonating the devices. If you agree we will begin immediately."
------------------ It is not fear that will destroy you, but the absence of it.
(This message has been edited by roostersw (edited 01-08-2001).)
"Thank's Daedalus, my people will appreciate your kindness. Unfortunately I will not be joining them on their new planet. I will kill the traitorous Carnotaur if I lose my life in doing so." Rama then goes on to tell all about his alliance with Carno and how Carno broke it. He also told his race's history to Daedalus.
"Now I must go to seek a planet for my fleet. I will meet with you later on how to rescue my people. I do not know how to do it without venturing into Agzarai space."
------------------ Belief in a cruel God makes a cruel man.
To Rama: BROKE IT?!?!?! I did NOT break it!! You broke it yourself just because I allied with Rooster! I had no choice! If we had continued fighting the Corocians, we would all be conquered by now! The Agzarai would have let us fight till we were so weak, we would be extremely vulnerable and then they would have wiped us out! The loosing battle they are waging against the Ruccannan Empire would never have happened if we had continued fighting Rooster! It is YOU, Rama, not me, who broke up this alliance!!
-------------
Carnotaur sends a secret sub-space transmission to Daedalus: "I'm not going to walk up to 20,000 ships and try to beat them in a battle. I have a better idea. You see, I have this friend, who is with me right now, and he is just dying to meet you and Rooster. Come to Azdgari and I'll introduce him to you. And believe me, you definitely want to meet him! He is an expert with Slipstream, and can help us defeat the Agzarai! I urge you and Rooster, please come to Agzarai immediately!"
------------------ To Escape Velocity: Nova and Beyond! -------------- Millennium. Its coming, prepare for it. Coming to the (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiaSW.com/games/ev/chronicles.html")EV Chronicles(/url).
To Carno: Why are you yelling at my fictional character. Your character never heard the conversation so he wouldn't get mad. Your character doesn't even know about my meeting with Daedalus or where my new planet is (even i don't know).
I'm not talking to your character, I'm talking to YOU!
To Daedalus: Daedalus, what do you mean by "Rooster, I will help you take Ursla and hold it long enough to get the material."???? I OWN URSLA! You don't need to take it with a fleet, all you need to do is ask me! I'll gladly give it to you!
P.S. Also remember for you and Rooster to meet on Azdgari with Carnotaur and his unknown friend.

<Tranmission Source: Rogue Prime> <Encrypted> <Target: Ancara> Hello, I am Nova6, leader of the Rogue. I have watched you, and now I wish to form an alliance so that our two nations (who are VERY close to each other) may live in peace. If you accept, my forces will protect you against the Azgarai, and we will provide you with some resources. We possess a device that is capable of making one jumplink, we could use it to connect our two nations. But it can only be used ONCE. Please, do not deny. <End Tranmission>
------------------ Long live the Rebellion!
Ah, the good old days...anyway Carno i already approved the change of that territory now to Silverfleet space, and that offer is on the table. Also, i don't believe Daedalus saw your post and my retraction before he posted that. We no longer require those materials.
<START TRANSMISSION> <SOURCE: ANCARA RELAY 14> <TARGET: COROCIAN NORTH RELAY 3, ROGUE COMMAND> Nova, i was informed of your transmission. I am the Ancara Minister of Alien Relations, Zethral. I believe you are unaware of my people's Non-Incursion Pact proposed by the Corocians and signed by Cmdr. Rooster, Pres. Oasa, Cpt. Carnotaur, P.M. Intimidator, and Cmdr. Daedalus. This document restricts incursion by either my people or those on your side of interfering with the other's territory. I'm afraid an alliance with you would be against that pact. Thank you for your interest. <END TRANSMISSION>
Nova, the Ancara are superior and are holding the Agzarai off better than all of us combined. I doubt they'd want to worry with an alliance right now. Carno, the Izgari will have to be evacuated i'm afraid if we are to successfully disrupt the barrier, otherwise we will have to use the more risky method of tainting the space around Izgari, which would most definately be thwarted by the Agzarai. Tell me when the Izgari are successfully in Azdgari space and your people are in position to distract the Agzarai forces. on the border.
(This message has been edited by roostersw (edited 01-09-2001).)
Umm... Oops. I thought something like that might happen eventually. Just pretend you didn't see it.
(This message has been edited by Rama (edited 01-09-2001).)
Uh, Rama, please clarify if you are impersonating Daedalus, or if i'm somehow seeing your name under Daedalus' post falsely. I am planning to detonate the devices on our side right at the barrier to disrupt it.
I'm waiting for Carnotaur's verification before i will proceed.
<Tranmission Source: F-25> <Target Roostersw> Roostersw, I will help you detonate the device, but how will you be able to travel into Agzarai space after the detonation. Or do you intend to detonate it behind you. PS. I will still control the TR just as I do now. I don't think it will be a problem. <End Transmission1>
<Target Carnataur> Carno, I will not meet you at Zidagar. I will send a D-clone if you like but I am busy defending myself from the Agzarai. I have discovered a fleet that I must destroy which you already know. <End Transmission2> ------------ By this time, Daedalus's order for 100,000 asteroids (size: XL) had been partialy filled. Only 50,000 asteroids had been prepared due to lack of resources against the Agzarai. Daedalus: "It will have to be enough. Set the heavy freighters up in the systems surrounding Sumo, all freighters will enter the system together. They will then drop their tow of asteroids and leave. The asteroids are outfitted with small thrusters to get them moving towards the targets." --------- Two days later the 40,000 freighters entered the Sumo system. Most could only tow a single asteroid because many of them were a few kilometers in diameter. Some of the rocks were towed by two or three freighters because they were more than 15 kilometers in diameter. The freighters accelerated to the Cloaked Agzarai fleet. They then released their tractor beams and pulled off promply entering hyperspace. The asteroids came at the Agzarai from all sides.
Agzarai sensors officer: (in the high squeaky native tongue) Sir, we have large massive objects heading in our direction from all sides. Diameters ranging from 1 to 20 kilos.
Agzarai captain: (unusually tall at three feet) "Contact all ships. Will still have time to move and take the impact of only some of the objects. (smart move) Have all ships prepare to fire forward.(not a smart move).
The fleet had plenty of time to move to confront only some of the rocks.
Agzarai sensors officer: (in the high squeaky native tongue) Umm, sir, the objects have been identified as asteroids. They have corrected there course and are accelerating towards us. Three minutes till impact.
Agzarai captain: (unusually tall at three feet) What!? Contact all ships manuver to circle formation, blast all asteroids. (also not a smart move)
Agzarai tactical advisor: Sir! There isn't time the manuver wont be complete.
Agzarai sensors officer: (in the high squeaky native tongue) 1 minute to impact.
Agzarai defence officer: Shields activated, green status.
Agzarai weapons: Really powerful cannons online. Powering energy chambers. Go for firing. ----------- Similar procedures had been taking place on the 30,000 other Agzarai ships. ----------- Agzarai capain to all ships: Wait for my order, 3....2.....1....FIRE! --------- Really powerful pulses fired simutaniously from a really lopsideds sphere of various Agzarai ships. The sensors were temporarily blinded. As they compensated a sensors officer screamed out. "Captain, there is now a solid wall of small rocks heading in all direction. Their velocity as been increased by the fire!.
Captain: all ships, ciese fi- Ahhhhh!!!!. --------- The first wave of asteroids hit now reduced to smaller boulders. The ships rocked from the impact as shields were overwelmed by the many meter diameter, high velocity boulders. Craters began forming in the ships' strong armor. Then came the big ones. Asteroids that had not been fired on. Kilometers in diameter. Under this bombardment, the already weakened Agzarai hulls cracked. Single asteroids travelling at thousands of kilometers per hour relative to the agzarai were enough to split a hull in two. The only survivors were about 600 Agzarai ships that were blocked by other ships. This few ships awaited their doom as a strange glittering became evident from far away.
------------------ ---------------------- Give them shell! give them solid shot! Damn them, give them anything!
To Daedalus: I don't mind you destroying all those Agzarai ships, but I was calling you to Azdgari so that I could explain a much easier way to destroy those ships.
However...
As I have said numerous times before, Agzarai are HUGE! They are not just some small 2 feet tall creatures! They are 10 FEET TALL! They don't have "Squeaky Little Voices" they have very deep ones! I don't care about stupid natural selection thing! They are THAT BIG AND THAT TALL!
To Rooster: If detonating that stuff will mean the evacuation of the Izgari, neither I nor the Izgari will help you or agree with your terms. It is actually highly possible to create that barrier OUTSIDE Izgari space. Just you, and Daedalus's D-Clone, meet me on Azdgari immediately. I didn't call you there just to chat. I have major news, and a major opportunity to defeat the Agzarai. However, it will not be useful UNLESS you and that D-Clone meet me on Azdgari immediately and before you seal us off from the Agzarai.
To Rooster Again: Somehow convince Daedalus that the Agzarai are 10 feet tall. I'm getting extremely sick and tired of him talking about the Agzarai being only 2 feet tall and having squeaky little voices. The whole reason the Agzarai are so technilogically advanced is because they needed this technology to survive all these other conquering races in their own galaxy.
Until Rooster and the D-Clone meet on Azdgari, I will not help you keep out the Azdgari, and neither will I evacuate the Izgari. Not until you meet me on Azdgari.
Hmm...over two posts you've stated that we should "meet you on Agzarai" and "keep the Azdgari out". Please try to make sense, i know the names are similar. Daedalus, the Agzarai are to Carno's specifications.
CONTINUATION: Rooster just finishes recieiving the second request for a meeting on Azdgari. Daevan: "Sir, we have no idea what Carnotaur has planned, and our plan will work if we go quickly. I'm afraid that if Carnotaur means to sway us from our working plan to introduce one of his, there may be deceit involved. Please, allow me to go in your place while you command the attack. I will be able to contact you on your way to the barrier if the plan is necessary." Rooster: "Yes, Daevan. Advise Carnotaur of your coming and i will proceed with the fleet to the front." Daevan did so and arrived at Azdgari High Command later than he expected. Rooster would already be waiting at the barrier by the time he could transmit the plan. Carnotaur was disappointed but welcomed Daevan just as well and the meeting began.
OOPS! Sorry. I'll get the names right from now on.
-----------
Carnotaur speaks to Daevan. "Daevan, as you know, the Agzarai are fighting multiple enemies in their galaxy. One of these happens to be the Ruccannan Empire. Similar in personality to the Agzarai, the Ruccannan are less ignorant and arrogant, and they are also excellent tactical minds. I just learned today, that the Ruccannan have been monitoring us. They know about and have all our technologies, including Slipstream, and they are engaged in a winning battle against the Agzarai. Though they intend just to regain their borders, they can keep the Agzarai navy occupied long enough for us to drive them out of our galaxy. How do I know all this? Send him in!"
Daevan turns to the door, and in steps a rather big and highly muscular creature. With blue, reptilian skin, 8 feet tall, and large teeth, the alien has several knives and blasters.
"I am Admiral Rok Tinar, commander of the Ruccannan Seventh Fleet. I am in charge of 250,000 warships that in five minutes will enter this galaxy. Carnotaur has asked me to use these warships to help keep the Agzarai occupied while you create a barrier AROUND the Izgari. The Agzarai navy is a tad weak around the Izgari, and we can keep them occupied long enough so that you can safely make the barrier AROUND the Izgari, and so we won't have to cut them off and evacuate them. Deal?"
Daevan: "Rooster, Carnotaur has a great plan. It definately deserves our attention. Halt the attack!" Rooster: "Silverfleet, call of the incursion." A Raman soldier comes up on the screen. He bears different insignia than before seen Raman soldiers. Raman: "You have no idea how large this is, do you Commander? Those bastards killed my wife, my son, and they had my home destroyed! I will not be afraid to walk down my street anymore!!" The Silverfleet ships, apparently commandeered by rogue Ramans, fire the Hija Devices. Rooster: "No!!" Officer: "We lose everything if those devices drift away! We have to detonate them now or we will all be slaughtered by the Agzarai!" Rooster: "There's no other way. Engage." The command officer's come to the center console and enter their codes. Rooster slams his fist down on his console. Space is filled with the scream of the crystals. They explode in a strangely pink blast, and the slipbarrier warps and distorts, subspace disrupting just as expected. Rooster: "This will not be the light, nor the darkness. We have made no victory, but gave other's lives to redeem our own."
In the meeting was the D-Clone, it was noticable that he had a shiny piece of metal around the toe of his boot. D-Clone: Personally Rok Tinar, I am rather skeptical. First you look a lot like the Agzarai except that you are blue and a little shorter. Second, this is very similar to how the Agzarai came to be fighting us. They wanted to help against the Ramans. Third, I think we can handle things ourselves. Fourth, I see no reason why you are such great freinds with Carno. Once Carno was great friends with the Agzarai and now look at us. We have lost billions of lives of innocent races thanks to one of Carno's friends. I ask that you just ignore our existence. I don't do business with gods. ----------- Carno, I will for now on acknowlege your Agzarai picture. However, as an inside joke among the Silver Fleet, my characters will always refer to them as two foot tall rolly polly bigheads with high sqeaky voices. This joke was started as a prank by a technician deep inside F-25. The titanium toed boot has now become a part of standard Uniform of the Silver Fleet in the Agzarai war. It represents kicking the Agzarai's big heads.
Rooster comes quickly in having been close to the Azdgari system at detonation. He simply stands and waits for someone to speak. He expects either scolding from Carnotaur or heavy questioning from the D-Clone about the takeover.
Daedalus, the Ruccannan do not look like the Agzarai. I was talking about personality similarities, such as bad temper, violenceness, slight arrogance. Ruccannan are actually quite humanoid, but reptilianish, and they have reptilianish heads. Agzarai don't have scales, but Ruccannan do.
------------
As soon as the D-Clone finishes talking, Carnotaur looks a bit scared. "Uh, Mr. D-Clone. I forgot to tell you; Ruccannan have bad tempers."
Rol Tinar then lunges at the D-Clone. He grabs him, and then gets him in a headlock. "Fool!" he yells.
"Rok! Let go!" Carnotaur yells.
Rok Tinar regains his composure and then releases the D-Clone. "Sorry. Bad temper."
Then, Rooster walks in...
As Rok Tinar and Carnotaur, looking furious, listen to Rooster. Carnotaur sighs. "What are the affects of this premature detonation? What will happen to the Izgari? They were near the blast, and I'm worried about them."
Then Rok Tinar asks Rooster a question. "How will our ships enter into your galaxy? We have all your technology, you know, slipstream and stuff. But how am I going to bring in the Seventh Ruccannan Fleet with this barrier?"
(This message has been edited by Captain Carnotaur (edited 01-09-2001).)
Rooster: "We've tested the use of subspace transmission through the new hijabarrier, and our people are doing the best they can to talk the Izgari through damage control. There is an open hole at the south transfer to Raman space. I'm afraid the only way now is to evacuate the Izgari and close the barrier. The Ancara don't have the resources to provide any more Hija Devices expect the two we have remaining. D-Clone, you must alert Daedalus of the possibility some of the Ramans are working outside of Rama's orders. A lockdown should commence immediately. I'm willing to take suggestions, but nothing can reverse the Hija."
Rama, you can still have part of the south tip. Say so and i will tell you what systems you get. The Izgari can either become part of the Azdgari, or they can join someone else's nation. The Corocians have petitioned to have your 3 Azdgari systems between Corocian space and the Silverfleet put into Corocian rule. This doesn't have to be settled right now, but the citizens have opposition to this new development. The Emalghan scientists working with the Silverfleet on F-25 are close to a breakthrough in terraforming and may be able to repopulate the Miranu worlds under Silverfleet territory.
