but it's such a limited rating system. Couldn't different aspects of the plug be rated out of ten in a similar way to that suggested by the original message in this thread? Just a thought, Andrew.

EV Target Graphics Pro, i cant play very well without it, i dont know why, i guess its just too wierd to me. But its an awesome plug, go download it right now. 9 1/2 outta 10 (theres a bug if you use it w/ 1.0.2)

I know, I think people should also rate them in the add on file site. But I wanted a more in-depth review, if you see what I mean. Maybe you can review one andrew.

I got that at home, for you guys and girls, who dont know what it is It's a plug-in which changes the 2D Target pic in the game into nice 3D one (the ones you get when you buy a ship). It also changes the info bar when you are playing the game.
This how I'll review it: it's plot N/A (I can not mark on this) (Well??? It not meant to change the story) It's playabilty 7 out of 10 You can put this in your plug-in when you are play the EVO game (Without the plug-in that changes the EVO ships) It's grapitcs 8 out of 10 Nice changes to the info bar
Overall 8 out of 10 If you are playing the unchanged EVO, why not put this in your plug-in folder

Plot-4 Its supposed to be expansive, but just by starting the game, you have to be on one side of the fight.
Playability-2 Lots of bugs. Also, you have to continually return to the original EVO galaxy to get credits.
Graphics-8 Personally, I think the ships are ugly. However, the targeting system is cooler, Overall the graphics are about the same in quality as the original EV.
Overall-4.67 I didn't like this plug. It had some neat ships and outfits, but overall it was too buggy, and uninteresting.

Femme Fatale is definitely one of the best plug ins, but you can't forget where it all began...
Plot: 8- It's pretty good, but it gets kinda cheesy in some points... Playability: 10- This one's huge. The entire game is redesigned, complete with black holes, space plagues, and asteroids that can hit you... very cool. Graphics: 8- the ships are pretty well designed, and the planet graphics are all completely redone.
Still, this is nothing compared to Femme Fatale. Granted, you have to play this scenario to understand most of the stuff in F.F.
Forgot to mention- the name of the scenario is The Frozen Heart... I sure feel smart now...
Ugh. Despite all the praise for it that I hear elsewhere, I can't stand The Frozen Heart. There are just so many little things about it that really piss me off. Like... asteroids that chase you. Wtf?
Dang astroids! and black holes dont move do they???? I mean come on
as for the best plug definately disable smoke trails!! ya bloody things anyway you would think by that time they would have found a different means of propultion

Plug-In: Escape Velocity Game Expander
Plot: 3
Playability: 8 (even though it's not compatible with almost all other plugs, It's still quite fun to play)
Graphics: 10 (EVGE's graphics are AWESOME!!)
Overral: 10 (EVGE is one of the best plugs i've ever seen! It rocks!)
Plug-In: Hornet 1.0
Plot: 5
Playability: 5
Graphics: 7 (Hornet mainly just recycles old EV PICTs, but the graphics are still pretty cool)
Overral: 7.70
Frozen Heart, in my opinion, is one of the best plug-ins out there. Personally, i prefer FH to FF, but that's just me. Frozen Heart Review plot- 10 It has a plot that will keep you playing until the very end. playability- 10 Takes a while to beat, and requires skill over brute force. It can be played again and again and again graphics-10 Completely new, and are very skillfully done. Overall 10 If you haven't played it, play it. If you have, play it again.
Femme Fatale Review plot-9 Good, though not as good as FH's playability-10 new ships and planets allow for a lot of fun graphics-10 The new ships are cool! Overall- 9 and 3/4 A good sequel. Definitely worth playing.
EV: Pale
Plot: 10. Exelent plot!
Playability: 9. I'm playing my third time through.
Graphics: 9. Improves a lot of the origional graphics as well as adding some ĺss-kick'n new ones.
Overall: 9 1/3. Definately on of the better one out there.

EVSO (Escape Velocity Stellar Objects) for EV Override
This is a plugin that changes the planet, asteroid, and landing pics.
Plot: N/A (Doesn't change plot)
Playability: 10/10 (really n/a but what the heck...)
Graphics : 10/10
Overall: 10/10
I'm being sincere, too. The graphics are sooooo much better than the original ones it's not even funny.

It totally changes the graphics to make them awesomely mad phat cool pupsiik. It rocks.
Overall: 9 (the ships are too dithered).
EV: The Awesome Four Plugs are: EV Game Expander, Pale, Galactic Scourge, and Final Battle.
Why? Plot, of course.

The astroids that chase you are supposed to make the game more difficult! If you don't like the challenge, Don't play EV
Plug-in: Babylon 5
Plot: 9 (I never saw the show so it was new to me) Playability: 10 ( the newest version had missions for the narn and centauri govs) Graphics: 9.5
Overall: 9.5 word of advice for people who have not played this yet. Dont go into Vorlon space
