Ring of the gods

I've heard people talking about the "ring of the gods" on here. Could someone post its stats?

I've managed to kill 1 sea giant, but he didn't drop one. I want to know if its worth trying to kill another.

Oh, and where is this secret waterfall everyone mentions?

Ring of Gods: +3 to all stats except speed. Rarely dropped by sea giants (I've gotten one, but had to kill around 10 -- and I had 50 luck)

Waterfall cave is 2 screens north of the North Gidolan tunnel entrance on the west side of the screen. Walk into the waterfall from the east side.

Cheers! 😄

With the current game version, even though the Ring description says +3 all stats except speed, it does add +3 to your speed. Perhaps this will be changed with the next updated version. Or, perhaps they will leave it alone and change the description instead. 🙂

What abilities does it take to fight sea giants without getting whonged after a couple of rounds?

I've been sharpening my character on minotaur and cyclops and elixirs for a good many hours, but with 147hp I get in only a few whacks before being munched like a bug. Yeah, verily a juicy, squirmy larvae like Jason ate at MacWorld. Mm.

You need to be over 200 hp to take one hit and live, and every other swing to preaty much take a filter of healing, so if you get hit, your back to 100% in a jiffy

Well, I just use the "ancient tunnel" trick someone else described on the site to kill them (with the Elven Bow of Destruction). Takes a while, but works 🙂

Besides, I'm Level 24 with only 155 HP. Not likely to get over 200 soon (although my vitality is something like 23 now).

because it will take so long to get to L25, you can spend your time buying elixers from the witch for vitality, then by L25 you can gain a extra 70-100 or more depending on how close your already to L25 and how soon you start harding money for elixers.
Old image of my guy a bit after L26: (url="http://"http://homepage.mac.com/arcangel_c/.Pictures/Etc./PillarsofGarendall1.jpg")http://homepage.mac....fGarendall1.jpg(/url)
now at almost L27 (still a few mil away) I spent more time buying strength and now can kill a sea giant in 2 blows, and they can swing at me for quite a while untill they finaly hit me since my dex is so high,
