What is the thoughest(hardest) ship to kill in the game? Special ships are included. ???? All replies are welcome.
------------------ If it´s quality software you can read "Made with Macintosh" -Shadow
Well, the ship the probably takes the longest to beat is of course the Dreadnought. But I don't think it's the toughest ship overall.
The Disco Bison: Special ship, special weapon. It's main weapons are large numbers of SAE modules and two Disco Machine Guns. He can beat your ass from a distance with the SAE modules, and then shred you up close with the Disco Machine Gun. The gun isn't that powerful per round, it just has such a high fire rate that it's like getting a Filo fired at you.
Fast and Fiery (Not sure of the name): A pirate, flies an Arada. Your think "An Arada? This'll be so damn easy." I think not. This kind of underestimating will lead to death considering his main weapon is a big-ass beam that can kill you in about two seconds, tops.
U.E.S. Incontrovertible: Large numbers of fighters, huge increase in shields. This ship takes a LONG time to beat, far longer than the Dreadnought if you survive.
These are just the three toughest in my opinion of course.

Time is visible in all places.
Clock towers, wristwatches, church bells divide years into months, months into days, days into hours, hours into seconds, each increment of time marching after the other in perfect succession. And beyond any particular clock, a vast scaffold of time, stretching across the universe, lays down the law of time equally for all.
In this world, a second is a second is a second.
Time moves forward with unwavering regularity.
Time is an infinite ruler.
Time is absolute.
Have any of you ever run into the "Angel of Death"? It's a pers I added in Secession 1.5, a ridiculously souped up (though not completely invincible), psychotic Crescent Warship. I've never actually seen it in action, and I would like to know if anyone else has. Thanks.

Since we're getting into plugins now, one obvious candidate for toughest ship in the game comes to mind:
Crescent Station from Beyond the Crescent.
ARRRGH!
The above suggestions are all valid. I might add the "Elizabeth (whatever last name is)" ship (person who won contest to get an NPC in EVO way back when), as it carries a sizeable amount of fighters (I dunno, 300?).
Other vicious ships from plugins:
1. Frozen Heart's Black Hole. I beat this one through sheer luck and a whole tonne of extra shielding, and I was still down to about 2 millimeters of armor left on the bar after beating it.
2. Special Weapons Replicon from Galactic Scourge. Tonnes of weapons, fast, small, and reproduces ships which further reproduce. I beat it only by blitzing it in a maxed out ship with a full Kedstrel escort and taking it out within 15 seconds of entering its system. Wait any longer than that and it fills the system with its escorts. This ship drove me NUTS!
3. The Titan from Clavis and Beyond. INSANE weapons range. Ludicrous shields. I beat it. Barely. By constantly shooting off the forklift. It still took half an hour. Oi.
Thanks for your opinions! I know all of you probably disagree, but the Nadir is pretty though (if you take him in the beginning). Not in the late game though. I got one more question, if you capture a special ship, will you get it´s special features? Also, is there any special "Igazra", that would be though! Thanks.
The closest there is to a special Igazra are either the Pers ones (I.S.S. ...BLAH BLAH) which have more shielding and perhaps some more weaponry. But the only real special ones are the ones with beam weapons you encounter during the Zidagar missions. Those are crap though, easier than regular ones. The beam weapon isn't worth squat.
Also, since we're going onto plugs. Chimera in FF The Beast in FH

Contenders are...
The Voinian Dreadnaught, since it can soak up so much damage. Very tedious if you don't have appropriate weapons.
The Disco Bison, since it can kill you so fast.
Or that occasionally seen Azdgari Azdara with a recharge rate of 1 frame. If he ever gets out of your stream of fire, he's instantly good as new. I once saw 5 or 6 Igadzra Igazras trying to beat this guy up, and he just flew around and made them look like fools.
For ships you can buy, the UEF cruiser (from Rapscallius) propely outfitted is for all practical purposes indestructable. It can absorb everthing that 5 Igazras can throw at it with essentially no shield damage.

Thanks for your thoughts, but I still got a question that havn´t been answered. If you capture a special ship, will you get the special features it got? Thanks.
Depends. If u mean special ships as in the named ships, then no. If you capture the disco bison, it reverts back to a normal emalgha freighter. I've done it. But if u capture the variant ships, like zatchit aradia, zatchit fighter, igzara aradia, azadari warships, you do get their specific modifacations.

It depends on how it is "special." If the weapons are part of the ship (for example, the Igazra version that has a beam), then yes, you get the special features. It the outfits were added on as part of the "pers" resource (for example, the Disco Bison's gun) then you don't.
And there's an additional complication: some weapons don't have associated outfits. It's not just that the outfits aren't available; the problem is that they don't exist at all. For example, if you get the dreadnaught mission, go fight it, abort the mission, and capture the ship, you have the intercepter bay, enhanced turrets, etc. You get to use those weapons for a while. Unfortunately, after you land (maybe this only happens if you go to the outfitter?), then they mysteriously disappear. :frown:
They come back if you capture another ship and use the "special" ship as an escort, though.
Hey Mr. Burch, if you're reading this... you should fix the weapons-disappear- if-outfits-don't-exist thing.
