update I will not be updating the plugin until sometime juneish. The past and next few weeks have been and will be very dtressing for me (finals, projects up the wazoo, etc.). I am sorry I have not been able to finish it yet, but I've really been on my toes lately for homework and stuff. I'd do it in two weeks, except I'm going out of country for a class trip. Sorry all... Progress thus far: dying...ish I have some characters completed (all entered, just not al with desirable ships, etc. Planet and system are done so far. Previously planned mission string will not come out until the next release. I'll be releasing what I have on my website in a couple days (next weekend?)
If anyone would like to make the storyline bit, and send it to me, I'll include it into my plug, or maybe anyone who wants storylines will download a second plug...I'll have to provide you with the Boozerama planet and system numbers...but it could work. Well...bad news mostly. My hard drive had a huuge problem, and is having problems recovering data. Mostly personal stuff (the EV stuff may or may not be fine). As far as I know this halts plugin development for quite some time on my part...my friend has an older copy of the plugin (he was my first tester), but it's back about an hour of work (total, not all at once).
I may still finish it this summer, but I just figured I should let you know.
Good news was already mentioned (an off-HDD backup copy).
Next year, I'm bringing a USB external harddrive to school, so I don't have to worrky about my Windows 2000-using harddrive dying on me.
Tip: Never cut power to a computer when it's running too slow for your likings. Always let it finish what it's doing, and shut it down. Oh, and don't drop your computer, either. Bad, bad stuff...about half of my personal data (including the music I made) is un-gettable for either of the above reasons.
