Last night, I was making EV Destroyer 2.0. There was a new system with a planet where you can but the Bulk Freighter, Luxary Linar, and Executive Transport. To do this, I had to change the tech level of the ships. When I went to change the ET's tech level, I noticed it was already 1! I looked up to see the mission bit '67' to be able to buy it I started digging into the missions. The closest I got was mission bit 66 for the Confed Alien Mission. I did not check all of the missions, If you know where 67 is it would be cool to know.
I just found that wierd!
------------------ Destroyer E is the name of my ship and the name has a good meaning.
if this is for EVC, then I have no idea which mission number 67 is...I looked long, long ago, and got the same result...nil...good luck getting around to it, though. I spent a while trying to find the missions to get special ships. btw, I don't believe I found a mission that allowed you to buy bulk freighters...is there one?
------------------ "you're turning into a penguin. Stop it!" "Better dead, than Confed!" One by one, the -phantompenguins- are stealing my sanity...help? I'm like a superhero, but with no powers or motivation.
No sadly, It is one of the things that is still unfinished in EV. You should just modify a cargo or ferry passanger mission to set that bit.

Naw, I'll just make it a special tech only available on a special planet.

Just what I was going to say.
But I don't believe the executive transport was ever intended to be a purchase option.

Yeah, that was wierd...
Yeah, I noticed that a long time ago.
Many plug-ins though made it available, although I don't know why in the name of Bob anyone would want to buy it.
Costs 5 times more than a Shuttle, and is still about three times crappier.

True.

Mugabi and Destiny makes avaible a uber-version of the Executive Transport that is actually worth it. It has 40 shields, more than a Rapier. It has 10 armor, again very excellent with these shields. It has turret slots for 4 turrets (!), and 5 Missiles as standard armament. If you think it doesnt have enough space for turrets, well, Mugabi has a version of the Proton Turret called UL (Ultralight) Proton Turret. It weighs only 6 tons, and has the same or almost same power as Proton Turret (I never found out which). Oh, and the Survival Guide says it costs 90,000 credits, so it costs 9 times more than a Shuttle.
------------------ I am eager to try to answer mission questions

But I don't feel like downloading a ten meg plug.
